I do a lot of thinking about DealDash – I think about different strategies, do research on products, compare items, and more. There is so much information that can be learned about DealDash. Read the following tips, and start thinking more about DealDash.

DealDash is the auction site that is always evolving. In my years on the site I have seen a lot of changes. One of my favorite parts of DealDash is the fact that they are constantly switching up their inventory to include new and different items. Some of these items are one-of-a-kind handmade collector pieces that you aren’t able to get just anywhere.

In addition to the rare items, another great thing about DealDash’s inventory is the fact that they often have items up for auction that I was planning on buying anyway, such as pet products and gift-type items such as candles. The best part about bidding on these types of items on DealDash is that if you don’t win you’re able to get all of your bids back if you’re willing to buy the item. And if you were planning on buying something similar anyway, why not?

Using BIN to Get Your Bids Back

Using the Buy It Now (BIN) feature is the way to get all of your bids returned to you if you don’t win an auction. Buying It Now can save you a lot of stress and aggravation when you’re bidding in an auction. If you go into the auction thinking “I’ll just BIN this and get my bids back if I don’t win.” then you are in the right frame of mind to have a fun and stress-free bidding experience.

If you’ve never done a Buy It Now on DealDash, then you’re in for a fast, easy, and fulfilling experience. It only takes about 30 seconds, and you will have all of your bids back that you spent on an auction. The process is simple:

Finish bidding on an item – if you don’t win, then BIN
Look at the auction’s page – you will see a big black box on the right-hand side of the page
In the box, you will see a button that says “Buy this item for ___”
Click the button inside the box
You will be taken to a payment screen
Pay for your item with credit, debit, or even PayPal
See the bids that you spent magically reappear in your account
Wait for your item to arrive (with free shipping!)

This is the best way to keep your bid bank full when using DealDash. There’s no need to buy new bid packs when you receive all of your bids back when you do a BIN! It’s also a great strategy to use because it gives you confidence and a great winning attitude. Think about it!

Some DealDash tips don’t need very much elaboration. These little tidbit tips are great for reading when you don’t have a lot of time. Read on and get some great tips.

We here at DealDash Tips Blog love to write articles for you that are not only informative but also entertaining. However, we also realize that sometimes you don’t have a lot of time to waste and want to get right down to the business of winning auctions. Without further ado, here are some little tidbit tips for you to read when you’re having a time crunch.

Tips for Buying Bids

Buy the largest bid pack that fits within your budget. No matter where you shop, buying in volume always makes sense.
Wait for a sale to buy bids. If the bid price is .17 today, I can almost guarantee it will be lower in the next couple of days.
Don’t wait until you are almost out of bids to buy a bid pack. See the tip above? If you wait until the last second to buy bids you might end up paying a premium for them.

Tips for Choosing an Auction

There are SO many more auctions than the ones just on the main DealDash homepage. Click to the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc. page and see what’s coming up in a few minutes or later on in the day.
Don’t bid from the main homepage. Open up the auction that you want to bid on. You will get valuable information such as who won the item last, and for what price.
Use the categories to browse. If you don’t see anything that you’re interested in bidding on then use the category drop-down menu to get some ideas.
If you don’t see what you want, do a search. DealDash can only show so many future auctions on the main pages. Use the search bar to input exactly what you’re interested in and see if you can find what you’re looking for.

Tips for Bidding

If there are 10+ people in an auction that you’re interested in and it’s nowhere near the $5 No Jumper cutoff, just sit and wait. The likelihood of all 10 bidders going out at the same time is extremely unlikely (but not impossible!) so wait until there are fewer bidders.
Use Your BidBuddy. That’s all there is to it.
Bid up to the BIN (Buy It Now) price, and you can get all of your bids back by purchasing the item.

If you’d like to book a BidBuddy to win a jewelry auction, it’s as easy as just inputting the number of bids you’d like to spend and clicking the “Book a BidBuddy” button and you will be ready to win.

WIN or BIN, Jewelry Makes a Great Gift

Here’s the thing. You need to buy holiday gifts anyway, correct? If you’re definitely going to buy your friend, relative, or co-worker a gift of jewelry then why not bid on them on DealDash? Simply pick your budget, find the jewelry piece that you want to get, and set your BidBuddy for the number of bids that it will take to reach the BIN price.

DealDash Tips That Make Sense

After you’ve been bidding on DealDash for a while there are certain tips that just make sense. Read on to see what these tips are and how to use them.

How long have you been bidding on DealDash? If you just signed up today, great! Welcome to DealDash. However, if you have been bidding on DealDash for a while then you have probably figured out some tips and tricks that just make sense to you. I know I have! Now it’s time to share them. Read this article to get more information on tips that make sense.

Only Bid on Things You Want

Only bid on what you want? What does that mean? It means, of course, that you shouldn’t just be throwing your bids around on anything and everything that you see. That just doesn’t make any sense. For example, I have seen the same bidder bid on 3 different sizes of shoes. That just doesn’t make sense! Of course, they could have been bidding on them for a gift, but I just thought that it was a little odd.

Do keep in mind, though, if you win an item in a certain size you may not swap it for a different size. Personally, I won a sweater a month or so ago. After looking at the size chart I realized that my “regular” size in this sweater wouldn’t fit me, and I emailed customer service to ask if I could swap the size. Unfortunately, they explained that they only have a certain number of each item in each size, so therefore I couldn’t swap. They suggested that I swap my win for bids. This was a fine solution.

When You Want Something, Go Get It!

What I mean by this is that if you see the perfect item for you on DealDash, you should put enough bids in to reach the retail price. Why? Because if you still don’t win the auction after you have put the bids in to reach the price you can always do a BIN, or Buy It Now, and get all of your bids back. You’ll also get free and fast shipping.

For example, I knew that I was getting a kitten. I had been on a waiting list for a particular breed of kitten for 2 years, so I knew that the time was coming. When I saw that DealDash had the Littermaid Self-Cleaning Cat Box, I knew that I would be getting it, whether it was a win or a BIN. This was 100% a product that I had planned on purchasing anyway, so it just made good sense to try as hard as I could to win it. Unfortunately, I wasn’t the winner of the auction, but I was still happy. I was able to do a BIN, get all of my bids back, get free shipping, and keep the clock time that I accumulated while I was bidding. Side note: Best BIN ever!
