DealDash Tips – Winning Great Things is Easy

dealdash great things

Winning great things on DealDash is easy. Here are some hints and tips to get the most out of your bids.

Playing on DealDash is fun and exciting. How often are you a winner? Winning on DealDash doesn’t have to be hard. There are plenty of great things to be won. You just have to follow these simple tips and you will be winning great things in no time!

Bid at the Right Time

Bidding on DealDash at the right time is paramount to your success. When is the right time? When there are not a lot of other bidders, of course! DealDash has 8 million registered users, though, so finding a time when the auctions are empty isn’t so simple. Since DealDash is used by people across the United States, you have to think about time zones. When it’s midnight on the East Coast, and we are falling asleep at the keyboard it’s only 9 PM over in California. If you’re on the East Coast, perhaps setting your alarm an hour earlier in the morning to bid when those Californians are asleep might be a better option. Play around with it. You’ll figure out what times work best for you.

Bid on the Right Items

Great things don’t necessarily have to be super-expensive! If you’re coming on DealDash thinking that you’re going to win a TV, laptop, or high-end kitchen appliance every time you’re probably going to be disappointed. There are many many great things on DealDash that aren’t hundreds of dollars such as jewelry, smaller kitchen accessories, and sports equipment.

Have Fun While You Bid

Bidding on DealDash should be fun! If you’re sitting at your computer angry and stressed out that someone else is winning, maybe it’s time to set your BidBuddy and walk away. Years ago, when I first started using DealDash it would stress me out to watch the auctions as they were going on. I soon learned that it was much more satisfying to me to set my BidBuddy for the number of bids to reach the BIN (Buy It Now) price of an auction, leave the computer open, but walk away. When I came back a few hours later I could still have the satisfaction of seeing the fireworks if I won, but I wouldn’t feel tense by watching the whole auction play out.

DealDash Tips for Losing Gracefully

dealdash tipsEveryone loses sometimes on DealDash, but there are always more auctions to win. Here are some tips for losing gracefully from DealDash.

There are hundreds and hundreds of auctions every day on DealDash, however, DealDash is the most popular pay-to-bid auction site, so there is some stiff competition. Everyone wants to win, of course!  You have to remember that there is always another bidder waiting in the wings for when you make a mistake, too. Everyone wants to win the auction as much as you do, and there is only one winner per auction. Losing gracefully is a good skill to have, here are some tips from DealDash to help you.

Be Observant, Even When Losing

Be sure that you are observing the other bidders when you are on DealDash, even when it’s clear that you aren’t going to win. By observing the other bidders who are winning you can learn things their bidding styles, their endurance, and whether or not they use their BidBuddies.

When it’s clear that I’m not going to win an auction I stop bidding and stay to watch. By watching the other bidders I can pick up some handy tips and tricks that I might miss out on if I closed the laptop and walked away. Don’t be pouty when you don’t win, you can always BIN!

BINning is Almost as Good as Winning

If you have spent more than a few bids in a DealDash auction you need to be using the BIN (Buy It Now) feature. When you BIN an auction that you didn’t win you get exactly the amount of bids that you placed back into your account. You can use these bids again the same day or save them for later, it’s your choice. You will also receive free shipping on all BINS as well as wins, of course. Since you have everything back that you originally started with, I wouldn’t consider that much of a loss!

DealDash Tips to Understand Terms

dealdash word cloud

Are you a little puzzled by some of the terms and acronyms used on DealDash? We’ve gone over these before, but for the newbies who don’t know, let DealDash Tips explain them.

What do all of these strange words that DealDash uses mean? What in the world is a “TATHB”? A “Winner’s Tab?” These words and phrases are a little strange, and I don’t blame you a bit for not understanding what some of these DealDash terms mean. They are easy to understand once you get the hang of it, though! Here are some of the most common DealDash words, phrases, and acronyms that you might see when using DealDash.

BIN/Buy It Now

BIN and Buy It Now mean the same thing. BIN means that you have placed bids in a DealDash auction and didn’t win, but you may purchase the item for retail value and receive all of your bids back. BIN is a very common DealDash word, and you will hear and see it around the site very frequently. DealDash is the only pay-to-bid sites that offer a BIN gurantee.

TATHB/Time As The Highest Bidder/Bid Meter

TATHB is another unique bonus that DealDash offers it’s customers. For every second that you are the highest bidder, you earn time on your Bid Meter. Your Bid Meter is located at the bottom of your screen and fills up when you are the highest bidder. Once your meter is full then DealDash will give you FREE bids.

BidBuddy

The BidBuddy is DealDash’s automated bidding tool. Instead of having to sit in front of your computer for hours, just fill your BidBuddy up with bids and it will bid for you in any auction that you choose. Bidders love the BidBuddy, he’s the only way that you can consistantly win auctions.

Winner’s Tab

The Winner’s Tab is located at the top of your screen. If you click on the tab it will open up a list of every single auction that has taken place, the latest auctions are at the top. You can see what the item was, who won the item, when they won it, and the final auction price. This tab is extremely handy when trying to figure out what price an auction might end at, and who has recently won auctions.

DealDash Tips to Win Bigger Auctions

DealDash Tips Purple Galaxy

Everyone wants to be a big winner, but are you winning big auctions? High-value auctions are harder to win. Here are some tips from DealDash.

High -value items are very difficult to win because there is so much competition for the big and expensive items. However, if you read this blog you will learn some ways to be more likely to win these big ticket items. Here is the article that you need to be paying attention to and taking notes if you want to win big on DealDash.

Identify Power Bidders

If you ever want to have any hope of winning any of the bigger ticket and more popular items you’re going to have to know who the Power Bidders are and try to avoid them. In previous DealDash Tips articles I have suggested taking notes and taking down the names of bidders who just won’t quit. Well, if you have been paying attention and following my suggestions, now your persistence will pay off.

If you see a larger auction with a higher-value item that you would like to enter then you should throw in a few bids and wait. Once the auction has reached the $5 “No Jumper” limit, then you will be able to see the name of all of the people who are allowed to bid in that particular auction. Look at the names of all of the bidders and try to match them up with your list of people who just won’t quit. If you don’t see anyone on your list that is allowed to bid in this auction, then I would feel comfortable trying to win. However, if you see not only one, but even two, three, or four “known” Power Bidders, then I would suggest that you sit this one out and try another time.

Is This the Best Time to Bid?

If you’re interested in winning a big auction for an item such as a TV, PS4, XBox One, drone, or large piece of furniture or exercise equipment then you should really pay attention to timing. If DealDash is currently running one of their awesome FREE or half-priced promotions it’s a great time to win smaller items. However, it might not be the best time to try and bid on a very expensive and coveted item. Why? Because when DealDash runs these great promotions then it gets extremely busy on DealDash. Which is a lot of fun for bidding on things like gift cards, kid’s items, and jewelry, but if you’re looking for your “big score,” then bidding when DealDash traffic is at it’s peak might not be the best plan.

I hope that you found this new DealDash article on big wins helpful. Reading the DealDash Tips Blog and our sister blog DealDash Reviews daily is one way to stay “in the loop” when it comes to DealDash news and events.
