If you ever wonder about the competition, and you should…the best way for you to compete is to keep an eye on them. In the game of DealDash, there is real competition and there are some “impostors”. An impostor is a player who makes good use of his opponents user name by copying it. For example, let’s say you know “KealeyDan” (made up name) is a horrible steadfast and true player, possibly even an over bidder, then suddenly a guy named “KeeleyDan” or “KealeyDon” shows up, the second guy has watched his opponent and has copied his name therefore hijacking his reputation. it’s a strategy, but the second player will get found out because he is not steadfast and true. DealDash checks the user names regularly to make sure that impostors don’t copy other users’ names, so please report this to the awesome DealDash Customer Support team if you find them!
That is just the beginning of why you should know the competition. Once you follow a few auctions, you will find that the same people consistently over bid or win at all costs. This win should not be on your back, so if you have been in an auction and you see that “so and so” is in there, wait until they leave and then come back. You may lose to him, but the good news is he has one less win in his 9 win limit this week. Once that player has hit the limit, they are gone. I will often let a player win if they are near their limit just to get rid of them!
The best reason for following the competition is that there are many, many players that bow out very early in an auction. You can count on that often, you just need to learn who they are. You do that by playing consistently. I can’t give away any names because that wouldn’t be fair, but trust me, there are a lot of people who give up. I do it, but it depends on the item and the value of the item. I like to play daily, that’s not always possible, but it is one way to learn quickly.
The good news is, there is always time to learn. No matter how long you have been playing, you will learn the competition, and we are always there because we love Deal Dash so much! I never go to the mall because I just don’t care to shop that way. Everything I ever need I find at Deal Dash, in fact, I often find things I didn’t even know I wanted, and best of all, I find things for gifts for people who I have no idea what to get them for a gift and then suddenly, I have the perfect gift!
No matter if you are a newbie or a seasoned player, you need to know your competition. It’s the best way to predict if you could win or simply should give up. Don’t be afraid to say…”I’m done, go ahead player X, have it. If you do you will feel relieved when you’ve realized so- and- so over bid, 5 players went with them and you went on to win 2 other prizes in different auctions! Win, Win!
Another sure thing about the competition, they are always there! It’s what makes DealDash fun and a challenge at the same time. We are all there for the same reason, to find a good deal, a great and interesting item and have fun doing it.
