DealDash Promotions Explained

Image result for dealdash tipsIf you’re new to DealDash or a seasoned bidder, you still might not understand how all of the DealDash promotions work on the site. Let me clear that up for you.

DealDash runs many different promotions, there is a new one going pretty much every day. On this blog we try to tell you about the biggest promotions that are happening, but there are smaller sales and promotions that go on as well. If you’re curious about how the different DealDash promotions work, read on, and I will explain the promotions for you.

For example, some days the bids might cost 18 cents on DealDash. That is a huge improvement from the 60 cents that some of us have paid in the past! Other days, the bids might be 14 cents, and on very special occasions I have seen the bids go as low as 12 cents! That’s amazing! When the bids are low-priced, be sure to buy bigger bid packs. That way, you have more spending power than someone who bought bids at a higher price.

Other than the bid sales, there are half-off auction sales, and Free Auction Weekends sometimes as well. Those days tend to be extremely busy on DealDash, and for good reason – on half-off auction days you only have to pay 50% of the final auction fee. And of course, on Free Auction Weekends, you only have to pay 1 penny as the final auction fee.

If you’re a regular on DealDash, you are probably used to the $5 No Jumper auctions. However, on very special promotion days, DealDash lowers the No Jumper limit to only $3! That means that no one can place a bid and win the auction unless they placed a bid before $3. This leads to lower final auction fees because there is significantly less competition on $3 No Jumper auction days.

My advice to you is to check DealDash daily to see what promotion is going on each day. You know that you’re always getting the best deal when you shop on DealDash. Visit DealDash today, just click on this link right here, and you can go see what today’s special promotion is on DealDash. Good luck and happy bidding everyone!

It’s Party Time at DealDash!

stainless-steel-15-pc-127It’s so much fun to bid at DealDash, so why not get some chores done while you are bidding.  This time of year we Americans do a lot of celebrating and you could find some wonderful deals on the things you need to pull off the best holiday party going!

bakewareDealDash has a nice selection of Pots, Pans and Bakeware.  These are items that come up for auction occasionally, so you have to do your shopping and planning to get involved with the auction.  First search what you are looking for and then use the convenient “Alert Me” tab to have DealDash alert you when the auction is scheduled.  I find, if I can find an item in a search bar, it isn’t long before it does come on the market.  These everyday items are perfect for Binning.  That is the Buy It Now (BIN) promise from DealDash, if you try to win an item, and you don’t win it, you can BIN it and get the bids you used trying. This way you do end up with your item, plus you get the bids back to try to win another item.

kitchenaidDealDash has fair retail prices comparable to the big box stores, and they ship every item for free whether you win it or BIN it…free shipping every time. They also rotate the stock, what you may see today won’t necessarily be available next week.  Items can “run a course” and not return.  Meaning, if they carry the pictured set of pots and pans this month, it may be a different manufacturer next month.

They have a few items that are really popular and they always have them, like the coveted stand mixer in every color under the rainbow. Not only are they wonderful to have, they make a fantastic gift.  I try to win one for all the nieces when they marry.  Needless to say, I’m a pretty popular Auntie. The stand mixer is a tough win, you can win it for less than $10, I see it all the time, but more likely, you will close above $100, that’s 10,000 bids between you and a dozen or so players, so be prepared!

I have experience winning the bakeware too, they can go for few bids, I love to get involved and if I don’t win an item under $150 with a couple dozen bids, I back out and opt to either BIN or forfeit the bids.  It’s ok, there is always the next one.

Ways to Get Free Bids at DealDash

free bids on dealdashEven though it’s fun to bid and shop at DealDash regardless of the free bids, it’s still great to be appreciated by them and rewarded for loyalty.  DealDash is the most generous penny auction site ever!  With just a little “leg work” you will be able to enhance your bidding experience with some free bids from DealDash.

The easiest way to get bids, is my all time favorite, just bid.  For every second you are the highest bidder in any auction, you are earning free bids for your time, this is called Time As High Bidder (TAHB).  When the Bid Buddy places a bid, there is about 10 seconds before Bid Buddy places the next players bid,  this is your time which accumulates until you reach the next level.  When you reach the next level, your Bid Meter will light up and when you click it, the bids are deposited right into your account.  Often, DealDash will have specials where they multiply the free bids by 2, 3, 4 or even 5 times the free bids!  Each level you achieve rewards you with an increasing number of bids, the longer you bid, the more you get.

You can get free bids from DealDash for posting a photo of a win to the community at [email protected]. Take a nice “bust” shot of you with your win, send it with a comment about your savings and experience to the community at DealDash and they will post it to their social media page.  DealDash uses Facebook to share photos, thoughts of the day and reviews from other players. Depending on the value of the item, you are awarded 50 to 350 free bids for your photo and comment.  Then each photo submitted where the prize is over $99 will be entered in a weekly Photo of the Week, where the winner is awarded 1000 bids.

You can get free bid by winning too, each win (except bid packs) comes with a bid exchange.  Let’s say you win an item and you don’t really need it.  DealDash will let you exchange the item for an amount of bids equal to about one bid per .50 cents to a dollar for the value of the item,  for example, if you win a $100 item, you can exchange it for approximately, 50 bids to 100 bids. Likewise if the item is valued at $1500, you may get up to 1500 bids for that exchange.  There is a group of players who do this all the time, they bid, win and exchange. I try to only use this feature if I need bids for another items which I want.  If you exchange a win, you don’t get the item,  so if you do this all the time, you won’t have anything show for it.  So, use it sparingly.

DealDash has a new review feature, and every time you receive an item in the mail, you are give an opportunity to review the product and the service that came with it.  For every item you review DealDash will give you 10 bids.  Often, I will have 10 or more reviews to leave, they add up quick because you do win a lot at DealDash.

There is a new feature, this is a reward for each consecutive day you bid, so if you bid on Monday they give you a couple of bids, on Tuesday a few more and so on all the way up to 7 days where you are rewarded 30 bids, and then for every day you continue to bid you will get 30 more bids.  I always save one bid each day so tomorrow the first bid I place gives me 30 bids.  Some days, when I don’t buy bids, I still have a few bids to go for a little something.  I’ve won many, many items with less than 30 bids.

So, all you have to do to earn free bids at DealDash is to show up and bid, then win and get some more free bids.  It’s a wonderful system and I feel greatly appreciated for these free bids.

Good Luck and Happy Bidding!!!

Skating on Thin Ice at DealDash

There is a super thrill when you start shopping at DealDash and you’ll wind up winning an amazing prize for a fraction of the cost.  That thrill will keep you coming back over and over, and you will definitely win at DealDash.  In fact, it’s so much fun to win, especially in the beginning, you’re going to want to try every single auction at once and stretch yourself too thin.

It’s not difficult to get “carried away” when you are bidding, you want to win them all, but what I can tell you, is you will win today, and you will win again and again.  You don’t have to go after every item right out of the gate, you’ll end up burning through too many bids at once.  You will have plenty of time to win again.

When you find yourself losing little auctions that you simply didn’t pay attention to, you will realize you are in the area of “skating on thin ice”.  It won’t take you long to realize you need to choose a few of these auctions and just let the rest go.  There is always the next one at DealDash.  You can  see how often they offer an given item by typing it in the search bar, that item will come up for the recent past, the present and the near future.  That is your guide to see how often they offer an item.

If the item isn’t listed again currently, it may have run its course or be scheduled far into the future, you may not see it today, but suddenly it’s back.  They mix up the inventory at DealDash all the time.  That is one reason why it’s so hard to resist bidding on many auctions at once.  Through my experience, I have seen that I win more auctions when I bid in less auctions.  The chances of making a mistake goes down too.

So, try to stick to as many auctions that will fit in your field of view.  If you are using your phone, that may be only one auction.  If it’s your computer, for example, I can see 12 comfortably, but I rarely bid in more than 6 at once.  In fact, I rarely bid in more than three at once.  I usually plan on winning, so I stay focused on my auctions.

You plan on winning too, but if you bid in too many auctions at once, you may not win as many auctions, so keep it simple, don’t skate on thin ice, and play safe….there is always the next one.
