Getting free bids is easy if you follow this DealDash Tips guide to get free bids with Facebook. Read the article, follow the tips, bid for free!

Who doesn’t like free bids? Well, as with in life, few things are 100% free, you have to spend some bids to get some bids! The exception to this, of course, is you can get 3 100% free bids by filling out your little Bio on DealDash. However, even though sometimes you have to spend bids to get bids, it’s still a great deal! This guide to getting free bids with Facebook involves having already won an auction on DealDash.

If you would like to earn free bids, your first step should be to “Like” DealDash’s Facebook page. Click on the link right here.  After you have “Liked” the DealDash Facebook page it’s very simple and easy to earn free bids by sending in photos and videos of you and your wins. Here are the directions:

1.Win an item on DealDash.

2. Take a bright, clear photo with yourself and the item you won.

3. Send the photo as an attachment in the email to [email protected] and add a description that includes the following information: item name, retail price, how much you paid for the item and a personal comment about the win as well, which can be something such as “I won this $175 stand mixer for 110 bids and $6.76, now I can make Christmas cookies!”

The item value determines the amount of free bids that you will receive:

Item value is $199 or above = 350 Free Bids

Item value is $99 to $198 = 225 Free Bids

Item value is less than $99 = 30 Free Bids

As additional motivation to post pictures to Facebook, every Monday, DealDash will select the best picture of the previous week and award a 1,000 Bid Pack to the winner! Depending on the price of bids that day, that’s approximately a $150 value!! The only caveat to this is that the win must be an item that is valued at $99 or more.

There is another way to get free bids with Facebook – by sending DealDash a video of you and your item! Please note that you can get free bids from either a photo or a video each week, not both. If you have the time and a tripod or a friend to make a video, it is definitely worth your while. Here are the free bid reward levels:

Item value $199+ = 250 free bids
Item value $99 to $198 = 125 free bids
Item value less than $99 = 60 free bids

Here are the instructions for sending in a video:

1. Buy a bid pack within the last week, and win an item on DealDash.
2. Take a video using a tripod or a friend, with you holding the item you have won DealDash.
3. Please say the following: what the item is, the retail price and how many bids and how much you paid for the item.
4. Send the video as an attachment via email to [email protected]

Gift Card Tips on DealDash

screenshot-17Gift cards are an extremely popular item on DealDash, why do people like them so much? Well, let me tell you.

For starters, DealDash has an excellent variety of many different types of gift cards. Here is just a quick list of some of the gift cards that DealDash often has up for bid:

  • Toys R Us
  • Bath and Body Works
  • Bass Pro Shops
  • Target
  • Wal*Mart
  • CVS
  • K-Mart
  • Sears
  • Shell gas station
  • Lowe’s
  • Old Navy
  • American Airlines
  • Panera Bread
  • Many, Many, Many more

DealDash keeps up with the changing trends, and even occasionally has gift cards for new online businesses such as Swap.com and EcocentricMom.com – which I have won and enjoyed both. I think that it’s such a great idea for DealDash to pair up with new and small businesses, it’s really win-win-win, for the small business, for DealDash, and for us as customers.

Unfortunately, I have found that the smaller $10 and $25 ones are more difficult to win than the larger $50, $100, and up gift cards. I feel that the reason behind this is that most people don’t mind taking a chance on a $10 or $25 gift card to a restaurant or store that they often go to anyway, such as Panera Bread or Dunkin’ Donuts.

DealDash has a wonderful feature that many people take advantage of called BIN (Buy It Now). That means that if a person doesn’t WIN the gift card outright, then they can always BIN (Buy It Now) and get the gift card, free shipping, and all of their bids back to use on another auction. Not only that, but they get to keep the “clock time” that they gained by bidding on the gift card.

Gift cards obviously make for good gifts, but they have so many other uses as well. Here is a list of some of the different ways that you can use the gift cards that you win or BIN from DealDash:

  1. Rewards for good grades
  2. Allowance money
  3. Budgeting tool so you don’t overspend
  4. Raffle prize
  5. Give as a donation
  6. Teacher appreciation
  7. Back to school shopping – let your teen shop alone without fear of losing the cash
  8. As a “thank you” to postal worker, garbage man, etc.
  9. As a tip at a restaurant
  10. As a way to shop online without using your credit card

I hope that you found this DealDash Tips article helpful. As you can see, there are many reasons to shop for gift cards on DealDash. Visit DealDash now to check out the auctions. Good luck and happy bidding everyone!

Free Bids for Time As High Bidder at DealDash

Everyone loves free bids and DealDash knows this, so they are happy to reward us with bids for every second we are bidding at their site.  As DealDash players we are the luckiest of the penny auction players because the amount of bids you get from DealDash is generous and grows every time your reach your next level.

This is what the Time As Highest Bidder Bar looks like and it’s located on the bottom of your DealDash main page.  This is where you can keep track of all the bids DealDash is going to give you, how much time you have left before you receive it and how many seconds you’ve already bid toward the next level.

Right next to this bar is a meter with the amount of free bids you will receive for your next level,  when you reach it the meter will light up and all you need to do is click the button and Poof! The bids are in your account.  So now if you have done your shopping, you can go place those bids on one item which you can win for the closing price.   Sometimes DealDash offers 50% Off Wins and Free Wins, this is a double win because you not only got all those free bids, you get your item greatly discounted.

So what happens when you bid?  That is the magic, each time you bid a meter ticks up your moments. This clock is best utilized when using Bid Buddy, the automatic bidding system provided by DealDash.  When you use the Bid Buddy every second adds up quickly at first, and the longer you play the more bids you get, but also the meter goes a little slower.  In the beginning you will earn dozens and hundreds of bids, eventually you will earn thousands!! That is a lot of free bids.

Often DealDash will offer a Bid Multiplier, the multiplier adds bids much faster, often 2 times faster, 3 times faster or five times faster!  During these sales there are a lot of players and DealDash will offer extra prizes each minute and sometimes they will also offer 50 at once.  There are plenty of auctions for every one and there is always another one right around the corner.

So, all you need to do to get these Free Bids for your Time As High Bidder (TAHB) is bid.  Just come to DealDash, buy your bid pack and start earning free bids!

Good Luck and Happy Bidding!!!

It’s Party Time at DealDash!

stainless-steel-15-pc-127It’s so much fun to bid at DealDash, so why not get some chores done while you are bidding.  This time of year we Americans do a lot of celebrating and you could find some wonderful deals on the things you need to pull off the best holiday party going!

bakewareDealDash has a nice selection of Pots, Pans and Bakeware.  These are items that come up for auction occasionally, so you have to do your shopping and planning to get involved with the auction.  First search what you are looking for and then use the convenient “Alert Me” tab to have DealDash alert you when the auction is scheduled.  I find, if I can find an item in a search bar, it isn’t long before it does come on the market.  These everyday items are perfect for Binning.  That is the Buy It Now (BIN) promise from DealDash, if you try to win an item, and you don’t win it, you can BIN it and get the bids you used trying. This way you do end up with your item, plus you get the bids back to try to win another item.

kitchenaidDealDash has fair retail prices comparable to the big box stores, and they ship every item for free whether you win it or BIN it…free shipping every time. They also rotate the stock, what you may see today won’t necessarily be available next week.  Items can “run a course” and not return.  Meaning, if they carry the pictured set of pots and pans this month, it may be a different manufacturer next month.

They have a few items that are really popular and they always have them, like the coveted stand mixer in every color under the rainbow. Not only are they wonderful to have, they make a fantastic gift.  I try to win one for all the nieces when they marry.  Needless to say, I’m a pretty popular Auntie. The stand mixer is a tough win, you can win it for less than $10, I see it all the time, but more likely, you will close above $100, that’s 10,000 bids between you and a dozen or so players, so be prepared!

I have experience winning the bakeware too, they can go for few bids, I love to get involved and if I don’t win an item under $150 with a couple dozen bids, I back out and opt to either BIN or forfeit the bids.  It’s ok, there is always the next one.

Good Luck and Happy Bidding!!!
