Watch for a Watch!

DealDash.com consistently has many high end watches for sale, and nearly all past winners wound up getting great bargains. Looking at the data provided, it appears that customers who shop for watches on DealDash have an excellent opportunity to get amazing deals.

Let’s take a look at some examples:

Men’s Watches

  • One high-end men’s watch comes with rose gold or ash silver dial and black leather band and has a BIN of $1,500. So far in 2022, this watch has gone up for auction 20 times and all 20 winners won a huge bargain.  In fact, one winner won it for only 18 cents (82 cents counting the 4 bids the winner used). Overall, 16 of the last 20 winners had a closing price of less than $50 and 4 of the 20 winners got it for less than $30 counting the cost of bids. No one would ever be able to find deals like these in any department store.
  • Another men’s watch with an automatic silver dial has a BIN of $652. So far in 2022 this watch has gone up for auction four times and all four winners got a bargain price. On Jan. 5, 2022, it closed at $9.59 and the winner got it for a total of $43.19 (counting the cost of the 168 bids used to win it).

Women’s Watches

I often see women’s watches with a “mother of pearl” dial,

  • A mother of pearl, South-Sea white ladies’ watch has a BIN of $1,500. So far (as of this writing) this watch went up for auction five times in 2022 and all five times the winners won a great bargain.  On Jan. 8, 2022, the auction closed at $9.22 and the winner paid a total of $63.32 (including the cost of the 312 bids used to win it).
  • A women’s Fiore Studs gold watch with a white strap has a BIN of $1,295. So far, this watch has gone up for auction eight times in 2022 and all eight winners won a great bargain. In fact, on Jan. 9, 2022, the auction sold for only $2.61 and the winner got it for a total of $18.21 (including the cost of the 78 bids placed to win it).

Full Description

No Exchange Auctions

Question: What are No Exchange auctions on DealDash.com?

Answer: They are auctions where the exchange to bids option is removed and the winner of these auctions will have no choice but to receive the auction product they win.

Inventory Liquidation Week will begin Wednesday, Jan. 19 and will run through Saturday, Jan. 22.  During this time, the “Liquidation Blasts” will be for items DealDash wants to get moving out of their warehouse.

In other words, if you bid on auction products with the idea that you just intend to exchange the auction item for bids, the Inventory Liquidation Week event would not work for you because you will not be able to do that.

A man holds up an auction sign indicating he places a bid during a live auction.
No Exchange Auctions bring a new element to the DealDash auctions.

However, it may be the best time for other DealDash customers to shop for two reasons:

  1. It might be our best opportunity to shop for and win products that are being liquidated, and
  2. It could be easier to win the product when shoppers who just want to do a bid exchange will not compete.

The “Liquidation Blast” events will take place at the following times:

  • Jan. 19 – 8 a.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.
  • Jan. 20 – 8 a.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.
  • Jan. 21 – 8 a.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.
  • Jan. 22 – 12 p.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.
  • Jan. 23 – 12 p.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.

During these times bid exchanges will not be available.

In addition, other DealDash features will include:

  • Jan. 19 – 50 percent off, plus 2X time as highest bidder and BIN discounts
  • Jan. 20 – 50 percent off and BIN discounts
  • Jan. 21 – 50 percent off, plus 2X time as highest bidder and BIN discounts
  • Jan. 22 – 90 percent off, plus 3X time as highest bidder and BIN discounts
  • Jan. 23 – 90 percent off and BIN discounts.

Inventory Liquidation Week

As you can see, the Inventory Liquidation Week will offer many great features that could benefit us in more ways than one.

If we like getting 90 percent off on the final sales price in the auctions, we will not want to miss shopping during those features.

If we are getting close to collecting our free bids, we will want to take full advantage of the 2X and especially the 3X time as highest bidder on the clock.

Regardless of what feature we most want to take advantage of shopping during the Inventory Liquidation Week will no doubt be one of our most fun and interesting five days of shopping.  Therefore, if we have any friends who have not yet shopped on DealDash.com now is an excellent time to invite them to join.

I’ll see you all there!

Why You Need to Check Product Reviews

Before placing bids on various products on DealDash.com do you ever read the product reviews first?

Actually, it’s a good idea to read the product reviews before we shop because we can learn a lot from what previous winners have to say about it.

A woman uses her cell phone to read online customer reviews.
Product reviews are a fantastic way to learn more about an item, store, or service.

Some things we can learn from the reviews are:

  • Did previous winners like it (why or why not)?
  • If it’s a clothing item or shoes, was the size just right or did it run too small or too big?
  • How long did the product take to ship?
  • Was the item packed well and arrive in good shape?

All of these things are important to know. By doing our homework before shopping, we can save ourselves from the time and effort of returning items that do not fit properly. At the same time we can save the customer service representatives from having to solve problems that could have and should have been easily prevented in the first place.

Of course, DealDash customer service representatives are always more than willing to help us solve any problems with the products we win or order. However, as responsible shoppers we should do our part by using all of the information available to us.

Of course, DealDash provides excellent and very detailed descriptions of its auction products. Therefore, we may think that’s all the information we need to have a happy shopping experience. However, that may not be enough. Reading the product reviews from previous customers who won or ordered the product often gives us additional information that could be very helpful.

Let me give you some examples:

  • Size 8 Duck Boots –. Looking at the customer reviews, one customer wrote: “Looked at other reviews before getting them and saw that they run small. It’s true. I got a size bigger and they are snug. I do like them a lot and I’m happy I ordered them but remember to order a size bigger.”
  • Size L/XL Yellow Unisex Raincoat – Looking at the customer reviews, one customer wrote: “I love this jacket. It runs a little large.” Another customer agreed, writing, “Super big!” So that tells us a lot about the size. Yet another customer wrote, “What a great coat! It is supple and extremely well made. I’m impressed with it! Better than I expected!” So this tells us a lot about the quality of the raincoat.
  • King set of White Sheets – Looking at the customer reviews, first I see that these sheets received an overall rating of 4.94 out of a possible 5.0 and this is an extremely high rating after 40 customer reviews. So that tells us a lot about the high-quality of this set of sheets. One customer wrote, “Soft and smooth, breathe well and sleep cool.” That tells us even more about the quality of these sheets. Another customer agrees by saying, “This whole set is amazing. I had previously won just the duvet and I love it …”

Bottom Line

Taking a few minutes to read customer reviews before we start shopping can really pay off in big dividends for us as customers as well as the DealDash customer support team.

Perhaps we could make that one of our New Year’s resolutions to be diligent and responsible shoppers by reading all of the information available to us. I’m sure that would give us a happy shopping experience throughout 2022.

Clean Start to The New Year

Here’s a question for you: What’s a household chore most of us must do nearly every day? The answer? Vacuum. Now, name one tool that could make this job a lot easier?

If our response to that question is a robotic self-cleaning or cordless vacuum cleaner, we are shopping in the right place because DealDash.com auctions offer both, and even more.

A cat seems a bit confused by a robot vacuum cleaner.
Maybe your robot vacuum will not just clean, but also entertain some members of your household!

I’ve had my eyes on shopping for a cordless vacuum for a long time because that would make cleaning my two flights of stairs a lot easier. Otherwise, I need a really long cord to reach the electrical socket in my wall and the cord keeps getting in the way.

As I get older, I need to think more about safety. A light-weight cordless vacuum would be better so I don’t trip on the cord and fall down the stairs.

Let’s take a look at some of the vacuums that DealDash has to offer.

Cordless Vacuum

DealDash has a cordless vacuum with a BIN of $550.00 but all 12 of the most recent winners got it for amazing bargain prices. In fact, one DealDash shopper won this cordless vacuum on Dec. 21, 2021, for a total cost of only $8.55 (including the cost of the 38 bids the winner placed).

We could never find a bargain like that on a brand new rechargeable cordless vacuum at any department store. For more information, go to the upper right of the home page, do a search for “cordless vacuum” and read all about it.

Robotic Self-Cleaning Vacuum

DealDash has a robotic self-cleaning vacuum cleaner that has a BIN of $591.00 but one previous winner got it for $32.17 (including the cost of the 77 bids placed). In spite of the fact that this robotic self-cleaning vacuum is a popular item and usually draws plenty of competition, many other shoppers won it at a bargain price below market value, too.

During my younger days, I never could have dreamed that such a revolutionary vacuum would ever exist. According to the DealDash description, this vacuum “can navigate the home while keeping track of where it has been and where it has yet to clean. It will even clean continuously for up to 75 minutes, then recharges and resumes cleaning until the job is done.” Amazingly, it even has “cliff detect sensors” that prevents it from “falling down stairs or tumbling over drop offs.”

DealDash has another Robotic Self-Cleaning Vacuum with a BIN of $210.00 and this one sold for as little as $9.95 (counting the cost of the 16 bids the winner placed).

To find out when the next robotic self-cleaning vacuums will go up for auction, conduct a search from the home page. You can also go to the auctions to read a more detailed description of the many features that are too numerous to include here.

Both of the Robotic Self-Cleaning vacuums received an overall high rating by previous winners. After reading these descriptions I may want to get one of these vacuums, too.

Canister Vacuum Cleaner

DealDash also has a Canister Vacuum Cleaner with a BIN of $320.00 but on Jan. 1, 2022, one shopper won it for only $4.11 (counting the 20 bids placed to win it).

At only 8.8 pounds this is a light-weight Canister Vacuum Cleaner. It comes with a 16.4-foot cord and three cleaning attachments – floor nozzle, crevice tool and upholstery brush. One of the greatest features of this vacuum is that it comes with “no extra costs” because it uses “bagless technology and (has a) fully washable canister.” This could be a real budget saver.

To choose the right vacuum for your household, go to the auction to read the full DealDash descriptions. Also, do not forget to read the customer reviews.

Bottom Line

With all of the awesome vacuum cleaners available on DealDash.com I hope we all get off to a clean sweep and a clean start in the New Year!
