A common myth surrounding DealDash is that it costs money to join. This actually isn’t true. It costs money to bid on the auctions, but if you just want to look around it’s free. You can take a look around, see the items up for auction, and many other things without being logged-in or even having a DealDash account, and that’s a fact. If you want to bid, however, you will have to buy the bids.

Is DealDash Full of Experienced Bidders?

Another common myth that you might head about DealDash is that it’s full of experienced bidders. This can sound a little intimidating to someone who has never bid in an online auction before. The good news is that this is just a myth. While it’s true that there are experienced bidders, there are also thousands and thousands of newbies as well. There are new members every single day. No matter how inexperienced you are today, you will still have more knowledge and be more experienced than someone who joins tomorrow or next week.

If I lose an Auction Do I lose All of My Bids?

With many pay-to-bid auction sites, yes, you do lose your bids if you lose the auction. However, with DealDash this is actually a myth! If you have bid on an auction and you don’t win you can get all of your bids back if you buy the item at the retail Buy It Now (BIN) price. For example, if you were bidding on a $10 gift card, and you spent 100 bids and still didn’t win you can get your 100 bids returned to you. Simply hit the BIN button, pay the $10 for the gift card, and you will get back your 100 bids. They will even ship it for free!

See What the Hot Category is Today

How do you figure out what everyone wants to bid on today? By checking out the Winner’s Tab. If you haven’t been visiting the Winner’s Tab on a daily basis, then you might have been wasting some wins in a different category that you could have been getting. Most days, there is a category that people are more interested in than others, and you can easily see what categories are hot (or not) by checking the Winner’s Tab and seeing what price items are selling for.

For example, if you go to the Winner’s Tab and see that jewelry is going for less than $1 today, then you probably want to hop yourself on over to the jewelry category and get bidding. Alternately, if you see that home decor items are going for near the retail price, then you probably want to pick a different category to bid on that day.

Not Your Best Bidding Day?

No matter how skilled you are in bidding on auctions, everyone has an “off” day sometimes. To be honest, sometimes that off day can stretch longer into an off week! However, if you are having a tough time in the auctions, you can rest assured that you can receive all of your bids back from DealDash.

If you are having a tough time and don’t win the auction, you can always do a BIN, or Buy It Now, and get all of your bids back. You’ll also get free and fast shipping. Everyone knows that DealDash is the best place to score new jewelry, electronics, and home decor items. However, DealDash isn’t magic, you have to think about how you’re bidding and pay attention to the other bidders that are participating in the auction with you. Get to Know Your Fellow Bidders

No, you don’t have to get to know all of the millions of bidders on DealDash, but if you pay close attention you will see the same bidders over and over again, especially if you participate in a particular category on a regular basis. For example, I am a big fan of jewelry, so I often participate in jewelry and beauty auctions. However, I am not much for bidding on bid packs, and there are many bidders who seemingly only bid on bid packs, so I don’t need to pay them any mind because we will rarely cross paths in an auction. If you pay attention to the other bidders in your favorite types of auctions you will start to recognize them and their bidding styles. Take notes.

Get More Bidding Power With Free Bids

If you want to get your next big score with a little bit of help from DealDash you’ll definitely want to take advantage of the free bids that DealDash offers. There are many different ways to earn free bids from DealDash, and by far the easiest way is to simply log in every day and place a few bids. If you are able to remember to log in every single day for a week you will get thirty free bids for every day after that that you remember to log in and bid. This is a huge benefit to being a regular DealDash bidder. Personally, I have received hundreds of free bids from DealDash for just logging in.
