Tips for Winning Last Minute Auctions

DealDash auctions

Are you a “last minute” type of person? It’s possible to win an auction last minute, here are some tips from DealDash.

Do you do things at the very last minute? Might some people call you a bit of a procrastinator? Normally, I recommend doing research on the auctions and the bidders you go up against. However, if you’re just naturally a last minute type of person you will enjoy reading these tips that are just for you.

Stick to Low-Value Auctions

Bidding last minute and winning is possible, but it’s doubtful that you will win high-valued items. If bidding last minute is your preferred method, then stick to the low-valued auctions. What do I mean by low-valued? In the DealDash world, things under $200 are considered lower-valued. This doesn’t mean that they aren’t great items or auctions, they are just a lower price.

There are lots of great items that are under $200 such as sheet sets, necklaces, rings, candles, bid packs, purses and laptop bags, and many more things. Just because things are priced lower doesn’t mean that they aren’t good quality, these are nice items that come with manufacturer’s warranties included.

Bid on One of Many

Have you noticed that DealDash offers the same or similar items a few times per day? If you’re in the mood to win a last minute auction, then seek out these items. If there are 2 or more items that are the same or very similar going on at the same time, then you have a better chance of winning one quickly than a highly sought after and rare item.

Try Bidding on Bid Packs

Bid packs are something that every bidder can use, and they come up for auction many, many times per day. Bid packs are great for a quick win because they often end for a low price, therefore ending fairly quickly. You probably could have figured this out on your own, but if you stick to bid packs of 100 or less they will usually end fast. Just click on this link right here and it will take you to all of the current auctions for bid packs.

Tips to Stay in the Auction

IN IT TO WIN IT DEALDASH

Finding yourself in a difficult auction happens to all of us sometimes. You have to figure out the best way to stay in the auction. Here are some tips from DealDash.

Are you “In it to win it” when you play in DealDash auctions, or are you just wasting some idle free time? I would guess that you’re “In it to win it” because otherwise, why bother? Being committed to every auction that you enter goes a long way towards winning more auctions. If you need a little bit of help staying in the auction when times get tough, here are some tips to help.

Take a Break

Yes, taking a break might seem counterintuitive, but it can really work well in some cases. If you’re in an auction and have placed a few bids before the $5 No Jumper cut off then you’re safe as long as there are multiple bidders still going at it. If you see that there are over 5 bidders still bidding “hot and heavy” against each other, then I would feel secure in taking a little break. Of course, the joke might be on you and all of them stop bidding at the same time, but when there are at least 5 people bidding it’s unlikely that the auction will end within the next 15-30 minutes. Sometimes you just need to take a little break to clear your head and renew your concentration.

Take a Break (With Your Buddy)

If you don’t feel secure in canceling your bids to take a break, then be sure to load up your BidBuddy with enough bids to reach the BIN (But It Now) price. For example, if you really feel like you need a short break, but there are only 3 bidders bidding then be sure to do it this way. You’d feel terrible if you took a quick bathroom and snack break only to come back and see that someone else won. Be safe, take a break with your best bud – BidBuddy.

Not Too Far In?

How many bids have you spent on this auction thus far? If you’ve spent less than 100 you might want to think about backing out if you’re having a tough time. I know that I can tell when I am definitely not going to win. It’s just a feeling that I get. However, there could be other reasons why you feel like you’re definitely not going to win, such as running low on bids, running out of time to bid before you need to leave your house, or perhaps a new bidder entered the auction that you have dealt with in the past and don’t wish to bid against again. No matter what the reason, there’s no shame in canceling your bids and looking for a different auction. DealDash often offers the same item within a few days of each other, maybe you’ll have more luck in the next one!

Tips to Feel Special on DealDash

DealDash special

Do you know how special you are? Well, DealDash does! Here are some tips for feeling special on DealDash.

DealDash cares about all of their customers and wants to make them feel special. That’s why DealDash offers so many nice perks to their bidders. They want you to feel special and appreciated. Here are some of the best ways that DealDash makes you feel special.

Special Promotions for Bidders

What makes someone feel more special than a special promotion? DealDash offers special promotions every week, usually on the weekend. These promotions are a great time to score some reduced-priced auctions. These special promotions include free-to-the-winner auctions and fifty-percent off auctions. These promotions are normally held on the weekend or on holidays, and they are always popular.

Special Bid Prices

Another special thing that DealDash offers for you, their special bidder, is bid sales. The normal price for bids is .60 per bid. No one ever pays that much for bids except for their first bid pack. The special sale prices for bids range anywhere between .12 and .20 per bid. As you can see, that is a huge difference in price when we are talking about buying 300 or 500 or even 1,000 bids. These special prices are one of my favorite parts about DealDash.

Special Handmade Items

Handmade items are all the rage online, and DealDash has partnered with a few special companies from all over the world to bring you handmade items for your home. In addition to these special handmade items, there are other highly sought-after luxury items such as top of the line drones, the best in kitchen small appliances, and more.

Extra Special Free Bids

DealDash wondered what they could do to make their bidders feel even more special, and the answer was unanimous – FREE bids. DealDash offers free bids every day (up to 30) for just for placing a bid in an auction. This is the best way to get free bids, in my opinion. It requires very little effort for a big payoff. There are other ways to get free bids that require a tiny bit more effort. These ways include posting selfies of you and your win, writing product reviews on DealDash, and earning Time As The Highest Bidder (TATHB). These are all fine ways to get free bids from DealDash and feel special.

DealDash Weekend Bidding Tips

DEALDASH WEEKEND

Are you planning on bidding on DealDash this weekend? Here are some great tips for bidding this weekend.

Bidding on DealDash is fun on any day, but the weekend is always extra exciting. DealDash is always extremely busy on the weekend, so there is more fun to be had. You might think that bidding on DealDash on a busy weekend is a bad idea, but it’s actually a good one. Can you guess why? Becuase when it’s so busy not only are there more auctions, but there is even more of a chance that a good deal will slip right through the cracks and no one will notice that you’re getting an awesome item for just a few bids.

The Early Bird Gets the Item

If you’re planning on bidding this weekend on DealDash I would suggest trying to bid early. Many people love to sleep in late on the weekend, so if you’re able to drag yourself out of bed extra early on Saturday or Sunday morning, then you’re going to have a great shot at getting an item for a low price.

Try During Dinner

Getting up early isn’t for everyone, so here’s another suggestion. People are more likely to go out to a restaurant for dinner on Saturday night than any other day. If you choose to stay home and bid on DealDash instead, then you’ll have a little bit less competition.

Late Night? Not So Fast

You might think that staying up late to bid is a great idea, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to do it. When I first joined DealDash I was working a few overnight shifts at my job. I was very excited because I thought that I would have a competitive advantage. I had to be awake and in front of a computer from 11PM-6AM anyway, I figured that the wins would just come rolling in due to the late hour. However, it didn’t really work out that way for me. I have always had much better luck bidding in the morning than any other time. Your results might be different, of course, especially if you take time zones into consideration.
