Are you familiar with all of DealDash’s terms and abbreviations? If you’d like a little help, read on.

If you’ve been on DealDash for a while, you probably don’t need any help figuring out the terms and abbreviations. However, if you’re new to DealDash, then you might need a little more help and more information. DealDash practically has its own language that you’ll want to do a little research on before you get started. This DealDash blog article is the perfect place to start. Now, who’s ready to learn?

BIN, AKA “Buy It Now”

DealDash is very generous and offers a “Buy It Now” or “BIN” option on every single auction. No matter if the retail value is $20 or $2,000 you can always do a BIN on every auction. Doing a BIN means that you did not win an item in a  DealDash auction, but you may purchase the item for retail value and receive all of your bids back. BIN is something that is a really good idea to do, and it’s a great way to save money. DealDash is the only pay-to-bid site that offers a Buy It Now on all of their auctions. Understand? Now go out and BIN the next auction that you participate in but don’t win.

BidBuddy, Your Partner on DealDash

The term BidBuddy is another very common DealDash word. The BidBuddy is something that you will get to know – it’s DealDash’s automated bidding tool. The BidBuddy is something that you would be wise to use every time that you bid.The BidBuddy is available on every auction, to every bidder, there are no restrictions on it other than the fact that you can’t load it up with more bids than you have in your bid bank to spend. You can use the BidBuddy for free and book as many BidBuddies as you have the bids to do.

The BidBuddy is the best and most consistent way to win auctions on DealDash. The BidBuddy will place bids for you by taking turns with the other BidBuddies that are set in a particular auction. It will place a bid for you in the last 2-3 seconds of an auction. You can place or cancel the amount of bids that you want in the BidBuddy. You are in control when using the BidBuddy on DealDash.

Free Bids and TATHB

Free bids are pretty self-explanatory, however, there are many different ways to obtain them. You can receive free bids from DealDash for a variety of things such as sending in pictures and videos of you and your won items. You can also get free bids for just showing up and bidding. Also, you can collect Time As The Highest Bidder (TATHB), and when your time meter has filled up then DealDash will reward you with free bids. You can also receive free bids for filling out your bidder bio, taking the DealDash tutorial, and by writing product reviews when DealDash requests them.

DealDash Tips: Pros & Cons of BidBuddy

By Barbara

Most customers who shop on DealDash.com soon figure out how to find and use BidBuddy – the automated bidder.

In fact, experienced bidders always use BidBuddy for some very good reason. They are:

Pros

  • Last I knew, at least 99 percent of the winners use BidBuddy.
  • If you are busy making dinner, washing clothes or working on your car, no problem. BidBuddy does all the bidding for you, so you don’t have to be glued to your computer.
  • When you use BidBuddy, you can see the screen names of your competition, so you know just how serious your competition might be.

However, there could be some cons to using BidBuddy, too. They are:

Cons

  • When we place our bids in BidBuddy and get busy doing other things, we risk forgetting all about it and might not check back often enough to add more bids if needed.
  • When we allow BidBuddy to do all the work for us, we might get lazy and fail to develop better bidding skills.
  • When BidBuddy places our bids for us we are not as actively engaged in the bidding process as we would be if we placed single bids. Therefore, we are more likely to risk falling asleep at our computer.

As you can see, there are both good and bad reasons why some shoppers might not always use BidBuddy. Regardless how we choose to place our bids in BidBuddy or not, the most important thing to remember when shopping on DealDash is to stay alert and pay attention.

DealDash Tips: Wonder Why They Do That?

Image result for why do that?

Sometimes people do some strange things on DealDash. Have you ever wondered why they do that?

Bidding on DealDash is a fun and unique experience. One of the great things about DealDash is that there are very few rules, and you can bid pretty much however you want. Want to just bid a single bid on every item? Go ahead! Want to bid once a month but bid until you win, even if it’s double the amount of the price in bids? Sure, you can do that too. Everyone’s DealDash experience is different, and since there are so many different people using DealDash at one time you’re bound to come across some people that you have no idea why they would do certain things. Here are a few examples, from DealDash.

Why Would Someone Bid So Many Times?

One of the most common questions I get asked is “Why do people overbid?” and there are a couple of different answers that make sense. One is that they are overbidding in in hopes that they don’t win, they are just bidding to get extra clock time and plan on doing a BIN (Buy It Now).

This is an especially common thing to happen when DealDash is doing one of their 2x or 3x multipliers and you are getting double or even triple the clock time while you are bidding. People who have bid up to the BIN price will often still stay in the auction if there are more than 3 or 4 people still participating. This way they can earn extra clock time and probably won’t win. However, anything is possible on DealDash, and it’s not completely unheard of for an auction with 5 people to end suddenly. So if you like to do this, beware, because you might actually win the item and end up overpaying due to the number of bids that you spent.

Another reason why you might see someone bidding way too many times on an item is that they have a lot of free bids saved up that they want to use. DealDash offers many ways to get free bids, both by bidding and by sending in pictures. Some people look at these free bids as “expendable”, and will overbid to get something that they are interested in.

Why Doesn’t Everyone Use Their BidBuddy?

Personally, I use my BidBuddy every time. However, there are some people who prefer to do single-click bids instead of using the BidBuddy. A reason that they might do this is that they want to appear mysterious or surprising to the other bidders. If you are watching an auction with 5 different BidBuddies battling it out, there is no surprise. They will take turns bidding until there is only 1 left, and they are the winner. Watching an auction that has people who are placing single-click bids are definitely more exciting!
