Bid Buddy Has What You Need at DealDash

DealDash offers a special feature designed to help us win more auctions and it also has the power to give us free bids!  It the wonderful Bid Buddy!  The Bid Buddy is an automatic system of bidding created and provided by DealDash.

It’s a clever way to add the “fair” to their slogan “Fair and Honest Bidding Site”.  By using a Bid Buddy you will only use the number of bids required in order of when you entered the auction.  For example.  Let’s say there are 5 players, and you are using a Bid Buddy, you will only use one bid per round, and Bid Buddy is there to place a bid if someone backs out.  If you don’t use Bid Buddy and instead bid manually, you are placing a bid between each player and this wastes bids because for the same round you will use 6 or 7 bids and everyone else’s one bid.  So you will essentially pay more for the item by using too many bids.  That constant manual bidding also drives up the price, so Bid Buddy helps keep the final price low.

Perhaps the most glorious of this feature is the free bids!  You don’t have to use Bid Buddy to get free bids, you only have to bid, you’ll get them, but if you use Bid Buddy you are assured the full 10 seconds between each players bid.  That time is what clocks up your free bids.  The Free Bid Meter is engaged every time you place a bid and if you are bidding manually chances are there will be another player who will “stomp” on you time.  This is a sad waste of free bids, but some players just can’t resist. It’s usually “Newbies” who do it, they just don’t know how valuable the Bid Buddy is yet, and they may not even know about it.

I didn’t use the Bid Buddy the first few days, but that was so long ago.  Today, I won’t even place one bid without using it….well, I do once in awhile just until I open the auction to place the bids in Bid Buddy.  Even if I’m only using 10 bids, I use it.

So, how do you use it?  You find the auction you wish to join on the main page.  Click the item and the auction will open.  When you get inside, directly in the center of the page there is a space where you place your cursor and click.   Then add the appropriate number of bids and hit “Book Bid Buddy”  This will engage your bids in the auction and all you need to do is keep an eye on it while the auction runs.  Then you hope yours is the last bid.  You can add more bids anytime using the same method and you can also cancel the Bid Buddy at any time.

Use your Bid Buddy all the time, it saves money and helps keep the final price down.  It’s easy to use, saves bids, and defiantly helps you win more auctions.

Good Luck and Happy Bidding!!!

What is Customer Service at DealDash?

If you are wondering if Customer Service is real at DealDash, I can tell you that it is real, alive and well.  The CS support team at DealDash is the best I’ve ever dealt with on the internet.

Very often, when you don’t actually have to talk to someone in the customer service department, they don’t seem to have the same respect or care about your issue.  But, at DealDash, every customer is treated like someone special.  You are what makes the site real.

There are a few ways you can contact Customer Service at DealDash, The quickest and most efficient way is by clicking on the “Contact Support” on the bottom of the main page.  When you do that it will bring you to a link where you can either email support, or the quickest way is by hitting the “online support” this will bring you to a live CS rep and they will do everything they can to help you.

If they can’t or don’t have the authority to fix your problem, they will direct the issue to the proper person.  Any of the Customer Support Representatives at DealDash are kind, helpful and very efficient.

You simply don’t find this everywhere.  I feel like if I am a customer I want to be treated like a customer and not just a number.  I used to have a lot of issues when I first started at DealDash, I blamed DD for every little mistake I made, and they handled every issue with respect and imminency.  They always answered me right away and with kindness.

Lately, I don’t have any complaints because I’ve come to learn that my mistakes are my mistakes.  The DealDash site just does not make any mistakes.  Well, once they had some connection-server issues and they gave me a pile of bid to apologize.  They are very generous, they always think how this could affect us continuing to use the Dealdash site.

They want us back and they will do what is right to fix anything that might come up.  That being said, I never find a problem with the site.

DealDash cares about their customers, they want us to have a wonderful winning experience and they are always there to help.

Don’t underestimate the value of good Customer Service, you will always find it at DealDash!

Tips For Smart Bidding at DealDash

At times we can get a little carried away bidding at our favorite penny auction site, DealDash, it happens to even the best and most seasoned player, but I have a few rules I give myself to avoid using too many bids.

Often I will bid on an item just to exchange for the bids, I have gotten too emotionally involved with these auctions, like I really want the item, but the truth is, I don’t want it, I just want the bids.  So, I avoid getting emotionally involved with this type of auction.  To do that, you have to set limits for yourself, if you decide to use only 25 bids to try to win this $150 item, stick to that.  If you didn’t win the item by then, you’re not getting the deal you want, and what do you do with a bad deal? Walk.

What about an item you really want?  Well you can get emotional about that because you have the power of BIN.  If you don’t win it for the right amount of bids, you purchase the items and get all your bids back.  At least you have your item, and you also have free bids you didn’t have to pay for.  Those bids, although free, have real value at DealDash, so if you used 1000 bids on an items and then purchased the item for bids back, you were just handed 1000 free bids, those bids can be placed on an item you really want and you may over bid with those bids, keep retail in mind if you do this, you don’t want to pay more than retail for the item, that’s foolish, the best time to do this is when the item is being offered during a free sale, where all wins are paid for by DealDash.

Next, bid only on items you really want or have someone in mind to give it too.  If you know your niece will enjoy this lovely necklace for the holidays, then win it.  But if you don’t even know who you’re going to give this item to, don’t try to win it.  IF you get caught up in an auction such as this, you can always exchange for bids.

Pick and choose your times to bid.  Don’t bid when the site is too busy, you can tell this by looking at the number of Avatars in all the auctions.  Go into any auction, start with the $50 items, move up to $100, then $150, then $500….you get it, see how many people are in the auctions by counting the number of Avatars.  I can just look at the group and tell how many players there are, and you will be able to do this eventually too, but in the beginning, the number of players significantly affects your odds and the counting makes you familiar with the group as a whole. Mostly, it’s Saturday and sometimes Friday night.  Also, for some reason Monday is a crazy busy day.

Well, if the site isn’t busy right now, you’ll see me there, otherwise, I’m watching.  You can learn a lot when you watch during busy times, for one, you will see who bids on a lot of items at once.  Who has perseverance, most players come and go during the day, some are there all the time, get to know the difference, that will help you save bids.

My best tidbit of information is just don’t get too emotionally involved in an auction, if you lose it, buy it, if you don’t want to buy it, let it go.  You had a lot of fun trying to win it, and if you didn’t win it. Oh well.

Your DealDash Dashboard – A Helpful Tool

Don’t underestimate the power of your Dashboard.  It’s there and holds certain keys to the questions you have.  It’s much more fun to have all your stats in one place than to have nothing at all.  Your Dashboard has the numbers to help you win.

For example, how many bids did you use on a certain item? You can find that information in your “Bidding History”.  Then you can use this information to help you decide what to do in your next auction.  Perhaps you don’t want to use as many bids, or you think you could have used more bids.  You can also see who you did battle with in the list of Avatars in the auction, find out what the final price was, what sale was available at the time, it’s all good information to help you make an educated guess on your next auction.

Your “Won Auction” is a particularly interesting list.  You can see what you’ve won, and if it’s paid for or shipped, and  whether you exchanged it for bids.  Exchanging for bids is an option DealDash offers if you win an item, and based on its popularity, you will get an exchange, they keep the item and give you X amount of bids.  On average it’s about half, but it can be more or less if the items is very popular, it could be 100% bids, so if the item is $1920 dollars you will receive 1920 bids.  If that same item is not as popular, you may get 960 bids.  That’s not the only factor, others are availability and frequency of offer.

Your “Public Profile” is a useful tool, use it to define your game, encourage others, or perhaps send someone way off target from your bidding style.  There are so many clever profile comments, read a bunch and the right one for you will come.  I like to change my comment often, others have had the same comment as long as I’ve been bidding.  Some use only a dot ( . ) or ( / ).  There are quotes by famous people and snarky comments made up by the players.  Make it fun, you will read it over and over as the auction goes on.

Your “Buy It Now” Tab will let you know if you’ve purchased an item and how many bids you received for your purchase.  You can use this information to see previous thresholds for buying the item.  Hopefully, you didn’t over BIN!

Once you’ve won an auction you can find it directly on the top of your open Dashboard, there you can see all the prizes you have open for purchase, this is also where you can do the exchange for bids if you choose. Just click on the “Pay Now” tab and both options are there to, 1. pay for it or 2. exchange it.

Watch your own stats on your Dashboard and learn from your wins and losses.  This is a convenient tool and DealDash wants you to win, so check your Dashboard often, once in awhile you might open it and see you’ve won a prize and didn’t even know it!

Good Luck and Happy Bidding!!!
