Stay Tuned to Your DealDash

Some items at DealDash require more attention than others, overtime, you will be able to figure out which auctions you can “set it, and forget it” or you need to stay tuned and be involved. I like the auctions that require you to stay tuned. They are the faster moving items, usually the lower retail value, and it’s just fun to win at DealDash.

For now, you can follow these general tips to decide which items to go for to win quick and for a low retail. First is popularity of item, you can determine this by the number of people in the auction. Simply open an individual auction and you can see how many players there are by the number of avatars, each one represents a player, the fewer the players, the better the odds of winning. Get in on the DealDash auction very early incase it closes for a couple of pennies, and use your Bid Buddy even if you’re only putting in 10 bids. If everyone else makes a mistake right out of the gate, you win! How’s that for pay attention?

These items are generally everyday items that everyone already has, like jewelry, cologne, a pocket book, or a watch. Other low retail items, especially in the toy category will sell low. The exception in the toy category is the gaming system, they are very popular (although that is technology, it’s also a game, it fits both categories.

Price is also an important factor, usually the higher the retail value, the more players in the auction. There are so many players who want the same items and when this happens, this is the auction where you can set it and forget it. This is an auction which you expect to go on and on for hours or even days. If it is an auction that is going on for days, be sure to load enough bids into your Bid Buddy for over night, and assume it will be down to you and one other person for awhile, you’ll want to add extra for those. Tip: A lot of long lasting auctions will end in the wee hours of the morning because a player didn’t load up enough bids and fell asleep.

How long the item has been on the site often has some to do with the popularity. I have found that new items, like today new, will sell low the first day on the site, but then as soon as it catches on, the item gets popular and everyone wants it, so the popularity goes high. Then it levels out, a lot of players have it and there are again, less players in the auction.

There are any number of other reasons to watch the auction you are in. For example, if there is a Bid Multiplier on free bids for your Time As High Bidder(TAHB) because if there is a stomper in the way, you don’t want to lose out on those free bids. It’s better to walk away from the auction, there is always another one. Check the list on the auction to see how often the item is offered, you can tell this by looking at the dates the item was last won. If there are no dates, it’s most likely a new item.

So, low retail, keep an eye on it, high retail, set it and forget it. It’s fun either way.

New Items Added All The Time at DealDash

It’s so much fun to bid and shop at DealDash, and it never gets old because they add new items all the time. As soon as you see a new item that you would like to win, you should go for it. You never know how quickly the item will go. They might keep the item on the site for days, or months, there is really no way of knowing.

There are a few categories where DealDash adds new items to the familiar old items, for example, the art. DealDash has an outstanding selection of Custom Art and I see new paintings and metal art added all the time. Some of the first paintings have now gone, so like with any original art, you have to CarpeDiem!

Other categories that adds new and updated items is video games, they are always adding new games and gaming system. Whenever there is something new to the industry, DealDash may offer it. You do have to check the category often on the home page at DealDash. There is a category for “Electronics and Computers”, so if you are in the market for a new gaming system look there often. These are usually special offers and you must use the “Alert Me” button to have DealDash alert you when it comes on the market. Using the “Alert Me” button sets an alarm at DealDash, and they then send you an email when it does come on the market. This feature can be found in the individual auction, when you find an item you like, open the auction and the button is on the bottom of the auction.

Computers are another category where you should check often. They may have last seasons model which is easier to win, but they get the latest and greatest too, you just have to shop the category and you’ll see when they’re going to be scheduled.

The “New Items” category on the DealDash main page is a great place to see a broad view of all the new offerings at DealDash. This is the best place to have DealDash alert you to when it will be available. Sometimes it takes a few weeks for the item to be scheduled, so check often because the new items change all the time. Then they may only offer it 5 times, so keep on top of your “Bookmarks”.

The best thing to take away with from this article, is that DealDash has a nice rotation of great prizes, some of them stick around for awhile, some come and go and new ones are added all the time. Don’t forget to hit your “Bookmark” or set the “Alert Me” button so you can bid on your favorite new items.

What is Customer Service at DealDash?

If you are wondering if Customer Service is real at DealDash, I can tell you that it is real, alive and well. The CS support team at DealDash is the best I’ve ever dealt with on the internet.

Very often, when you don’t actually have to talk to someone in the customer service department, they don’t seem to have the same respect or care about your issue. But, at DealDash, every customer is treated like someone special. You are what makes the site real.

There are a few ways you can contact Customer Service at DealDash, The quickest and most efficient way is by clicking on the “Contact Support” on the bottom of the main page. When you do that it will bring you to a link where you can either email support, or the quickest way is by hitting the “online support” this will bring you to a live CS rep and they will do everything they can to help you.

If they can’t or don’t have the authority to fix your problem, they will direct the issue to the proper person. Any of the Customer Support Representatives at DealDash are kind, helpful and very efficient.

You simply don’t find this everywhere. I feel like if I am a customer I want to be treated like a customer and not just a number. I used to have a lot of issues when I first started at DealDash, I blamed DD for every little mistake I made, and they handled every issue with respect and imminency. They always answered me right away and with kindness.

Lately, I don’t have any complaints because I’ve come to learn that my mistakes are my mistakes. The DealDash site just does not make any mistakes. Well, once they had some connection-server issues and they gave me a pile of bid to apologize. They are very generous, they always think how this could affect us continuing to use the Dealdash site.

They want us back and they will do what is right to fix anything that might come up. That being said, I never find a problem with the site.

DealDash cares about their customers, they want us to have a wonderful winning experience and they are always there to help.

Don’t underestimate the value of good Customer Service, you will always find it at DealDash!

Bid, Shop, Bid- Planning your Wins

You’ve come to DealDash because you’ve heard about all the good deals players are winning everyday. These wins don’t always just fall in your lap, you have to plan to win. This is so true, DealDash is the most fun you’ll have shopping ever, but many every day items are limited, so it’s a real treat when they come on the market.

There are many items that are on the site everyday, and the most popular of these is the large selection of home decorations, like art and furniture. You will always see a Stand Mixer, a massage chair and lately, a lot of TVs. Ahhh, but the toaster is a treat. Winning your Microwave will take some planning as well. These types of everyday items are also popular, so always plan to BIN, that makes the win so much more sweet.

The best thing to do to get started planning is to actually shop. Type the name of an item in the search bar, for example, “toaster” you will see any toasters that might be on the market now plus all of the toasters scheduled, and any planned scheduled toasters for the future.

DealDash offers an “Alert Me” option in every auction, this is so convenient because you’ve done your shopping, you’ve selected your “Alert Me” tab and now you wait for DealDash to send you an email. The first notice will come about three days before the auction starts. This is a perfect time to check and see when bids are priced lowest this week. Then you buy your lowest priced bids, and wait for your auction to start.

DealDash will get another notice the day of the auction and when the auction is about to start, all you have to do is show up. Now, load up those low priced bids and hope for the win. The fireworks are the best!

Always plan on using the BIN amount of bids, even though most auctions end far below the retail value. To figure the BIN price divide the retail value of the item by the cost of bids and you will have the maximum number of bids to use before you purchase the item. When you bid on items you want or need, you will have more success in the auctions, and then buying the item also makes sense.

So, always do your shopping in advance. If you come to DealDash and bid on items randomly, you will end up with a bunch of things you don’t know what to do with. If you keep your holiday list in mind that will maximize the number of items that “makes sense”. A lot of players, myself included, have their holiday shopping done by the end of September every year. This could be you.
