Six Wins, One Day, Under $1 at DealDash

It excites me to share these fantastic wins which I had in one day at DealDash.  This was a great day of bidding for me, the timing was right, and I won a lot.  The site was really crowded, but what I noticed was players getting involved in too many auctions at once, and losing as a result of it.  So, for me, this was a boon.

You do need to pay close attention to the auction to win them under $1.  It won’t work if you place 10 bids in every auction available at once.  Spreading your game too thin rarely works, at least for me.  Others my win this way, but they are burning up many bids to do it.

The way to get all these low bid wins is to watch the auction closely.  Bid in one auction at a time.  That is key to the success.  You can’t simultaniously physically watch more than one auction at once.  So, to your benefit, stay focused on one at a time.

Another key to winning with just a few bids is to only use a few bids.  This helps you win for less.  If you stay involved in an auction which will go high, you will use all your bids.  So only use a set number of bids per item.

I usually set a number of bids for myself that I won’t exceed if I’m bidding, say 25 bids.  If I don’t win by 25, I drop out, with the exception of being in a battle with only one other player.  And even then, if I don’t win in another dozen or so bids, I will back out.  Nothing bugs me more that using too many bids on an item I know others have won for pennies.  If I’ve seen it go for .12 cents, I want it around .12 cents, so if I don’t win by .12 cents, I’m out… usually.

Tip: Don’t do that every time, if you do, others will know your game.  You have to battle once in a while so others know you are serious about bidding.  That being said, there are many players who play only the front end of an auction, and they win a lot. That’s also a indicator that winning prices are low at DealDash.

Let’s take a look at my great day: I won other items, but not under a dollar, and I used many more bids.  These wins are the successful result of my strategy. Every win is shipped for free.

  • $445 Rustic Tri Pod Floor Lamp- 24 bids, $0.76 cents
  • $209 Handmade Storage Case- 24 bids, $0.67 cents
  • $165 Sterling Silver 18K Gold Plated Crystal Necklace- 19 bids, $0.52 cents
  • $329 14-pc. Amuse Bouche Serving Set-17 bids, $0.46 cents
  • $254 Crystal Sommelier Wine Glasses – 2 bids, $0.33 cents
  • $1642 Metal Art Wall Decor-16 bids, $0.85 cents

A wonderful group of prizes valued at $3044.00 and I paid only $15.30 for bids plus$3.89 for prizes. Each item will be shipped free.  So, stay focused on one item, and don’t exceed a set number of bids.

How Does DealDash Work?

Let’s start by saying that DealDash is the most fun you’ll ever have shopping.  But, what kind of shopping is it?  This is Entertainment Shopping.  You pay to play and your may or may not win the prize you are going after.  Many, many players win items for just pennies, dimes or a couple of dollars.  There are items, like iPads, going to up to 90% off.  You’ll need an account and a username, and you’re off to play!

The way it works is you buy a bid pack, bids are usually between .12 cents and .16 cents on sale everyday at DealDash.  Your first bid pack is $36, but once you have an account, you will have access to the membership price of the day.

You get involved with an auction that you are interested in, by placing a bid, which is worth the .12 cents you paid for it, plus the price of the item goes up by one cent per bid.  So you bid, it’s one cent, the next guy bids, it’s two cents, the next bid three cents, and so on until the last bid is placed.  No one knows exactly when the auction will end, it depends on the number of players, and the tenacity of their game.

In the beginning at DealDash, while you’re trying to get used to the site, try to bid only on small items which are valued less than $200. One reason is the auction will end soon, there are usually only a hundred to 700 bids placed in total for an item.  You won’t have to wait hours to win an auction, and you’ll be able to see how the auctions finish up.  Once you’ve bid in several auctions, you will be more comfortable going for the other items, over $200.  There you will potentially spend many more hours on an auction, especially if the item goes up to $150, that’s 15000 pennies!  You will have to be one of many players to fulfill that closing price.

If  you don’t win the item at DealDash, but you used a bunch of bids trying, you can purchase the item and DealDash will refund you the number of bids you used.  So, you do end up with you item, and now you have the bids to go on to win another item.

When you win an item, DealDash will ship it to you for free.  If you purchase an item, shipping is free then as well.

As you can see it’s easy-peasy to get started playing and shopping at the greatest Entertainment Shopping site.

Good Luck and Happy Bidding!!!

It’s Party Time at DealDash!

stainless-steel-15-pc-127It’s so much fun to bid at DealDash, so why not get some chores done while you are bidding.  This time of year we Americans do a lot of celebrating and you could find some wonderful deals on the things you need to pull off the best holiday party going!

bakewareDealDash has a nice selection of Pots, Pans and Bakeware.  These are items that come up for auction occasionally, so you have to do your shopping and planning to get involved with the auction.  First search what you are looking for and then use the convenient “Alert Me” tab to have DealDash alert you when the auction is scheduled.  I find, if I can find an item in a search bar, it isn’t long before it does come on the market.  These everyday items are perfect for Binning.  That is the Buy It Now (BIN) promise from DealDash, if you try to win an item, and you don’t win it, you can BIN it and get the bids you used trying. This way you do end up with your item, plus you get the bids back to try to win another item.

kitchenaidDealDash has fair retail prices comparable to the big box stores, and they ship every item for free whether you win it or BIN it…free shipping every time. They also rotate the stock, what you may see today won’t necessarily be available next week.  Items can “run a course” and not return.  Meaning, if they carry the pictured set of pots and pans this month, it may be a different manufacturer next month.

They have a few items that are really popular and they always have them, like the coveted stand mixer in every color under the rainbow. Not only are they wonderful to have, they make a fantastic gift.  I try to win one for all the nieces when they marry.  Needless to say, I’m a pretty popular Auntie. The stand mixer is a tough win, you can win it for less than $10, I see it all the time, but more likely, you will close above $100, that’s 10,000 bids between you and a dozen or so players, so be prepared!

I have experience winning the bakeware too, they can go for few bids, I love to get involved and if I don’t win an item under $150 with a couple dozen bids, I back out and opt to either BIN or forfeit the bids.  It’s ok, there is always the next one.

Good Luck and Happy Bidding!!!

Ways to Get Free Bids at DealDash

free bids on dealdashEven though it’s fun to bid and shop at DealDash regardless of the free bids, it’s still great to be appreciated by them and rewarded for loyalty.  DealDash is the most generous penny auction site ever!  With just a little “leg work” you will be able to enhance your bidding experience with some free bids from DealDash.

The easiest way to get bids, is my all time favorite, just bid.  For every second you are the highest bidder in any auction, you are earning free bids for your time, this is called Time As High Bidder (TAHB).  When the Bid Buddy places a bid, there is about 10 seconds before Bid Buddy places the next players bid,  this is your time which accumulates until you reach the next level.  When you reach the next level, your Bid Meter will light up and when you click it, the bids are deposited right into your account.  Often, DealDash will have specials where they multiply the free bids by 2, 3, 4 or even 5 times the free bids!  Each level you achieve rewards you with an increasing number of bids, the longer you bid, the more you get.

You can get free bids from DealDash for posting a photo of a win to the community at [email protected]. Take a nice “bust” shot of you with your win, send it with a comment about your savings and experience to the community at DealDash and they will post it to their social media page.  DealDash uses Facebook to share photos, thoughts of the day and reviews from other players. Depending on the value of the item, you are awarded 50 to 350 free bids for your photo and comment.  Then each photo submitted where the prize is over $99 will be entered in a weekly Photo of the Week, where the winner is awarded 1000 bids.

You can get free bid by winning too, each win (except bid packs) comes with a bid exchange.  Let’s say you win an item and you don’t really need it.  DealDash will let you exchange the item for an amount of bids equal to about one bid per .50 cents to a dollar for the value of the item,  for example, if you win a $100 item, you can exchange it for approximately, 50 bids to 100 bids. Likewise if the item is valued at $1500, you may get up to 1500 bids for that exchange.  There is a group of players who do this all the time, they bid, win and exchange. I try to only use this feature if I need bids for another items which I want.  If you exchange a win, you don’t get the item,  so if you do this all the time, you won’t have anything show for it.  So, use it sparingly.

DealDash has a new review feature, and every time you receive an item in the mail, you are give an opportunity to review the product and the service that came with it.  For every item you review DealDash will give you 10 bids.  Often, I will have 10 or more reviews to leave, they add up quick because you do win a lot at DealDash.

There is a new feature, this is a reward for each consecutive day you bid, so if you bid on Monday they give you a couple of bids, on Tuesday a few more and so on all the way up to 7 days where you are rewarded 30 bids, and then for every day you continue to bid you will get 30 more bids.  I always save one bid each day so tomorrow the first bid I place gives me 30 bids.  Some days, when I don’t buy bids, I still have a few bids to go for a little something.  I’ve won many, many items with less than 30 bids.

So, all you have to do to earn free bids at DealDash is to show up and bid, then win and get some more free bids.  It’s a wonderful system and I feel greatly appreciated for these free bids.

Good Luck and Happy Bidding!!!
