However, tomorrow is New Year’s Day, and you know that DealDash wouldn’t let a major national holiday go by without a great sale! The bids will be at an all-time low of .12, and all wins will be FREE! Well, technically they will be .01, for processing, but it’s so much more fun to say free, free, FREE!

This is good for all auctions that start tomorrow, even if the auction lasts through the night and into the next day. As long as you start bidding on an auction with the price crossed out and the words “Free” it will be .01 no matter when it ends. This would be a great time to start bidding on a high-priced item that you plan on BINning (Buy It Now) anyway because it’s very easy to figure out exactly how many bids that you need to place to bid it up to the BIN limit. Figuring out how many bids to place into the BidBuddy is always a little tricky when you are bidding on a full or even half-priced auction.

DealDash Promotions Explained

If you’re new to DealDash or a seasoned bidder, you still might not understand how all of the DealDash promotions work on the site. Let me clear that up for you.

DealDash runs many different promotions, there is a new one going pretty much every day. On this blog we try to tell you about the biggest promotions that are happening, but there are smaller sales and promotions that go on as well. If you’re curious about how the different DealDash promotions work, read on, and I will explain the promotions for you.

For example, some days the bids might cost 18 cents on DealDash. That is a huge improvement from the 60 cents that some of us have paid in the past! Other days, the bids might be 14 cents, and on very special occasions I have seen the bids go as low as 12 cents! That’s amazing! When the bids are low-priced, be sure to buy bigger bid packs. That way, you have more spending power than someone who bought bids at a higher price.

Other than the bid sales, there are half-off auction sales, and Free Auction Weekends sometimes as well. Those days tend to be extremely busy on DealDash, and for good reason – on half-off auction days you only have to pay 50% of the final auction fee. And of course, on Free Auction Weekends, you only have to pay 1 penny as the final auction fee.

If you’re a regular on DealDash, you are probably used to the $5 No Jumper auctions. However, on very special promotion days, DealDash lowers the No Jumper limit to only $3! That means that no one can place a bid and win the auction unless they placed a bid before $3. This leads to lower final auction fees because there is significantly less competition on $3 No Jumper auction days.

Stay Organized when Bidding at DealDash

It’s so easy to get started at DealDash bidding that you might get a little carried away by all the fun and lose track of some important information. It’s a good idea to keep a DealDash Journal. I had one in the beginning, I used it for at least six months. The information would help me make educated decisions when bidding in my auctions at DealDash.

At first, I didn’t even use Bid Buddy, that is not only disorganized, it’s a hot mess! Using Bid Buddy will ensure you don’t overbid, something that is very important, especially if you are bidding on a budget. Use Bid Buddy to help you stay organized.

Keep a list of the players who “won’t quit for anyone” It helps to know who beat you by overbidding or power bidding. After time, this information will become something you know, but at first there is so much to remember, you will do yourself a favor to keep track of some players with notes. I like to remind myself which auction they beat me in or which was close. Then you can make better decisions when bidding against them again.

Keep track of your wins, I like to keep a real time list going on my desk, this helps me stay organized when bidding, and I can glance over to see what I’ve won and if I exchanged it for bids, how many bids did I get for it. This is an advantage to bidding at DealDash, if you win an item and then decided you don’t want it, they will let you exchange it for a number of bids, determined by the items popularity. The more popular, the higher the number of bids.

Don’t forget to write down every time you make a purchase, it will give you a visual, and keep you on budget. You can be bidding and not pay attention to how much you are spending. So, keep a list of your expenses.

It’s fun to bid, but to win more, keep track of these few details, it will help you in the long run. Also, after some time, you will remember most of this without notes, it’s just in the beginning. Staying organized helps you win, and it makes you feel good too!
