The Social Scene at DealDash

So you’ve visited the DealDash Penny Auction site, you have a username, you came up with a a classic comment and started bidding.  Now that you’re in love with entertainment shopping, you can share your enthusiasm with other players using social media, and for doing that DealDash will reward you with free bids!

The DealDash Facebook Page is a comprehensive, real-time site where you can enjoy seeing other players wins and fun commentary from the DealDash Community.  There is an outstanding staff at DealDash who lovingly care for their social media pages.  There you will find information about up coming sales and current events.

They think of everyone and comment on holidays and American celebrations.  You can see comments and reviews from other players and place comments yourself.  DealDash loves to hear about your wins! They also love to hear about your experiences.

There are a couple of ways to find DealDash on Facebook, they also have a “Reviews, Tips and Strategies Page &  DealDash Secrets Page, here you will learn about other players experiences, DealDash Sales, DealDash Representative Articles, Current Events, and any one’s experience from DealDash.

Once you “Like” the DealDash Facebook Page, DealDash will “Like” you too. Then you will see many of the DealDash postings, but they don’t bomb your FB site at all.  It’s all within an acceptable level of contact.  When you are connected to DealDash though Social Media and you have an active DealDash Account you become eligible for their Photo of the Week Contest which could show up on any of their social media formats.

DealDash also uses Pinterest and Twitter. But what you need to do to enter the contest is take a photo of you and your prize, keep it simple, a “bust” of yourself with the item by your smiling face.  Tip: That’s DealDash’s favorite photo for wins.

Then email the photo to [email protected], send it as an attachment and include a comment like, “I won this $225 PingPong Ball Table for $8.95 plus 100 bids, I saved 95% and it was shipped free! Thanks DealDash!’  That is a very boiled down comment.  Get creative, make your comment stand out, Deal Dash will notice.

The Pinterest and twitter are also a way to connect with other DealDash players, but there isn’t much action that goes on there.  I like to post my wins to my Pinterest page, but it’s just for me, not really connected to DealDash,  the truth is, I love DealDash and it has brought so many quality items to my home that I would never have gone out to buy, but since I won it, I love it!  Like, my Hot Tub, Metal Detector, , Mountain Bike, Racing Bike, countless Handmade Clocks, over a dozen appliances, and many handbags. That is just a sampling of what I win all the time at DealDash.

What you need to do is get your smiling face out there to DealDash, they want to show it off and give you 1000 bids for doing it.  Just for submitting the photo DealDash will give you up to 350 bids, then you are entered in the contest for Photo of the Week.

Bidding on a Budget at DealDash

You might have noticed that DealDash has a new bid pack size for $7, this is the perfect size if you need to add a quick 50 bids to an item you have in auction.  You can also stick to a strict budget with this size.  I often wished I could just get a quick-50 bids, and now I can.

To have a successful bidding experience, it’s always convenient to have a large number of bids in your account at one time, but when you are bidding on a budget, stick to items that you can also afford to buy.   If you buy an item you’ve been bidding on DealDash will refund you the bids you used.  That’s called “Binning” or “BIN” both short for Buy It Now.  You never have to leave empty-handed at DealDash, so bid within your means and you won’t have to.

That means you really don’t want to bid on items you are just looking to exchange for bids, if you lose that auction, you will end your day with no items.  Look over the items for the next 24 hours, choose items you could use for a gift, if you have a $150 budget on that one person, you could essentially win an item in that price range with the 50 bids, so you got your item and you only spent $7 for a $150 gift, but if you didn’t win, you purchase the item and you get the 50 bids back.  Win-Win

But, if you can purchase an item at $500 buy the 2000 or 3000 bid pack and you will have plenty of bids to win so many single items, stay focused on that one item, that is so important when bidding on a budget.  If you start bidding in too many other auctions you will be out of bids before you know it, and when you purchase an item, you won’t get as many bids back.

Also, you are earning free bids the whole time you are bidding for your Time As High Bidder.  DealDash rewards every player with free bids everyday, this is something we earn by being the “highest bidder”.  Every time you place a bid there is about 9 seconds before Bid Buddy places the next players bid, this time is yours and it earns you time toward your next level.  Once there, you get the bids.  These free bids run into the thousands, just keep bidding, you’ll keep earning.

Another way to waste bids is by not using Bid Buddy.  If you stomp in your bids manually, you will get stomped back thereby canceling any free bids you could be earning with your Free Bid Meter.  Likewise, if someone is in the auction stomping on your bids, it doesn’t make sense to stay involved.  You need those free bids, and there is always another item right around the corner.

Try to conserve bids.  Bid on items you can afford to buy.  Protect your free bids, they are as good as  money in the bank, and try not to overbid, no one gets a bargain that way.  Tip: There is an exception to that rule;  If you reach the next level and just got a whole bunch of free bids, go ahead and use those to bid, you never know, and if the item is during a free sale or a 50% off sale, even better!

Good Luck and Happy Bidding!!!

Your DealDash Dashboard – A Helpful Tool

Don’t underestimate the power of your Dashboard.  It’s there and holds certain keys to the questions you have.  It’s much more fun to have all your stats in one place than to have nothing at all.  Your Dashboard has the numbers to help you win.

For example, how many bids did you use on a certain item? You can find that information in your “Bidding History”.  Then you can use this information to help you decide what to do in your next auction.  Perhaps you don’t want to use as many bids, or you think you could have used more bids.  You can also see who you did battle with in the list of Avatars in the auction, find out what the final price was, what sale was available at the time, it’s all good information to help you make an educated guess on your next auction.

Your “Won Auction” is a particularly interesting list.  You can see what you’ve won, and if it’s paid for or shipped, and  whether you exchanged it for bids.  Exchanging for bids is an option DealDash offers if you win an item, and based on its popularity, you will get an exchange, they keep the item and give you X amount of bids.  On average it’s about half, but it can be more or less if the items is very popular, it could be 100% bids, so if the item is $1920 dollars you will receive 1920 bids.  If that same item is not as popular, you may get 960 bids.  That’s not the only factor, others are availability and frequency of offer.

Your “Public Profile” is a useful tool, use it to define your game, encourage others, or perhaps send someone way off target from your bidding style.  There are so many clever profile comments, read a bunch and the right one for you will come.  I like to change my comment often, others have had the same comment as long as I’ve been bidding.  Some use only a dot ( . ) or ( / ).  There are quotes by famous people and snarky comments made up by the players.  Make it fun, you will read it over and over as the auction goes on.

Your “Buy It Now” Tab will let you know if you’ve purchased an item and how many bids you received for your purchase.  You can use this information to see previous thresholds for buying the item.  Hopefully, you didn’t over BIN!

Once you’ve won an auction you can find it directly on the top of your open Dashboard, there you can see all the prizes you have open for purchase, this is also where you can do the exchange for bids if you choose. Just click on the “Pay Now” tab and both options are there to, 1. pay for it or 2. exchange it.

Watch your own stats on your Dashboard and learn from your wins and losses.  This is a convenient tool and DealDash wants you to win, so check your Dashboard often, once in awhile you might open it and see you’ve won a prize and didn’t even know it!

Good Luck and Happy Bidding!!!

Setting Up Your DealDash Account

You’ve come to the right place if you want to try Penny Auctions, DealDash is by far the best site out there, they really set the bar.  They are among the first and now the longest in business Penny Auction sites.

The first thing you want to do to set up your account is to create a public profile.  Your profile is yours forever, and you’ll be remembered by other players for how you play and by the Avatar you choose.  You need four things to get started.  First, buy your initial Bid Pack you, will purchase 60 bids for $36.  This is plenty of bids to see if you like bidding and you will most likely get a full return on this investment because DealDash wants you to win, so there are special auctions just for new players. While you do that you will be prompted to choose your username.  Be creative, it’s more fun.  You and other players will repeat that name over and over in their minds, pick one you’re happy with.

Third, and you don’t have to do this right away, create a catchy profile comment.  DealDash allows each player a paragraph of comments which sits under your Avatar, your comment needs approval from DealDash and that takes a few hours to a day.  That’s the fourth thing you need to do, choose a stock avatar provided by DealDash or upload a photo of your choice.  If you choose to upload a photo it will need to be approved by DealDash and that takes about a day.

At first, you’re considered a “Newbie”, the newbie is usually a diamond in the rough, you just need a little polishing.  A newbie my not be as considerate as a long-time player because they stomp out bids instead of using Bid Buddy, the automatic bidding feature DealDash has is place.  My point being, use your Bid Buddy right out of the gate, you will win more!

So, you have your bids, username, comment and avatar.  You are ready to bid!  Remember to check out more blog post for tips on how to play the game and win.  Read the Rules and Tip & Tactics, they are very helpful for the “never-ever”

Good Luck and Happy Bidding!!!
