Healthy Living Starting with 10,000 Steps
Ok, so I will admit… up until yesterday I wasn’t too ‘gung-ho’ on the whole fitbit/fitness tracking thing that seems to be all the rage right now, especially among those who are striving to get healthier and maybe even lose weight.
The fitbit Flex Tracker is a wristband, it retails for $99.99 and can be won for even less if you can win it on DealDash.com.

I gave in and bought one a few days ago. I started using it yesterday and my goal is to meet 10,000 steps each day. This morning I headed to a local nature center at 7 am, by 9 I hit my goal of 10k steps and 4 miles just from doing an activity I love, hiking. If you think eh, I don’t need a tracker or to see how many steps I take, maybe you don’t, I didn’t think I did either. So far it’s helping take time to make fitness a daily priority. So my goal is to lose some weight and get in better athletic shape. On 8/25, DealDash bidder Mozart09 (almost on their win limit for the week with 5/6 wins) won a great deal on this All Stainlifters Free and Clear Laundry Detergent 150 oz with a winning bid price of just $0.55 + bids placed. This detergent is shipped free of charge to winners and anyone who uses buy it now $18. How about a way to not have to go to the store when you need to restock on much needed items like detergent! What a deal!
Now for an even better deal! Watch out because now jordwayl will have a brand new Acer Aspire 11.6 inch tablet to use to bid against you next time. The $772 tablet was won on 8/24 for $23.38 – but the final end price was free, so she only paid for the bids she placed to win the tablet.
The $23.28 end price means that 2,328 bids were placed by all participating bidders in the auction. Plus, jordwayl had to have placed bids before the $5.00 price to stay in the auction.
