Are you ruling the auctions on DealDash? If you’re not, then read on for some tips for improvement, from DealDash.
When you think about your time spent on DealDash, are you more likely to think “Yeah, I rule!!” or “Ehhh…I could do better?” If it’s the former, great! If it’s the latter, then you are going to need to work on having a more positive attitude and pay attention to these auction-ruling tips, from DealDash.
Get Your Bids on Sale, Always
I know, I know, DealDash bids are almost always on sale, right? However, there are some days when bids cost .18 each, and there are other days when bids cost .13. If you buy your bids on sale you’re going to have a lot more spending power than someone who didn’t buy their bids at a good price.
Conserve Your Bids – Buy It Now
Buying It Now (BIN) is a great way to conserve your bids. How does BIN work? It’s simple! After you have attempted to win an auction, and you’ve spent as much money on bids as it would be to just buy the item, then it’s time to do a BIN. Doing a BIN just means that you buy the item that you were bidding on for the retail price that’s listed on the auction, and DealDash will give you back all of the bids that you spent on that particular auction. They will also provide you with free shipping on the item in question, as well.
Don’t Stomp, Another Bid-Saving Strategy
Are you familiar with the term “stomping”? When you stomp someone’s bid in a DealDash auction, it means that you bid immediately after someone else. This isn’t very polite, because everyone earns time on the time clock towards free bids for every second that the are the highest bidder in an auction. So when you bid immediately after someone you are cheating them out of their time on the DealDash clock. This isn’t illegal or against the House Rules on DealDash, it just isn’t very kind or polite, and most bidders will let you know their dissatisfaction by stomping right back on YOUR bid. This can turn into a huge waste of bids. Please be polite, and don’t stomp – unless this is your strategy, then “you do you”.
