DealDash Top Tips Round-Up 10/18

In case you missed it last week, DealDash has a new series called Top Tip Round Up. Today we are going to round up some of the top tips for you from last week. Read on for more info.

Place a Bid before $5 from October 10th’s Blog

Maybe you missed Barbara’s article on October 10th, and the top tip from that blog is to be sure that you place at least 1 bid before the auction reaches $5. This is because DealDash has a $5 No Jumper rule which means that only people who have placed a bid before the auction reaches $5 may participate in the auction. Here’s what Barbara said about the topic:

It might be a good idea to place more than one bid in the beginning of each auction just in case it closes early, but you will save bids by waiting until the auction gets down to the last two or three bidders before you place the bulk of your bids into BidBuddy.

Using the BidBuddy is the number one way to not feel like you are alone when you are bidding in auctions. He might not be a real person, but he is an excellent companion. If you haven’t met the BidBuddy yet, he is a useful tool that DealDash gives (free of charge) to everyone, in every auction.You can put in as many or as few bids as you like. You can cancel it or add more bids at any time. Your BidBuddy will take turns bidding with the other BidBuddies that are set until there are no more bids placed from BidBuddies or other bidders. After the last bid has been placed, that person (or BidBuddy) is the winner.

Tips to Winning Your Way on DealDash

Winning is great, but winning your way is even better. Here are some tips to win your way on DealDash.

Are you good at following along with what everyone else is doing, or do you like to do things your own way? Are you less of a follower and more of a leader? If so, then why would you want to win the same way as everyone else? The great thing about DealDash is that you can mostly do things your own way. Read on for more information, from DealDash.

Bid on What You Like

DealDash isn’t like those other bidding sites that have so few things up for bid. There is a ton of selection on DealDash. Just about anything that you can dream, DealDash has it! You can get things like gift cards, computers, home items, kid’s toys, baby supplies, and even shoes and clothing! DealDash has it all, and it’s just up to you to decide what you want to win. No one makes that decision for you, bid on what you like.

Bid How You Like

Do you want to do single bids? GO for it! Do you want to use the BidBuddy? Have at it! Maybe a combination of the two? Definitely! You bid how you like. You do you!

Tips to Re-Do Your DealDash Bedroom

Do you love your bedroom? If not, it’s time to go to DealDash and re-do one of the most important rooms in the house.

The bedroom is one of the most used in the house – typically for around eight hours at a time, or more! If you don’t completely love your bedroom, then it’s time to make a change. How should you go about doing that? Let DealDash help, of course! Read on for more information.

Figure Out a Plan

What exactly do you not love about your bedroom? Maybe it’s the color of the walls or the carpet. Maybe it’s your bed or your sheets. Maybe it’s even your curtains. Once you have figured out what you would like to change, then the fun can begin. However, it can’t begin until you have figured out this first step.

If It’s the Walls

If your main complaint with your bedroom is the color of the walls, no problem. You can fix that in a few different ways. The first, and most obvious is painting them. You can completely re-do them or you could just paint one accent wall or even a border.

If you can’t paint, for whatever reason, then you can do this the hard way or the easy way. The hard way is stick-on wallpaper. This isn’t the wallpaper from the 1970’s, it’s just peel and stick – and then peel again when you want to take it off. It is the perfect solution for renters who want to change the entire color of a wall. I say that this is the hard way because it takes quite a bit of effort to peel and stick an entire wall, and you will most likely need a step-stool or ladder to reach the top of the wall.

The easier way is to do smaller wall decorations. Some people like to hang fabric tapestries, or you can always just hang up posters, picture frames, or artwork.

Changing up the walls will be easy with some help from DealDash. You can get a gift card for Lowes for the paint, or you can win yourself some art to cover smaller spaces. It’s up to you!

Maybe it’s Your Bed

Is it your bed that you’re not crazy about? A comfortable mattress is a must.
