Using the App from the January 29th Blog

The theme of January 29th’s blog was using the DealDash app. The top tip of that blog was listing all of the benefits of using the DealDash app. The list included:

  • View all upcoming auctions
  • Browse through categories
  • Place single bids on auctions
  • Set up BidBuddies on auctions
  • Pay for auctions
  • Pay for BINs (Buy It Now)
  • Setting up your avatar

If you’d like to read that blog in its entirety, just click this link right here and you can check it out. Or, skip the blog and just download the free app at this link right here.

Check Out the New Sparklies from the January 30th’s Blog

The blog on January 30th was about all of the new and interesting jewelry choices DealDash. There were a few good tips in there, but the tip to remember from that blog was about the new earrings. Have you ever seen asymmetrical earrings? From that blog:

“The way that Alert Me works is simple. Just do a search in the DealDash search bar for the auction that you want, and it will come up. If there is no auction for the item currently scheduled, then you can click the button that says Alert Me, and DealDash will send you an email when there has been an auction scheduled for the item.”

One-Of-A-Kind Pieces from January 31st’s Blog

January 31st’s blog was all about new home decor items and ways to save on DealDash. The top tip of that blog was to check out the new one-of-a-kind pieces on DealDash. These items are handmade and beautiful. “Wow” your guests when they visit your home. From the blog:

“One of my favorite parts of DealDash is the fact that they are constantly switching up their inventory to include new and different items. Some of these items are one-of-a-kind handmade collector pieces that you aren’t able to get just anywhere.”

Tips for new bidders from the February 1st Blog

There was a lot of information for new bidders in the February 1st blog. Theresa wrote many great tips that a newbie should know, but this one is invaluable for a new bidder:

“DealDash makes it easy for new bidders to learn what they need to know through their How it Works tab. Within this section you will find many sections on how to get started, a fantastic tutorial and tips and tricks. ”

Tips to Learn About Other DealDash Bidders

DealDash

What’s between you and an auction win? The other bidders. Here’s how to learn more about them, from DealDash.

The DealDash community is just like your local community – there are lots of different people from all walks of life, and they all do things differently. If you are able to learn more about them then you will have a better chance of being able to be the winner in an auction. There are a few different ways that you will be able to learn about the other bidders. Read on for more information down below, from DealDash.

Read Their Bidder Bio

Everyone has a bidder that they can fill out. Basically, you can write a couple of sentences of your choosing for the other bidders to read. Some people like to write about their families, their pets, their jobs, or their hobbies. Other people like to write more “challenging” messages such as “I will never quit bidding” or “I’ll bid until I have to BIN.” These messages may or not be true, of course!

Personally, I find that when people write more personal messages about their family or pets that it provides a lot more insight. For example, if “Granny2018” writes in her bidder bio that she is expecting her first grandchild in the beginning of 2018 I would know that she is most likely going to be bidding on baby items, and probably going to end up doing a BIN (Buy It Now) on them. This is because she needs the baby items for her first grandchild, and she probably doesn’t already own these items since it’s her first grandchild. And since she has to buy them anyway, she will probably bid all the way to the BIN price. So in this example, I probably wouldn’t even bother to throw in more than a few bids, because I would feel pretty sure I wouldn’t be able to get a quick win.

Look at Their Start Date

You can see when each and every bidder started on DealDash. While this isn’t a huge insight into their bidding habits, you can get a feel for if this bidder knows all of the tips and tricks like you do, or if they are making some newbie mistakes. I find that a lot of newbie bidders are extremely surprised to find that auctions can last not only hours but sometimes even days on higher priced items.  If it’s just down to me and a newer bidder that has just started, I would probably go ahead and keep bidding a little bit longer than if it was a more seasoned player. Of course, just because someone has just started on DealDash it doesn’t mean that they haven’t been bidding elsewhere and know what they’re doing.

Feel Lonely? Not With DealDash Tips Here!

DealDash

You never have to feel lonely when you’re bidding because DealDash Tips is here to support you. Let’s read on, together…

There are many things in life that you have to do alone – but learning about DealDash isn’t one of them. When you get a new hobby many times you have to sit alone and read books about your hobby or watch a video about your hobby. However, with DealDash Tips we are always here to give you handy advice, answer questions, and we even take requests on topics that you want to see these articles cover. Read on for more information, from DealDash.

You’re Not the Only Newbie

When you get started with DealDash it’s important to remember that you aren’t alone. You are definitely not the only newbie that started that week or even that day. You might be surprised to know that DealDash has over 8 million registered users. So even though it might feel like you are the only newbie when you see people bidding with bios from 2014 or 2015, there are thousands of people who just started using DealDash this year, so you aren’t alone in not knowing exactly what’s going on.

The Tutorial is Your Guiding Light

The DealDash tutorial will keep you company through your first auction. The tutorial is not a real auction, of course, and the bidders are not real people. However, you will feel like you have company when you see the other pretend bidders bidding. The tutorial is great for newbies because it tells you what to do, and also tells you what the other pretend bidders are doing.

Your BidBuddy is Your Friend ‘Til the End

Using the BidBuddy is the number one way to not feel like you are alone when you are bidding in auctions. He might not be a real person, but he is an excellent companion. If you haven’t met the BidBuddy yet, he is a useful tool that DealDash gives (free of charge) to everyone, in every auction. You can put in as many or as few bids as you like. You can cancel it or add more bids at any time. Your BidBuddy will take turns bidding with the other BidBuddies that are set until there are no more bids placed from BidBuddies or other bidders. After the last bid has been placed, that person (or BidBuddy) is the winner.

You Didn’t Know THAT About DealDash?!

DealDash

What are some things that you were surprised to learn about DealDash? Here are a few things that you may or may not know…

It’s uncommon to know everything that there is to know about DealDash, pay-to-bid auctions, and entertainment shopping. Even as a long-time DealDash player there is occasionally a new fact that I will discover about DealDash that I didn’t know before. Here are a few things that you might not know about DealDash. Read on for more tips and information.

Take the Tutorial!

Did you know that there is a DealDash tutorial available? If you didn’t know, the tutorial is sort of like a game that teaches you how to participate in a DealDash auction. It prompts you on what to do, and also shows you what the other (pretend) bidders are doing. These other bidders aren’t real people. They only exist to show you how other people bid in auctions. If you didn’t know about the tutorial, and now you do, what are you waiting for? Go check it out! You will receive 10 free bids for participating.

Receive Free Bids for Bidding

You can receive free bids just for bidding, did you know that? There are two different ways that you can accomplish this. The first way most people know about, it’s called “Time as the highest bidder” (TATHB), and you can earn bids by being the highest bidder in an auction.

This isn’t typically an “overnight” way to get free bids, the only way that you can earn time on your clock is by being the highest bidder. As you bid, your meter starts filling up with green when you are the highest bidder. When your meter has completely filled up you will receive free bids from DealDash. Depending on how often you bid you might fill this meter up fast or slow, it all depends on you.

The second way to get free bids just by bidding is simply that – place at least one bid. You will get a number of free bids from DealDash for every consecutive day that you bid. You can earn up to 30 free bids per day. Isn’t that such a nice gift from DealDash? Did you know about it? Well, now that you do, you can go to DealDash every day and take advantage of this awesome perk!
