Inventory Clearance Items

DealDash.com is featuring a “Winter Liquidation Week.” That means it’s time to eliminate some of the old auction products to make room for some new ones.

We might want to pay attention to the inventory clearance items now marked on DealDash.com because this also means it could be our last opportunity to shop for the items that are now marked for liquidation with a box icon and black and yellow bars.

These items might not be available in future auctions. Therefore, it is important to pay attention to these inventory-clearance items and put them at the top of our shopping list.

Hug-loving bear

If you had your eyes on Barry, the hug-loving bear, it’s time to place your bids on him now or say goodbye.

This bear is not like most other stuffed bears. This bear is huge. Standing height is 51 inches and his sitting height is 31 inches. That explains the BIN of $175.

Some of the brown bear’s special features include large brown eyes, a large button nose and polka dot ribbon. It has a plush polyester exterior. Previous winners love this bear so much they gave him an overall rating of 4.92 out of a possible 5.0.

Chef frypan collection

The chef frypan collection with a BIN of $156 is another action designated for liquidation. The set includes one 8-inch single frypan, one 9.5-inch frypan and one 12-inch frypan.

A few features include a non-stick ceramic coating that prevents food from sticking to these pans and they are dishwasher safe.

Previous winners gave this set of frypans an overall rating of 4.88 out of a possible 5.0. They come in pink and yellow with fabulous wood-look “stay cool” handles. Previous winners rave about how durable and beautiful they are.

I don’t know how many sets are left so I guess it’s a matter of winning this set now or never.

Complete knife collection

These name-brand knives, a very popular DealDash auction, are also designated for clearance – a complete high-quality knife collection with a BIN of $2,236.  Only six of these knife sets are left and then they are gone.

Each set of knives comes in a handcrafted Ash Wood Box. The knife sets include:

  • First Set: One 7-inch Vegetable knife, one 8.5-inch Slicing knife, and one 5-inch Utility knife;
  • Second Set: One 7.5-inch Cleaver;
  • Third Set: One 10-inch Chef knife, one 5.5-inch Utility knife and a Wooden Display Stand;
  • Fourth Set: One 7-inch Santoku knife;
  • Fifth Set: One 7.5-inch Deba and one 10-inch Yanagiba;
  • Sixth Set: One 6.5-inch Boning knife, one 9.5-inch Kiritsuke knife;
  • Seventh Set: One 13-inch Yanagiba knife (one of the longest blades ever made; and
  • Eighth Set: One set of four 5-inch Steak knives (double bevel blades).

Many of the previous winners wrote in the reviews they won a set for themselves and loved these knives so much they also got another set for family members, often for wedding gifts.

Many other auctions are designated as part of the DealDash Winter Clearance, too. Hopefully, we will all win the auctions of our choice before they are all gone.

Happy shopping everyone!

Shopping for Computer Glasses

Do you regularly check out the new items going up for auction on DealDash.com?

One exciting new item on DealDash is computer glasses. If you have not yet seen them in the auctions, you might want to check them out.

With the right eyewear, you can enjoy surfing your favorite websites and keep your eyes safe at the same time.

Wearing a pair of computer glasses to protect our eyes from harmful blue light could make a bigger difference to our eye health than we realize. The only problem with new items is that we cannot see customer reviews because they take a while to show up.

Blue light blocking computer glasses

I believe we all agree how important it is to protect our eyes from harm. After all, we only get one good set of eyes to use for the rest of our lives. However, many of us might not know much about protecting our eyes from harmful blue light emitted from our computer screens.

It is now considered to be essential for anyone using an electronic device daily to wear computer glasses. Therefore, it makes good sense to check them out.

Note that DealDash offers a variety of auctions for computer glasses and they all come in sets of 5 but with a variety of different frames. According to the auction descriptions, they are all anti-scratch, anti-reflective, anti-screen flicker, anti-glare and anti-fog computer glasses. They also block 100 percent of harmful UVA and UVB light, and according to all three computer descriptions these computer glasses have 50 percent blue light blocking technology that blocks the most harmful blue light.

One difference is that the computer glasses come with three different price ranges – a BIN is $150; $200 and $275.  Let’s take a look at them.

Computer Glasses with a BIN of $150 (solid black frames)

 Jan. 21, the first auction for these computer glasses sold at $1.13 and the winner paid a total of $1.51 including the cost of the 7 bids placed.

Computer Glasses with a BIN of $200 (tortoiseshell pattern frames)

 Jan. 21, the first auction sold at $11.03 and the winner paid a total of $95.50 including the cost of the 472 bids placed. One way these computer glasses differ is that they have a +3.00 magnification. They are “made from polycarbonate for maximum durability without sacrificing all day comfort.”

Computer Glasses with a BIN of $275 (wire frame design)

  Jan. 21, the first auction sold at $3.02 and the winner paid a total of $15.70 including the cost of the 77 bids placed.

The bottom line

All of the computer glasses provide protection against eye fatigue and relief from long-term eye strain caused by excess electronic device use. Smart phones, tablets, laptops and desktop computers reflect harmful types of blue light that can cause users to have trouble sleeping. Wearing these computer glasses could immediately make a positive difference.

Snug as a Bug

Did you see the coat auctions on DealDash.com? These coats are sure to keep anyone as snug as a bug.

I get cold very easily and I’m constantly striving to stay warm. That’s why I prefer warm-weather climates to cold-weather climates. That’s also why the elegant and warm coats now listed on DealDash immediately caught my attention. Let’s take a look.

Rabbit fur coats

According to the auction description, this fully-lined coat shell is 100 percent polyester and the shell is 100 percent rabbit fur exterior. Another great feature is that this lightweight but durable coat has a drawstring at the waist which provides the option of making it form fitting or wearing it loose. While it looks glamourous, it is also practical, and can be used when dressing up or down. For more detailed information, see the auction description.

When I first saw the rabbit fur coats come with a BIN of $2,752.00 I hesitated to place any bids because I did not think I would ever have enough bids to win such a high-dollar item – Wrong!

After taking a closer look, I noticed several DealDash shoppers were able to win this rabbit fur coat at huge bargain prices, using as few as only 9 bids. For example:

  • Jan. 5, this fur coat sold at 58 cents and the winner paid a total of $2.78 including the cost of the 11 bids placed;
  • Jan. 6, this fur coat sold at $3.92 and the winner paid a total of $2.78 including the cost of the 9 bids placed;
  • Jan. 14, this fur coat sold at $1.84 and the winner paid a total of $9.38 including the cost of the 46 bids placed; and
  • Jan. 19, this fur coat sold at $3.56 and the winner paid a total of $3.98 including the cost of the 11 bids placed.

This rabbit fur coat does not yet have customer reviews.

Wool Jackets

Everybody knows that wool is warm. According to the auction description, these 100 percent high-grade Alpaca wool jackets are also fully lined with soft polyester and they feature two deep pockets. For more detail, see the auction description.

These jackets have a BIN of $1,600.00 and I did not believe I would have enough bids to win this jacket either. However, other past winners were able to win with a fairly small number of bids, so why not me, too. For example:

  • Jan. 16, this wool jacket sold at $2.48 and the winner paid a total of $21.05 including the cost of the 104 bids placed;
  • Jan. 5, this wool jacket sold at $1.79 and the winner paid a total of $12.79 including the cost of the 55 bids placed; and
  • Dec. 30, 2022, this wool jacket sold at $1.59 and the winner paid a total of $7.99 including the cost of the 36 bids placed.

Therefore, it is also possible to win this high-dollar wool jacket at a bargain price, too. We just need to keep an eye on this wool jacket and bid when the competition is low. So I’ll see you in the auctions.

Shopping for a Canvas Knife Roll

I don’t know why I never before saw the knife roll that can contain up to six professional knives.

This auction has obviously been on DealDash.com for a long time because it has already received 141 customer reviews. After receiving that many reviews and still maintain an overall score of 4.83 out of a possible 5.0 is really good.

At first I was surprised to see the BIN of $185 for this knife roll until I realized it does not include the 6 knives. It’s important to read the description carefully so we know the knives are sold separately.

Nonetheless, this high-quality knife-roll is handcrafted from heavy duty canvas and takes up less space than a knife box. The weight of the knife roll is 1-pound without the knives.

A chef proudly displays a pair of knives.
Every top chef should have a quality knife roll in their collection.

                                                                                                                                                                                                              So far, many previous visitors received awesome deals. For example:

  • Jan. 10, this knife roll sold at 16 cents and the winner paid a total of only $1.36 including the cost of the 6 bids placed;
  • Jan. 12, this knife roll sold at $1.46 and the winner paid a total of $7.46 including the 30 bids placed; and
  • Jan. 13, this knife roll sold at $1.15 and the winner paid a total of $3.95 including the 14 bids placed.

The heavy-duty black canvas roll measures 17-inches by 5-inches when rolled up and 17-inches by 16-inches when open.

Brief knife roll history

A knife roll is a transportation device where we can carry our kitchen knives from place to place without worrying about them knocking against each other or becoming damaged

According to my research, a knife roll is the best option for knife storage and accessibility for a chef, and the best knife roll for chefs is one that is durable and won’t get punctured by freshly sharpened knives

Leather knife rolls usually contain additional pockets for tools such as meat thermometers, kitchen shears and other accessories.
