Loving DealDash means that you want to bid every day. It’s important to think about your budget and conserve bids. Here are some tips from Dealdash

Let’s be real here – sometimes I spend way too much on DealDash, and my husband tells me that it’s time to cut back a little bit. Well, easier said than done, I just have so much fun on DealDash that cutting back isn’t really my plan. My plan is better than not bidding, my plan is to conserve my bids whenever and wherever possible. Here are some of my best tips, tricks, and ideas to save money and bids while still having fun bidding on DealDash.

Bid on Things that You Would Buy Anyway

By bidding on things that you would purchase anyway you can take the guesswork out of bidding. You don’t have to worry if someone is outbidding you, stomping on your bids, or if they are just being ridiculous. You know that you’re safe with your Buy It Now (BIN) safety net. When you are mentally prepared to purchase anything that you are bidding on, then all of your worries can slip away. After all, when you pay for your item you’ll receive all of your bids back that you spent.

Purchase Bids on Sale

You definitely need to keep an eye on the bid prices. When you see that DealDash is offering a special sale on bids such as .14, .13, or even .12 it’s time to stock up. Typically you only see .12 bids on a holiday, but when you see them, stock up! When you buy bid packs with lower priced bids you get many more bids for your money. This is a great way to get more for your money on DealDash.

Bid Small, Win Big

Search around on DealDash, and see if there are any auctions coming up for items that you think that no one else will be interested in. Maybe it’s an item that has already been up a few times that day. Or perhaps it’s an item that typically goes for a low amount. Throw some bids on there. Give it a try. You might get a big win!

DealDash Tips: One Auction at a Time

As a long-time customer on DealDash, I highly recommend that players focus on only one auction at a time. Why?

Some advantages to focusing on only one auction at a time are:

You are more likely to have enough bids to win the auction. If you bid on more than one auction at a time, you are more likely to run out of bids before you win any of them.
It is easier to pay attention to only one auction at a time
The BIN (Buy-It-Now) option works more to your advantage when you only bid in one auction at a time. For example, if you place 300 bids on a $25 gift card and fail to win the auction, you can buy the gift card for $25 and get all 300 bids back to use in another auction. However, if you place 100 bids on three different $25 gift cards and you do not win any of them, you would have to buy all three cards for a total of $75 to get all your bids back. Which would you rather do—buy only one gift card to get all your bids back or buy three cards to get all your bids back?
It is a courteous gesture to other players who would like to have a chance to win an auction, too. It is very discouraging when the same power players I want to avoid are bidding in all of the auctions I open. In fact, I would like to see a limit placed on how many auctions each player could participate in at the same time.

I’ve always had a better chance of winning whenever I focused on only one auction at a time.

Tips You Need to Know on DealDash

Sure, you could just jump right into bidding on DealDash but it’s better to be prepared. Here are some handy tips and tricks from DealDash to get you started.

DealDash is easy and fun to use, but there are some bidders on there who have been bidding since the beginning and know absolutely everything about DealDash, how it works, when and how to bid, and all of the tricks. If you’re just getting started you probably don’t know too many things about the website. Well, DealDash Tips is here to help you get started. Shall we?

Get to Know the Website

Signing up and bidding right away might seem like a fun idea, and you can do that. However, it’s a much smarter idea to really explore and get to know the website before you start putting down your bids. You need to explore your dashboard, check out the Winner’s Tab, choose an avatar, and write your bidder’s bio. After you have done all of those things, then you can check out the different product categories.

DealDash Product Categories

Bid Packs – They come in standard sized packs of 25, 40, 60, 80, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, 400, 500, 800, 1000, 1500, 3000, and sometimes 5000.
Electronics and Computers –In this section you can find cameras and camera accessories, computers, tablets, phones, phone chargers, and phone cases, and let’s not forget video game systems and the games to go with them,
Fashion, Health, and Beauty – This particular category always has hair dryers, flat iron hair straighteners, and other beauty items as well as massage chairs, foot massagers, jewelry, and designer bags.
Gift Cards – There are no real surprises in the Gift Card section. There are gift cards such as Toys R Us, Bath and Body Works, Bass Pro Shops, Target, Wal*Mart, CVS, and many more.
Hobbies, Toys, Outdoors, and Games – Here is where you will find classic favorites such as bikes, grills, luggage, baby items, and Lego sets.
Home, Garden, and Tools – This section has garden hoses, tool sets, and vacuum cleaners as well as high-end designer furniture and accessories.
Kitchen and Dining – Here you will find pots and pans, bamboo spoon sets, cutlery sets, stand mixers, and even fancy knife sets.

And Now…BID!

So you’ve acquainted yourself with the website, you’ve checked out the categories, now it’s time to bid! Be sure that you select something that you would choose to buy anyway, and bid it up to the purchase limit! If you don’t happen to win, then you can just BIN (Buy It Now), and get all of your bids back when you purchase the product as well as free shipping.

DealDash Tips: Common Mistakes Newbies Make

When you first start playing on DealDash, it is easy to get caught up in the excitement of the competition and the chance to win great bargains. The last thing you might do is to stop, watch, read and learn how to play smart. Only the players who do just that, however, are most likely the ones who win the most auctions, using the least amount of bids and spending the least amount of money.

Some of the most common mistakes newbies make are:

Buying bids at full price instead of waiting for them to go on sale
Bidding from the home page and not allowing the automated bidder, BidBuddy, to place your bids for you.
Bidding in too many auctions at the same time
Bidding when you are too tired or too busy doing other things
Bidding with experienced power bidders that you have slim to no chance to beat
Bidding on items you don’t really need
Not knowing when to stop and over-spending your budget
Not knowing how to use the BIN (Buy-It-Now) option
