Light-weight Chainsaw

Trimming the lower limbs from trees in my yard used to be called “a man’s job” but not anymore!

Many of today’s women can do just about anything a man can do if we have the right tools. When it comes to using heavy power tools, however, we might have a problem because we simply do not have as much upper body strength as most men.

Since I’m single, I have to take care of both the inside and outside maintenance of my home, so it’s important for me to have the right tools, and that’s why I love shopping here.

I often find just what I need on DealDash.com. Did you see the 20-Volt, 12-inch battery operated chainsaw on DealDash?

This brushless light-weight chainsaw has a BIN of $159 and comes with a 4.0Ah battery and charger and an easy-storage bracket. I like that it is battery operated and has no electrical cords, which makes it much easier to use.

Some of the best deals previous winners received are:

  • July 21, this chainsaw sold at $10.19 and the winner paid a total of $24.75 including the cost of the 111 bids placed;
  • July 17, this chainsaw sold at $11.22 and the winner paid a total of $23.82 including the cost of the 63 bids placed; and
  • July 14, this chainsaw sold at $13.70 and the winner paid a total of $33.05 including the cost of the 131 bids placed.

Based on 106 customer reviews so far, this chain saw has received an overall rating of 4.88 out of a possible 5.0 and that’s pretty good. Some of the comments former winners made about this chainsaw are:

  • “Absolutely a nice chainsaw for those small jobs. It helps to buy an extra battery and have it charged while you’re working.”
  • “Works well for a battery powered tool. Not as powerful as a gas one but it gets the job done (with) no fuel purchase or mixing.”
  • “This is an overall great product! I’ve won many things on this website but this has to be the most fantastic of all my wins. Thanks!”

This chainsaw is powered by PWR CORE 20TM lithium technology. According to the auction description, “Industry-leading technology wraps each cell of the PWR CORE 20TM battery for longer run time and battery life.” That sounds pretty awesome. It also allows the user to adjust the chain tension on the electric chainsaw with a convenient dial on the side of the tool while reducing friction with auto-lubrication. Best of all, this chainsaw has an anti-kickback brake, which cuts the power when kickback occurs. That really sounds good to me.

For more detailed information about this chainsaw, see the complete auction description.

The bottom line

Before paying full-price for our next power tool, perhaps we should shop for it on DealDash.com and see if we can win a bargain.

Great Products Selling Low

As a bargain shopper, I often look for great products that are consistently selling low on DealDash.com.

I thought it might be a good idea to highlight some high-quality products that often sell far below the Buy-It-Now price listed.

Let’s take a look at some of these auctions.

Graphite Microfiber Weighted Blanket Cover

Did you see the 48-inch by 72-inch graphite microfiber weighted blanket cover?  It looks like something all of us could use.  According to the auction description, however, this blanket cover is designed to go over a weighted blanket for easy care and regular washing. In other words, it helps to protect the weighted blanket inside from germs and bacteria.

If we would like to win this product, we only have a limited time to do it because a red notice showed up in this auction saying only 5 units are left.

When I looked at the list of winners in the last 30 days, I was surprised to see how low it would go.  For example:

  • July 19, this blanket cover sold at 6 cents and the winner paid a total of only 66 cents including the cost of the 3 bids placed;
  • July 13, this blanket cover sold at 7 cents and the winner paid a total of 87 cents including the cost of the 4 bids placed; and
  • July 8, this blanket cover sold at 3 cents and the winner paid a total of only 43 cents including the cost of the 2 bids placed.

All of the winners listed above paid less than $1 for this brand new $60 item. Is this just a fluke? Not hardly. Out of the last 26 winners, 20 of them paid a total of less than $10 counting the cost of their bids.

We could never get a better buy than that even if we shopped at the dollar store. That’s even less than it costs for shipping, and when shopping on DealDash shipping is always free!

Solar-Powered In-Ground Garden Lamps

When I saw this auction for a set of six solar-powered in-ground garden lamps, I decided to join the bidding. Perhaps it’s not such a good idea to write a blog and try to win an auction at the same time. However, after I read the many rave reviews of how well these garden lamps work, I wanted to do more than just write about them. I wanted to win them, too.

It’s always a good idea to have well-lit walkways so we can see where we are going and reduce the risk of falling. That’s especially important for senior citizens.

These garden lamps have a BIN of $115 but several winners won some great bargains. For example:

  • July 21, this set of six solar-powered garden lamps sold at $3.97 and the winner paid a total of $21.19 including the cost of the 101 bids placed;
  • July 18, these garden lamps sold at $1.69 and the winner paid a total of $11.89 including the cost of the 51 bids placed; and
  • July 15, these garden lamps sold at $3.15 and the winner paid a total of $8.75 including the cost of the 28 bids placed.

These garden lamps use energy-efficient LED light bulbs and have a built-in solar-powered rechargeable battery. They are made of durable and weatherproof plastic and have a stainless-steel casing. The automatic light sensors will turn the lamps on at dusk and off again as it lightens. They have a working time of 6 to 8 hours. Each lamp weighs only 5 ounces and installation is simple. Just push the plastic stake into the ground.

Did you see the moissanite gemstone earrings that appear to sparkle like real diamonds? They have a BIN of $1,389.

Some of the best deals previous winners won so far are:

Not everyone received such outstanding deals, but so far all nine of the previous winners paid far less than the BIN. These D-color gemstone earrings measure 12 by 2 mm and consist of 18K white gold plating.  For more specific information, please read the auction description.

The seven previous winners who have provided a review of these earrings have given them an overall rating of 4.82 out of a possible 5.0. They commented on how pretty they are and how much they love them. These beautiful earrings will definitely add a glamorous touch to any special evening dress when attending a concert, play or classy event.

Stainless Steel Men’s Watch

We certainly cannot forget the special man in our lives. The stainless steel men’s watch has a BIN of $1,095 and previous winners gave it an overall rating of 5.0 out of a possible 5.0. It doesn’t get any better than that.

It appears the bidding competition to win this watch can be rather intense. However, some previous winners have managed to win a good deal. The best deals so far are:

  • June 27, this stainless steel men’s watch sold at $23.60 and the winner paid a total of $55.60 including the cost of the 160 bids placed;
  • June 29, this men’s watch sold at $50.15 and the winner paid a total of $168.14 including the cost of the 778 bids placed: and
  • June 25, this men’s watch sold at $50.46 and the winner paid a total of $237.21 including the cost of the 1,123 bids placed.

The length of this watch is 184 mm and the width is 21 mm. The dial color and band color is black and the band material is stainless steel. The dial type is Sunray, movement is 3-hand date quartz, and it is water resistant. The style of this watch appears to be perfect for the personality of a rugged manly-man.
