DealDash Tips and Tricks for Free Bids

Free bids, you say? Yes! Totally free bids, courtesy of DealDash, are yours for the taking!

Anyone who bids on DealDash should be taking advantage of the free bids that DealDash offers to all bidders. Why in the world would you want to waste free bids by not taking them and using them? Just think about this the next time you go and buy bids. Today, 55 bids are $7. If you’re smart you’ll read the rest of this article and take advantage of the tips inside!

Free Bids for Bidding? What?!

That’s right, you can get free bids just for bidding daily on DealDash. This is a newer perk that DealDash offers. Every day that you sign in and place a bid on an auction DealDash will give you some free bids. The number of free bids depends on how many days that you have visited and bid consecutively on DealDash. You get a few free bids on the first day, and the number goes up a little each day until it reaches a cap of 30 bids. That’s right, thirty free bids! That’s like DealDash paying you almost $4 per day to bid, as long as you come every single day (consecutively) and bid.

Time as the Highest Bidder

There’s another way that you can earn free bids just for bidding, and it’s called TIME AS THE HIGHEST BIDDER (TATHB). This means that for every second you are the highest bidder in an auction, you earn time on your time clock, which fills up a meter at the bottom of your screen. As you collect more time, it fills up your meter and you get closer to free bids. When the meter is full DealDash will give you the free bids, and the meter will start back at the beginning to fill up again.

The TATHB is the reason that people love to bid on auctions when DealDash is running their 2X and 3X promotions. When DealDash runs these promotions your bid meter will fill up 2x or 3x as fast. This means that you will fill up your bid meter much faster and get free bids sooner.

Tips From DealDash – How Many Bids?

Today we are going to take a moment to talk about DealDash bids. How many bids should you be buying and spending? Read on to find out.

Today’s topic is all about bids. How many bids should you be buying? How many bids should you spend in an auction? How many bids are needed to reach the BIN (Buy It Now) price? All of these questions and more will be answered in today’s DealDash Tips article.

How Many Should I buy?

The answer to this is easy! If the price of bids is high you should only buy the bare minimum needed to bid that particular day. You might think “What does it matter if the bid price is .14 or .18? Well, it matters a lot! If you have $100 to spend on bids today, and the price of bids is .18, then you can buy around 555 bids. That’s a nice chunk of bids, however, if you had bought them the previous day when the price was .14, you would have gotten 714 for the same amount of money! The per-bid price really does make a huge difference. So, in short, when bid prices are low, stock up!

For some people spending $100 on bids is a lot of money, their whole “fun” budget for the month. For other people, that’s just a couple of lunches at a restaurant, no biggie. Most people probably fall somewhere in-between these two extremes, so figure out your budget and buy as many bids as you can when they are on a good sale.

How Many Should I Spend?

When thinking about how many bids you should spend, you need to keep your own personal bidding budget in mind. If you have tons of bids in your bid bank then you can afford to throw them around a little, whereas if you only have the bare minimum, maybe you should save them until you can buy/win/earn some more.

How Many Bids to the BIN Price?

Figuring out how many bids to reach the BIN price is easy in theory. If it happens to be a free auction weekend then things are easy! Just take the retail price that’s listed on the auction and divide it by the price that you paid for each bid. For example, $25 divided by .14 equals 178. However, if it’s not a free auction weekend then you are going to have to get a little more creative and estimate the price that the auction will end, and do the math from there.

Tips for a Great Day on DealDash

Every day is a great day when you’re playing on DealDash. However, there are ways that you can make your great day even better!

How is your day going today? It would be even better if you were on DealDash. DealDash is the place to go when you are having a bad day and need to cheer yourself up. It’s easy to feel cheered up when you are winning amazing things for cheap prices!

Are you winning as many auctions as you could be? I bet that if you were having a bad day today, and you won an auction, even a small one, it would turn your whole attitude around! The object is to get you winning more auctions so you can have a great day with DealDash more often. How can you win more auctions? Read on to get more tips for making it a great day with DealDash.

Don’t Get Discouraged

Have you been bidding in a certain category and not having any luck? Change things around! Bid in a different category. Bid on items that you don’t normally try to win. You can’t progress as a bidder unless you try to do things differently sometimes.

Always Do Your Research

Not only should you be researching the items that you’re bidding on, you should also be doing research on your fellow bidders. Are you going up against a bidder who proudly claims in their bio that they collect art? Maybe going up against them in an art auction isn’t the best plan. Perhaps you could bid on something different, and bid on art the following day. Or even find a different art auction to bid on while the art connoisseur is busy bidding on that particular auction.

Bid Smart, Conserve Bids

Are you wasting your bids? If there’s an auction that you’re seriously interested in winning, then why are you only tossing in a few bids here and there? If you have time, you should wait until there are only a few bidders left in the auction, and then set your BidBuddy up with as many bids as it will take to reach the BIN (Buy It Now) price. If you win, that’s awesome! If you don’t win, at least you know that you gave it your best shot.

Don’t Waste Your Money

Be sure that you’re not wasting your money on expensive bids. Don’t wait until the last moment to buy bids. DealDash has different sale prices each day, be sure that you’re buying on a day that the prices are .14 or less. When the price drops to .14 or less, then buy as big a bid pack as you can with your budget. There’s nothing more frustrating than wanting to bid on an auction, not having any bids, and the bid price is .18 or more.

DealDash Tips to Beat Everyone

Going into an auction your plan is to beat everyone, correct? Here are some helpful tips from DealDash to accomplish your mission.

No one goes into an auction thinking that they are going to lose. They know that the odds are stacked against them, but they have hope that they will be the winner. There are some things that you should (and should not do) when you are participating in an auction to help your chances of winning. Follow these simple and easy tips and tricks from DealDash Tips to take your winning up a notch!

Be Prepared

Make sure that you are always prepared when you enter into an auction. Do your research, purchase your bids, and take a peek at your competition. It’s a smart idea to just place one bid in the very beginning so you can see who is participating in the auction and ensuring that you aren’t locked out of bidding. I don’t suggest that you “jump in” at $4.99 when the auction is just about to be locked, that’s just rude. However, I do advise that you let the auction play out for at least a dollar or so just so you can have a good idea who is going to be participating in the auction with you.

Take Your Bidding Seriously

Yes, take your bidding seriously. Don’t try to do a lot of multitasking when you’re bidding in a DealDash auction. If you’re trying to make dinner, help the kids with homework, chat on the phone, and bid then it’s not going to go well. You should be paying close attention when you’re playing on DealDash. Of course, you can turn on the BidBuddy and walk away to do things. However, I personally sit and watch the auction even with BidBuddy doing the work for me, especially if it’s an item that is important to me.

Be Sneaky

That’s right – sneak up on a win! Do a little bidding, then sit out for a bit. Jump back in, jump back out. It confuses people, and you might just sneak up on a win! Give it a try. Be careful that you don’t forget to jump back in, though, it’s happened to me. I get distracted easily and have completely forgotten to check back in on auctions, sometimes.
