DealDash Tips to Win and Win

DealDashAre you ready to win and win on DealDash? Here are some tips to get you winning more on DealDash.

Let’s face it, the fact that we are all bidding on DealDash is that we are hoping that we will win an auction and get a great deal on a new product. However, you might not be winning and winning as much as you would like. If you read this blog (and all of the other DealDash blogs, of course!) then you will be winning and winning before you can say “BID!” Read on for more information.

Look at Your Past

What have you won before? Take a peek at the auctions that you have won previously. Have you won a lot of items in a particular category? If you have had a lot of luck in a particular category then perhaps you should keep bidding in that category! However, if your winning is scattered across a few different categories then you should look at the auctions that you have won for the best deal. For example, I have won a lot of jewelry on DealDash. I continue to bid on jewelry because they make excellent gifts for just about any woman or girl. Once you have figured out what you’re good at winning, try to keep it going. Stay in your sweet spot until it stops giving you wins. Then move on.

Look to Your Future

If you haven’t had a lot of luck in the past on DealDash, then perhaps you would be better off looking towards the future. If you are able to visit DealDash every day and look for new products then you might be able to get a win. For me personally, it seems like I have a lot of luck with items when they first appear on DealDash. I’m not sure exactly why this is, perhaps people like to bid on things that are more familiar to them. However, I love trying new things and products, so bidding on brand new items when they become available on DealDash is fun for me.

Find the Right Time

If you want to win and win, then you need to find the best time to bid on an auction. This could be different times on different days. It could also mean different times depending on which category that you’re bidding in. The moral of this story is that you need to visit DealDash and do a lot of observation, not just bidding. Bidding without doing your research just isn’t a good idea.

Just Don’t Stop on DealDash

DealDash

“Slow and steady wins the race.” That is a completely true statement if you’re talking about DealDash. Read on…

Have you ever been in a very long auction on DealDash? I have been in a few that have lasted for over 24 hours, but I have seen some that last for days. This often happens when there is a super promotion going on such as Free Auction Wins. Just think, if it’s a highly sought after item with a free win, it could go on for quite some time. Here are some tips on how to deal with longer auctions on DealDash.

Free Auction Wins

As I mentioned above, sometimes DealDash does a wonderful promotion called “Free Auction Wins.” This means that no matter how high the bidding gets the winner will not have to pay a final auction fee at the end of the auction. Well, they pay .01, but that’s just a processing fee. .01 is close enough to free in my book! When DealDash runs this very popular promotion, expect to participate in some very long auctions. This is especially true when you are bidding on gift cards.

Since the BIN (Buy It Now) price of a gift card is just its face value with no other fees added then people love to rack up the TATHB (Time As The Highest Bidder) time on their bid meters to get free bids. This is especially true if it’s a very popular and useful gift card such as Target or Shell Gas because these are places that people go anyway. So if you’re bidding on a popular gift card on a Free Auction Win day, then be prepared to bid for a while.

Be Sure to Use Your Buddy

If you’re bidding in a marathon auction, then be sure that you’re taking advantage of DealDash’s free bidding tool, the BidBuddy. Trust me, after the first couple hours of sitting at the computer bidding you’re going to want to take a bathroom break, get a snack, and stretch your legs a little. So even if you prefer to do single-click bidding, be prepared to use your BidBuddy some of the time so you don’t miss out on any of the action while you take your break.

Don’t Bid the Entire Time

If you’re in a very long auction, then I don’t advise that you spend the entire time bidding. This is especially true if it’s a very high dollar item that many other people are trying to win. After you have put in a few initial bids to see if the auction is going to end quickly, then you need to assess the situation. See how many BidBuddies are taking turns bidding. If there are more than 10 BidBuddies bidding, then this auction is most likely going to last a long time. I would check back every hour or so and count the BidBuddies. Once it’s down to 5 or less, then I would get back into the action.

See how many BidBuddies are taking turns bidding. If there are more than 10 BidBuddies bidding, then this auction is most likely going to last a long time. I would check back every hour or so and count the BidBuddies. Once it’s down to 5 or less, then I would get back into the action. This strategy can fail, of course, if the BidBuddies are all set to a similar number of bids and the auction ends suddenly. However, if you have only placed a few bids, anyway, you are only losing .30 or .40, so it’s not a big commitment.

Also, if you have received your free bids for bidding daily, then it’s no commitment at all, because depending on how many daily free bids you are earning, it could completely cover the cost of throwing a few bids out to “test the waters” of an auction.

DealDash Tips: How to Win Bid Packs

By Barbara

Did you ever win a bid pack on DealDash.com?

I used to bid on bid packs a lot. Then one day I realized that bids are only bids. If all I used my bids for was to win more bids, what good were they?  We cannot eat our bids and we cannot wear our bids. In fact, bids are no good for nothing except to win something other than bids.

DealDash often puts bid packs up for auction. They come in various sizes, from 100 to 4,000. I used to think if I bid on a small bid pack, it would be much easier to win, but it does not always turn out like that. Sometimes I see larger bid packs go for less money than the small ones.

Perhaps others thought the same thing I did and, therefore, the smallest bid packs ended up having the most customers and even more competition, instead of less. I challenge you to just watch. It might surprise you to see higher bid packs often go for less money than the smaller ones.

Therefore, the smartest thing to do might be to keep our eyes open for the bid packs with the least amount of competition. Instead of bidding on the smallest bid packs, we should be bidding on the packs with the fewest number of competitors.

Yes, bids are only bids, but if we start winning bid packs, we could eventually save enough to win our favorite auction product.

Terms of DealDash Endearment

Are you familiar with all of DealDash’s terms and abbreviations? If you’d like a little help, read on.

If you’ve been on DealDash for a while, you probably don’t need any help figuring out the terms and abbreviations. However, if you’re new to DealDash, then you might need a little more help and more information. DealDash practically has its own language that you’ll want to do a little research on before you get started. This DealDash blog article is the perfect place to start. Now, who’s ready to learn?

BIN, AKA “Buy It Now”

DealDash is very generous and offers a “Buy It Now” or “BIN” option on every single auction. No matter if the retail value is $20 or $2,000 you can always do a BIN on every auction. Doing a BIN means that you did not win an item in a  DealDash auction, but you may purchase the item for retail value and receive all of your bids back. BIN is something that is a really good idea to do, and it’s a great way to save money. DealDash is the only pay-to-bid site that offers a Buy It Now on all of their auctions. Understand? Now go out and BIN the next auction that you participate in but don’t win.

BidBuddy, Your Partner on DealDash

The term BidBuddy is another very common DealDash word. The BidBuddy is something that you will get to know – it’s DealDash’s automated bidding tool. The BidBuddy is something that you would be wise to use every time that you bid.The BidBuddy is available on every auction, to every bidder, there are no restrictions on it other than the fact that you can’t load it up with more bids than you have in your bid bank to spend. You can use the BidBuddy for free and book as many BidBuddies as you have the bids to do.

The BidBuddy is the best and most consistent way to win auctions on DealDash. The BidBuddy will place bids for you by taking turns with the other BidBuddies that are set in a particular auction. It will place a bid for you in the last 2-3 seconds of an auction. You can place or cancel the amount of bids that you want in the BidBuddy. You are in control when using the BidBuddy on DealDash.

Free Bids and TATHB

Free bids are pretty self-explanatory, however, there are many different ways to obtain them. You can receive free bids from DealDash for a variety of things such as sending in pictures and videos of you and your won items. You can also get free bids for just showing up and bidding. Also, you can collect Time As The Highest Bidder (TATHB), and when your time meter has filled up then DealDash will reward you with free bids. You can also receive free bids for filling out your bidder bio, taking the DealDash tutorial, and by writing product reviews when DealDash requests them.
