Great Products Selling Low

As a bargain shopper, I often look for great products that are consistently selling low on DealDash.com.

I thought it might be a good idea to highlight some high-quality products that often sell far below the Buy-It-Now price listed.

Let’s take a look at some of these auctions.

Graphite Microfiber Weighted Blanket Cover

Did you see the 48-inch by 72-inch graphite microfiber weighted blanket cover?  It looks like something all of us could use.  According to the auction description, however, this blanket cover is designed to go over a weighted blanket for easy care and regular washing. In other words, it helps to protect the weighted blanket inside from germs and bacteria.

If we would like to win this product, we only have a limited time to do it because a red notice showed up in this auction saying only 5 units are left.

When I looked at the list of winners in the last 30 days, I was surprised to see how low it would go.  For example:

  • July 19, this blanket cover sold at 6 cents and the winner paid a total of only 66 cents including the cost of the 3 bids placed;
  • July 13, this blanket cover sold at 7 cents and the winner paid a total of 87 cents including the cost of the 4 bids placed; and
  • July 8, this blanket cover sold at 3 cents and the winner paid a total of only 43 cents including the cost of the 2 bids placed.

All of the winners listed above paid less than $1 for this brand new $60 item. Is this just a fluke? Not hardly. Out of the last 26 winners, 20 of them paid a total of less than $10 counting the cost of their bids.

We could never get a better buy than that even if we shopped at the dollar store. That’s even less than it costs for shipping, and when shopping on DealDash shipping is always free!

Solar-Powered In-Ground Garden Lamps

When I saw this auction for a set of six solar-powered in-ground garden lamps, I decided to join the bidding. Perhaps it’s not such a good idea to write a blog and try to win an auction at the same time. However, after I read the many rave reviews of how well these garden lamps work, I wanted to do more than just write about them. I wanted to win them, too.

It’s always a good idea to have well-lit walkways so we can see where we are going and reduce the risk of falling. That’s especially important for senior citizens.

These garden lamps have a BIN of $115 but several winners won some great bargains. For example:

  • July 21, this set of six solar-powered garden lamps sold at $3.97 and the winner paid a total of $21.19 including the cost of the 101 bids placed;
  • July 18, these garden lamps sold at $1.69 and the winner paid a total of $11.89 including the cost of the 51 bids placed; and
  • July 15, these garden lamps sold at $3.15 and the winner paid a total of $8.75 including the cost of the 28 bids placed.

These garden lamps use energy-efficient LED light bulbs and have a built-in solar-powered rechargeable battery. They are made of durable and weatherproof plastic and have a stainless-steel casing. The automatic light sensors will turn the lamps on at dusk and off again as it lightens. They have a working time of 6 to 8 hours. Each lamp weighs only 5 ounces and installation is simple. Just push the plastic stake into the ground.
