Shopping for Computer Glasses

Do you regularly check out the new items going up for auction on DealDash.com?

One exciting new item on DealDash is computer glasses. If you have not yet seen them in the auctions, you might want to check them out.

With the right eyewear, you can enjoy surfing your favorite websites and keep your eyes safe at the same time.

Wearing a pair of computer glasses to protect our eyes from harmful blue light could make a bigger difference to our eye health than we realize. The only problem with new items is that we cannot see customer reviews because they take a while to show up.

Blue light blocking computer glasses

I believe we all agree how important it is to protect our eyes from harm. After all, we only get one good set of eyes to use for the rest of our lives. However, many of us might not know much about protecting our eyes from harmful blue light emitted from our computer screens.

It is now considered to be essential for anyone using an electronic device daily to wear computer glasses. Therefore, it makes good sense to check them out.

Note that DealDash offers a variety of auctions for computer glasses and they all come in sets of 5 but with a variety of different frames. According to the auction descriptions, they are all anti-scratch, anti-reflective, anti-screen flicker, anti-glare and anti-fog computer glasses. They also block 100 percent of harmful UVA and UVB light, and according to all three computer descriptions these computer glasses have 50 percent blue light blocking technology that blocks the most harmful blue light.

One difference is that the computer glasses come with three different price ranges – a BIN is $150; $200 and $275.  Let’s take a look at them.

Computer Glasses with a BIN of $150 (solid black frames)

Jan. 21, the first auction for these computer glasses sold at $1.13 and the winner paid a total of $1.51 including the cost of the 7 bids placed.

Computer Glasses with a BIN of $200 (tortoiseshell pattern frames)

Jan. 21, the first auction sold at $11.03 and the winner paid a total of $95.50 including the cost of the 472 bids placed. One way these computer glasses differ is that they have a +3.00 magnification. They are “made from polycarbonate for maximum durability without sacrificing all day comfort.”

Computer Glasses with a BIN of $275 (wire frame design)

Jan. 21, the first auction sold at $3.02 and the winner paid a total of $15.70 including the cost of the 77 bids placed.

The bottom line

All of the computer glasses provide protection against eye fatigue and relief from long-term eye strain caused by excess electronic device use. Smart phones, tablets, laptops and desktop computers reflect harmful types of blue light that can cause users to have trouble sleeping. Wearing these computer glasses could immediately make a positive difference.
