These DealDash Tips will Make You Think

DealDash

Do you think a lot of about DealDash strategies? I do! Read these tips and find out what I’m thinking…

I do a lot of thinking about DealDash – I think about different strategies, do research on products, compare items, and more. There is so much information that can be learned about DealDash. Read the following tips, and start thinking more about DealDash.

New Products Everywhere

DealDash is the auction site that is always evolving. In my years on the site I have seen a lot of changes. One of my favorite parts of DealDash is the fact that they are constantly switching up their inventory to include new and different items. Some of these items are one-of-a-kind handmade collector pieces that you aren’t able to get just anywhere.

In addition to the rare items, another great thing about DealDash’s inventory is the fact that they often have items up for auction that I was planning on buying anyway, such as pet products and gift-type items such as candles. The best part about bidding on these types of items on DealDash is that if you don’t win you’re able to get all of your bids back if you’re willing to buy the item. And if you were planning on buying something similar anyway, why not?

Using BIN to Get Your Bids Back

Using the Buy It Now (BIN) feature is the way to get all of your bids returned to you if you don’t win an auction. Buying It Now can save you a lot of stress and aggravation when you’re bidding in an auction. If you go into the auction thinking “I’ll just BIN this and get my bids back if I don’t win.” then you are in the right frame of mind to have a fun and stress-free bidding experience.

If you’ve never done a Buy It Now on DealDash, then you’re in for a fast, easy, and fulfilling experience. It only takes about 30 seconds, and you will have all of your bids back that you spent on an auction. The process is simple:

  1. Finish bidding on an item – if you don’t win, then BIN
  2. Look at the auction’s page – you will see a big black box on the right-hand side of the page
  3. In the box, you will see a button that says “Buy this item for ___”
  4. Click the button inside the box
  5. You will be taken to a payment screen
  6. Pay for your item with credit, debit, or even PayPal
  7. See the bids that you spent magically reappear in your account
  8. Wait for your item to arrive (with free shipping!)

This is the best way to keep your bid bank full when using DealDash. There’s no need to buy new bid packs when you receive all of your bids back when you do a BIN! It’s also a great strategy to use because it gives you confidence and a great winning attitude. Think about it!

Think Ahead, Use BidBuddy from the January 20th Blog

The theme of January 20th’s blog was thinking ahead when you use DealDash. The top tip of that blog was to be sure that you do research on the items you are bidding on. The way to do this is to load up your BidBuddy with a few bids to keep yourself active in the auction and not get locked out while you are doing your research. The advice from that blog included:

“If you see an auction that you really want to join but you want to do a little reseach before you make your decision, no problem. Just load up your BidBuddy with 10, 20, 30 bids so you can get some research done.”

If you’d like to read that blog in its entirety, just click this link right here and you can check it out.

You Don’t Need to Be Bidder #1 from January 22nd’s Blog

January 22nd’s blog was all about DealDash strategies that you might not have thought about. The top tip of that blog was explaining how you don’t need to be the first bidder in the auction to have a good shot at winning. From the blog:

“The $5 No Jumper limit was put in place to limit how many bidders can enter an auction at any one time, so the bidders have a better chance of winning. So technically, even if you join the auction at $4.99 then you are still within the rules. However, if there are only 2 or 3 people left in the auction at that point, they are definitely going to notice and not be very happy.”

Be Alerted from the January 24th’s Blog

The blog on January 24th was about how to win an iPhone X from DealDash. There were a few good tips in there, but the tip to remember from that blog was to click the “Alert Me” button on all of the iPhone X auctions so you will know when they are starting – and maybe put a few bids in so you won’t be locked out. From that blog:

“The way that Alert Me works is simple. Just do a search in the DealDash search bar for the auction that you want, and it will come up. If there is no auction for the item currently scheduled, then you can click the button that says Alert Me, and DealDash will send you an email when there has been an auction scheduled for the item.”

All About Jewelry from the January 25th Blog

There was a lot of information about DealDash jewelry in the January 25th blog. This blog listed some of the new jewelry styles that DealDash is now offering, and where to find them Theresa wrote in the blog:

“DealDash has some beautiful new pieces—from rings to bracelets to earrings—that give style a whole new meaning. Browse the New items tab to see what’s new and happening in the Jewelry Category on DealDash! ”

DealDash Tips: Why Didn’t I Think of That?

DealDash

There have been many times on DealDash I have thought to myself “Why didn’t I think of that?” If you feel the same way, read on for more information.

Everyone tends to look at things from a different perspective, and things that are obvious to you might not be clear to me, and vice-versa. In this article, I will tell you about some of the things that I have learned from watching other DealDash bidders. Truly, I have learned quite a bit by just observing many auctions and tons of different bidding styles. Here are some tips I’ve learned from watching other bidders on DealDash.

You Don’t Need to be the First Bidder

Before I really got heavily into DealDash bidding I did quite a bit of research by reading different articles online. Many of these articles seemed to suggest that unless you join the auction in the very beginning then the other bidders would be upset if you joined in later. Now, this might be the case if you join in the last few bids before the auction reaches the $5 No Jumper limit. However, if you join at the $3 or $4 mark, for example, no one will most likely notice or care.

The $5 No Jumper limit was put in place to limit how many bidders can enter an auction at any one time, so the bidders have a better chance of winning. So technically, even if you join the auction at $4.99 then you are still within the rules. However, if there are only 2 or 3 people left in the auction at that point, they are definitely going to notice and not be very happy. This can make them fight even harder and longer for the auction because they feel that you are “late to the game”. In short, you can save bids by not joining an auction until closer to $5, but personally, I wouldn’t join too close to $5.

Want Free Bids? Use the Time Clock

When I first started bidding on DealDash, I could never understand why people would stay in an auction when they clearly weren’t going to win. For example, you can see when everyone placed their first bid – so why would someone who placed their first bid at $.02 and have been continuously bidding still be trying to win a $10 gift card whose auction value is currently $7? They have obviously put in way more than $3 worth of bids, which would be their break-even point. The answer is Time As The Highest Bidder (TATHB).

TATHB is when you get time on your time clock for each of the 10 seconds or so that you are the highest bidder. Once you have filled up your time clock, then DealDash will give you free bids. Once this bidder realized that they had put in enough bids to break even on the gift card and decided to do a BIN (Buy It Now) to get all of their bids back, yet saw that there were still 20 people still in the auction, it just makes sense to keep bidding! They figure that they might as well rack up some time on their time clock as the highest bidder to get their free bids faster. If there are more than 5 people in an auction it’s very unlikely that the auction will end abruptly with everyone canceling their bids at the same time. However, it CAN happen, so do this at your own risk.

BidBuddy, Your Best Bid Saver

A great way to think before you leap is to use the BidBuddy. If you see an auction that you really want to join but you want to do a little reseach before you make your decision, no problem. Just load up your BidBuddy with 10, 20, 30 bids so you can get some research done. This method works in two different ways – first, you won’t be locked out of the bidding if the auction reaches the $5 No Jumper limit, and second, the auction could end early. If you have loaded up your BidBuddy while you do some research and the auction ends early, you’ll win! Talk about a win-win situation!

Collect Free Bids Every Day

What better way to think before you leap than by getting FREE bids. DealDash has many opportunities for you to win and earn free bids. Simply sign in to DealDash every single day and they will give you free bids. You’ll need to bid on DealDash for 7 consecutive days to get the maximum amount of free bids. The free bids range from 5 to 30.
