April Celebrations Are Here

I was surprised to see that Easter was in March this year, instead of April, but we still have many other designated special celebrations that are celebrated in April.

Did you know that April is National One-Cent Day? That reminds me of DealDash.com because we can actually win an auction for as little as one cent. It does not happen very often, but it still does happen.

Did you know each month highlights and celebrates many different events we might not know about such as Fun Day? We could celebrate that by designating one day in April to all do something fun, such as shop on DealDash because that sure is fun. LOL!

We probably know about April Fools Day, but most people probably do not know April is also Walk to Work Day, National Garden Month, National Pajama Day, Adopt a Shelter-Pet Day and National Siblings Day. I guess this last one means April is a good time to make a special effort to get in touch with our siblings.

Some events celebrated in April revolve around food, too, such as National Burrito Day, National Sourdough Bread, National Peanut Butter & Jelly Day, National Coffee Cake Day, National Chocolate Mouse Day, National Deep Dish Pizza Day and even Oatmeal Cookie Day.

Being a book lover and avid reader, I think my favorite celebrations in April are National Library Day and National Poetry Month. In fact, I have a few books that still go up for auction on DealDash and one of them is half-full of my poetry.

To celebrate the many food items we could shop for kitchen and baking items such as mixers, pots and pans, knives, silverware, and cutting or chopping boards. DealDash has it all.

To celebrate National Garden Month, we could look for gardening tools and other outdoor auction items. Let’s take a look at some of those auctions on DealDash.

Socket and Bit Set

I see a 37-piece 1/4th inch socket and bit set, with a BIN of $200. What I love about this set is that the bits are color-coded and that makes it so much easier to use. This set is smaller than some previous winners expected but otherwise well made. The dimensions with the case are 6 ½ inches by 2 ½ inches by 1 ¾ inches (folded), and the net weight is 1.13 pounds.

Some of the best deals DealDash shoppers won so far were:

  • March 13, this auction closed at $1.45 and the winner paid a total of $7.45 including the cost of the 30 bids placed;
  • March 8, this auction sold at $2.07 and the winner paid a total of $7.47 including the cost of the 27 bids placed; and
  • March 7, this auction sold at $1.03 and the winner paid a total of $5.43 including the cost of the 22 bids placed;

For more information and details of what this set includes, see the auction information.

Electric Patio Table Heater

An Electric Patio Table Heater has a BIN of $840.  After 142 reviews previous winners gave this table heater an overall rating of 4.91 out of a possible 5.0 which is extremely high and speaks volumes of the quality of this auction product.

So far, the best deals previous shoppers won on this Patio Table Heater were:

  • March 11, this table heater sold at $1.53 and the winner paid a total of $6.53 including the 25 bids placed and
  • March 1, this table heater sold at $13.15 and the winner paid a total of $33.15 including the cost of the 100 bids placed.
