DealDash Tips: Are you a creature of habit?

Are you a creature of habit?  In other words, do you get in the habit of doing things the same old way over and over again without ever making any changes?

Perhaps, being a creature of habit might give you a sense of security in everyday life, but when it comes to winning auctions on DealDash, it might not work so well. To improve your chances of winning, you might have to change the way you are doing things and be willing to try something different.

When you place bids in an auction, do you always place the same number of bids? Most people tend to place an even number of bids, such as 10, 50, 100, 150 or 200. However, if everybody did that, you might be lost in the crowd. How about changing it up a bit and place an odd number of bids?  Perhaps placing 11, 53, 101, 157 or 207, you might improve your chances of getting the last bid to win the auction.

You might also get some good ideas by watching other successful players. If you go to the winners list, for instance, you will see some of the same screen names appear more often than others. If you open up various auctions and watch a few successful players, you might be able to follow their example to get a few more wins of your own.

Tips To Win Today

DealDash Tips Today

Are you feeling like a big winner today? Why not?! It’s easy and fin to win on DealDash. Here are some tips to win today.

Winning can be easy and fast, or more difficult and take up a longer amount of time. The secret is that you need to be patient and take your wins where you can get them. Study the website, and learn how it works. Here are some excellent tips from DealDash on how to win an auction today.

Bid on Low-Value Auctions

There are plenty of low-value auctions to choose from today. There are some $10, $25, and $50 gift cards to choose from. Gift cards are great, because you can keep them for yourself to use instead of cash or a credit card, or you can give them as a gift. There are a lot of graduations going on right now, why not win one to give to a new graduate?

There are also many jewelry auctions going on today for less than $200. There are different styles of earrings, bracelets, and rings, all for the winning. Jewelry is another thing that can be very nice to keep for yourself or give as a gift. Personally, I like to keep a small stash of gifts at home in case I need a gift on short notice. I have them pre-wrapped in wrapping paper, and I just stick a little post-it note on them saying what is inside. Along with my supply of blank cards that I keep around, I am always prepared for a birthday, wedding shower, or baby shower.

Spread Your Bids Around

Normally I advocate for picking an item that you really want to win and stay in it until the end – whether you end up Buying It Now (BIN) or winning it. However, if your goal is to win an auction today, then spread your bids around. If you have 500 bids that you want to spend today, you will be far more likely to win an auction if you put 100 bids on 5 auctions than putting all 500 bids on 1 auction. However, the problem with this is if you don’t win any of them, then it wouldn’t really make sense to BIN 5 different actions unless they are things that you really want to win, or if they are something that you need in your daily life such as a new sheet set or towels. Whereas if you put your 500 bids onto an auction of a piece of jewelry that you really wanted, it would make sense for you to pay the $99 or $150 and receive your 500 bids back. It’s up to you. That’s the great thing about DealDash, you can play it however you want to – there’s no right or wrong way as long as you follow the House Rules.

DealDash Best Experience Tips

DealDash

Have you been enjoying your DealDash experience so far? Read on for the top tips to have the best DealDash experience in the world.

People love bidding on auctions and exploring the DealDash website. But are they really having the best experience that they can? I can’t answer that question, but I can tell you what to do to have your best DealDash experience. Don’t worry, there’s nothing too difficult or time-consuming that needs to be done. Without further ado, here are the top tips for getting your best experience out of DealDash.

Use the BidBuddy

I’ve said it 100 times, but I am willing to say it 101 times – use your BidBuddy! Almost every auction is won with the BidBuddy. Most auctions run for multiple hours at a time, you really don’t want to have to sit there and keep clicking the “bid” button over and over again. You would be completely devastated if you had spent hours upon hours and hundreds of bids and ended up missing a click or your internet or electricity lost the connection for a second. It happened to me once in my early days of DealDash, and I vowed from then on out to use my BidBuddy every single time.

Go Into the Auction Expecting to Buy It Now (BIN)

If you enter every auction expecting to BIN the item then you will be pleasantly surprised when you win. This means that you should really only bid in auctions that you are really truly interested in winning. Of course, everyone likes to throw a few bids here and there for fun, like a scratch ticket, but when you’re serious about an item, then be “in it to BIN it!” A lot of people have a similar sentiment in their bidder bio, but in reality, it seems like that isn’t usually the case.

When you’re prepared to BIN the auctions that you enter it can be a very calming experience. It’s very comforting to know that I am really not LOSING any bids when I bid in an auction – I’m either going to win that item at a discount, or I’m going to BIN it and get all of my bids returned to me. Another great thing about BINning an auction is that you also get to keep all of the clock time that you accrued as the highest bidder. If you’re bidding on high-dollar auctions, then this can add up to a significant amount of time.

DealDash Tips: How I Use My Mobile Device

How I Use My Mobile Device

I usually play DealDash on my home computer because I prefer seeing the bidding action on a big screen. However, I have recently discovered that it is very helpful to use my mobile device–a Samsung Galaxy.

My home computer is faster and more dependable. At the same time, I do not always want to be stuck at my computer downstairs. That’s where my mobile device comes in handy.

Here are some ways I now use my Samsung Galaxy:

  • In the kitchen. By placing my mobile device on the kitchen table, I can play on DealDash at the same time I cook a meal or do the dishes. I love being able to get my work done and still monitor the progress of my auctions at the same time.
  • In the living room. By placing my mobile device on my coffee table, I can watch my favorite TV programs or movie at the same time I play on DealDash. If I see that I am running out of bids, I run downstairs during a commercial to add bids or pay for a win.
  • In the car. By bringing my mobile device with me when I take a disabled person to a grocery store or appointment, it helps me to pass the time. I do not mind waiting when I can play on DealDash. Luckily, I usually get a Wi-Fi connection.

I still do the bulk of my playing on DealDash using my home computer, but my mobile device helps me to carry on with my busy life-style at the same time, so I do not miss out on an easy win.
