Follow These DealDash Instruction Tips

dealdash checklist

By observing and following my checklist on DealDash you will win more auctions. Enjoy your DealDash experience more by paying attention to these simple rules.

DealDash Tips is here to tell you exactly what to do to win more auctions and save more money. DealDash Tips understands that every new bidder has to start somewhere, and has made this outline for you to follow to win! If you follow this list you will more auctions than ever before on DealDash.

BidBuddy

Use your BidBuddy. The BidBuddy is the number one way to win auctions on DealDash. Do you understand how the BidBuddy works? It’s simple to understand, and simple to use. The BidBuddy is an automated bidding tool that will place your bids for you during the last few seconds of the auction.

The BidBuddy saves you money by placing bids at the exact moment that they need to be placed, taking turns with other BidBuddies until there is only one BidBuddy left – hopefully yours!

Your BidBuddy also saves you time since you don’t even have to sit at your computer or have it turned on as long as you have bids booked.

Alert Me

The Alert Me feature is very handy to use. If you’re interested in a particular auction that is not currently being offered, just hit the “Alert Me” button on the auction page. DealDash will send you an email when the item is up for auction.

Buy It Now

The Buy It Now (BIN) feature is a favorite with most of the bidders on DealDash. DealDash offers the BIN feature on each and every auction, for every single bidder that placed even a single bid. If you don’t win the auction you can BIN the item for its retail price (that is always listed very clearly on each auction’s page), and receive each and every bid that you placed on that auction, as well as free shipping on the item.

Free Bids

Be sure to log into DealDash every single day and place a few bids. Every day that you sign in and bid on DealDash you will be rewarded with free bids!

Please Do Your Research

Research the items that you are interested in before you begin bidding. Doing your research is smart for a few reasons, namely that you can figure out exactly what you want before you begin bidding. I recommend that you research everything that you can about each item before you bid. You’ll know how much the item is worth, how popular it is, and what price that the auction usually ends.

Tips from DealDash for Great Pics

dealdash pic tips

Taking great pictures is an important skill to have, especially if you want to win 1,000 bids from DealDash in the weekly contest.

Have you been entering the DealDash photo contest to win 1,000 bids? This is a contest that happens every week, and the winners are always ecstatic to win. That’s about $150 in free bids! DealDash has this contest weekly as a “thank you” to their loyal customers. Read on for some ways to improve your chances to win by taking excellent pictures.

How’s Your Lighting?

One of the key aspects for taking a great photo of yourself is to be sure that your lighting is adequate. You’ll want to Be sure that there is excellent lighting in your home, or take your item outside to take the pictures. Make sure that the light is focused onto you and the item, and that there are no shadows covering you. However, having natural light is best so waiting for a nice bright day might work in your favor.

Have a Backdrop

Another way to make your wins really “pop” is to set up a backdrop. This doesn’t have to be anything expensive or complicated, even just hanging a plain neutral colored sheet behind you would do the trick. Try using gray, cream, or beige for the best pictures.

After you have taken your photo of yourself with your win navigate to the DealDash Facebook page which is here, and “Like” it. Then you can post your picture to get free bids. Here are the instructions from DealDash detailing the instructions how to get free bids from Facebook:

1. Select an item you have won on DealDash to feature in the photo.

2. Take a high-quality photo clearly showing yourself and the item you won.

3. Send your best-looking photo to [email protected] and add a description which should include the following information: the item name, retail price, how much you paid for the item and a personal comment about the win as well. For example: “I got this $879 flatware set on@DealDash. I paid just $9.02 and used 109 bids! Thanks DealDash, they look nice in my kitchen”

4. In the end of the caption, please include the following sentence and the link (See the picture below):

See the Official Rules

You can see all of these instructions and guidelines on the DealDash Facebook page here.

And the Unofficial Rules

Other than great lighting, here are a few other tips to help you take great photos of yourself and your DealDash wins:

  • Take the item out of the packaging so it’s easier to see.
  • If the item needs to be put together, like a bike, then do that before taking the picture.
  • If it’s a small item hold it up close to your face.
  • If it’s a larger item such as exercise equipment try to get someone else to take the picture for you so you can either sit on it or crouch down so you and the item are on the same level.
  • Make sure that your pics are CLEAR! There’s nothing worse than a blurry out of focus dark picture where you can barely even tell what the item is that you are trying to display.

DealDash Tips to Win Clothing

DEALDASH CLOTHING

Clothing – everyone needs it, and DealDash has it! Here are some tips from DealDash to winning clothing in an auction.

DealDash started offering clothing for auction two years ago, starting slowly with hats. They have since expanded their clothing offerings to include not only the hats but also some t-shirts, athletic clothing, and shoes. Clothing auctions are typically very popular and can be difficult to win. Read on to learn some of the best tips to win clothing auctions on DealDash.

Is It Your Size?

Firstly, you’ll want to find the clothing auctions that are in your size. DealDash offers some “one size fits most” auctions like hats, but if you’re interested in other clothing you’ll have to do a search to find items in your size. Personally, I wish that the clothing auctions would have size options to choose after you have won. I suppose that might be logistically difficult to implement, but it would be nice! However, since the clothing items come in particular sizes you might have a better chance of winning these items since there are bidders of all shapes, sizes, and shoe sizes on DealDash.

Set An Alert

Next, once you have found clothing items in your size (or the perfect size as a gift!) then you will want to set an alert so you will know when the clothing item in your size is coming up for auction. You can set an alert with just a click! It’s simple, just hit the “Alert Me” button on the main page, or you can open up the individual auction to read more information about the item. You can then set the alert there on its page using the “Alert Me” button. When the item that you are interested in is coming up for auction DealDash will send you an email with a link to check out the auction that you requested.

Want A Particular Size?

Do you wear a size that DealDash doesn’t normally carry, such as extra-small or extra-extra-large? If you’re interested in bidding on clothing that DealDash has for auction but none of them would fit you, try sending customer service an email to let them know.

DealDash customer service is very good about listening to what the customers want, and if they think that the size of clothing you are interested in would be popular on the site then I wouldn’t be surprised if they started carrying it in the future. DealDash customer service is very responsive to emails and will send you a reply quickly.
