Tips You Need to Know on DealDash

Sure, you could just jump right into bidding on DealDash but it’s better to be prepared. Here are some handy tips and tricks from DealDash to get you started.

DealDash is easy and fun to use, but there are some bidders on there who have been bidding since the beginning and know absolutely everything about DealDash, how it works, when and how to bid, and all of the tricks. Signing up and bidding right away might seem like a fun idea, and you can do that. After you have done all of those things, then you can check out the different product categories.

Fashion, Health, and Beauty – This particular category always has hair dryers, flat iron hair straighteners, and other beauty items as well as massage chairs, foot massagers, jewelry, and designer bags.
Gift Cards – There are no real surprises in the Gift Card section. There are gift cards such as Toys R Us, Bath and Body Works, Bass Pro Shops, Target, Wal*Mart, CVS, and many more.
Hobbies, Toys, Outdoors, and Games – Here is where you will find classic favorites such as bikes, grills, luggage, baby items, and Lego sets.
Home, Garden, and Tools – This section has garden hoses, tool sets, and vacuum cleaners as well as high-end designer furniture and accessories.
Kitchen and Dining – Here you will find pots and pans, bamboo spoon sets, cutlery sets, stand mixers, and even fancy knife sets.

So you’ve acquainted yourself with the website, you’ve checked out the categories, now it’s time to bid! Be sure that you select something that you would choose to buy anyway, and bid it up to the purchase limit! DealDash Tips: Common Mistakes Newbies Make

When you first start playing on DealDash, it is easy to get caught up in the excitement of the competition and the chance to win great bargains. The last thing you might do is to stop, watch, read and learn how to play smart. Only the players who do just that, however, are most likely the ones who win the most auctions, using the least amount of bids and spending the least amount of money.

Some of the most common mistakes newbies make are:

Buying bids at full price instead of waiting for them to go on sale
Bidding from the home page and not allowing the automated bidder, BidBuddy, to place your bids for you.
Bidding in too many auctions at the same time
Bidding when you are too tired or too busy doing other things
Bidding with experienced power bidders that you have slim to no chance to beat
Bidding on items you don’t really need
Not knowing when to stop and over-spending your budget
Not knowing how to use the BIN (Buy-It-Now) option

Tips for Beginners on DealDash

We were all DealDash beginners once. Here are some tips to get the ultimate beginner started.

How long have you been bidding on DealDash? If it’s a couple of months or less, then you’re still a beginner! If you’re having a little bit of trouble winning auctions, no problem. You probably just haven’t realized all of the tips and tricks that you need to pay attention to that will give you success on DealDash. Everyone was new once, even the Power Bidders that you see winning thousands of dollars in merchandise. Here are some tips to get you started.

Don’t Overpay for Bids

When you first started, your original bid pack included bids that were .60 a piece. Now that you have already purchased your first bid pack, wait for a sale to replenish your bids. Unless it’s a major DealDash emergency, I never buy bids if they are over .14. This means that I have to plan ahead and be sure that I am buying the biggest bid pack that fits into my budget when I see bids for .13 or .14 per bid. If you have been overpaying for bids, be sure that stops today.

When You Don’t WIN, then BIN

Sometimes even the best of us lose! It makes sense to bid on things that you would buy at the store anyway such as a kitchen or everyday household item you can BIN (Buy It Now) them for retail value when you lose. You will also get free shipping on these items, and you will not be losing any money. Think of the BIN as your safety net for DealDash – You can never lose if you plan on BINning the item anyway.

Trust me, if you just start bidding all over the place, a bid, bid here and a bid, bid there, you’re not going to be as successful as if you picked an item, did the research, and planned out your bidding strategy.

Read the Reviews

You might have noticed the product reviews on DealDash. These reviews are made by other bidders just like you. Sometimes there are multiple different items that are similar that you need to decide between before you start bidding. Some examples of this are grills, outdoor toys, and gardening supplies.
