Gift Card Tips on DealDash

screenshot-17Gift cards are an extremely popular item on DealDash, why do people like them so much? Well, let me tell you.

For starters, DealDash has an excellent variety of many different types of gift cards. Here is just a quick list of some of the gift cards that DealDash often has up for bid:

  • Toys R Us
  • Bath and Body Works
  • Bass Pro Shops
  • Target
  • Wal*Mart
  • CVS
  • K-Mart
  • Sears
  • Shell gas station
  • Lowe’s
  • Old Navy
  • American Airlines
  • Panera Bread
  • Many, Many, Many more

DealDash keeps up with the changing trends, and even occasionally has gift cards for new online businesses such as Swap.com and EcocentricMom.com – which I have won and enjoyed both. I think that it’s such a great idea for DealDash to pair up with new and small businesses, it’s really win-win-win, for the small business, for DealDash, and for us as customers.

Unfortunately, I have found that the smaller $10 and $25 ones are more difficult to win than the larger $50, $100, and up gift cards. I feel that the reason behind this is that most people don’t mind taking a chance on a $10 or $25 gift card to a restaurant or store that they often go to anyway, such as Panera Bread or Dunkin’ Donuts.

DealDash has a wonderful feature that many people take advantage of called BIN (Buy It Now). That means that if a person doesn’t WIN the gift card outright, then they can always BIN (Buy It Now) and get the gift card, free shipping, and all of their bids back to use on another auction. Not only that, but they get to keep the “clock time” that they gained by bidding on the gift card.

Gift cards obviously make for good gifts, but they have so many other uses as well. Here is a list of some of the different ways that you can use the gift cards that you win or BIN from DealDash:

  1. Rewards for good grades
  2. Allowance money
  3. Budgeting tool so you don’t overspend
  4. Raffle prize
  5. Give as a donation
  6. Teacher appreciation
  7. Back to school shopping – let your teen shop alone without fear of losing the cash
  8. As a “thank you” to postal worker, garbage man, etc.
  9. As a tip at a restaurant
  10. As a way to shop online without using your credit card

I hope that you found this DealDash Tips article helpful. As you can see, there are many reasons to shop for gift cards on DealDash. Visit DealDash now to check out the auctions. Good luck and happy bidding everyone!

When Can I WIN on DealDash?

screenshot-16A very popular question that DealDash hears is “What is the best time of day to bid on the auctions?” Let’s try to figure it out together.

When do you usually bid on DealDash? A few years ago, when I first started bidding regularly on DealDash I was bidding at the worst possible times! In my opinion, the worst possible times to bid on DealDash are in the evening after dinner, and in the later evening before bed. These times might work for you, and there’s no harm in giving them a try.

Being on the East Coast, I have always felt that we are at a bit of a disadvantage due to the time difference. That just means that us East-Coasters just have to be a little trickier than our West Coast counterparts. No matter what timezone you live in, there will always be lots of competition, DealDash is a very popular shopping entertainment website.

Now that I have told you the worst times to bid, let me tell you what I have found to be the best time…I have always had excellent luck in the morning, around 5-8 AM EST or so. I think that the reason that I have such good luck than is because most people on the East Coast are getting ready for work, or getting their kids ready for school, or still sleeping if they don’t have to do those things. At 5-8 AM EST I wager that most of the West Coast people are still sleeping.

You might think that super late at night, such as 12-3AM EST might be a good time to bid, but I have never had the best luck at those times. However, DealDash customers are savvy enough to change-up their bidding styles and times fairly often, so it’s smart to check the “Winners” tab on DealDash to see if the auctions seem to be going for lower or higher prices and bid accordingly.

Learning new things can only help you, and I hope that you have found this DealDash Tips article helpful. If any of you readers have other DealDash questions, please write a comment down below. Go ahead and go check out DealDash now, and see if now is a good time to bid. Good luck and happy bidding everyone!

DealDash and Facebook

DealDash is so much fun, you’ll want to add the Facebook element to your experience.  You already know Facebook is a fun place to talk to friends, find out what’s going on in the world or just look at pictures of cute kittens, so when you add DealDash to the picture, it’s more fun because you can earn free bids, and here is how.

DealDash has a wonderful Facebook page where you can share your experiences with other players, make comments about your wins, and share or read reviews.  There is anyone from the “Newbie” to the “Seasoned Pro” visiting the Facebook page.  I like to go there at least once a day, this way I catch up on the latest sales posted and …..well, see cute pictures of kittens!  DealDash does that too.

Each week DealDash has a contest for 1000 bids to see who takes the best photo of themselves for their Facebook page and other Social Media.  All you have to do is take a photo of yourself or a friend holding your win,  and send the picture to [email protected] via an attachment.  Be sure to include a comment about the value of the items and what you paid for it.

Also include, a brief comment about you’re experience.  If you’re creative, DealDash notices!  You will receive 350 bids for items valued over $199 just for posting and a handful of bids for the lower valued prizes.  There are complete instructions on the DealDash Facebook Page.   There you can find any information about DealDash, you just have to poke around.

I’ve found some of my best tips on the Facebook Page, especially the value of items, sometimes you just don’t realize what fantastic prizes they have at DealDash until you read about them on the Facebook page.  They do a nice job of bringing to the platform some of the most creative and ingenious gifts I’ve ever seen.

I’m sure you will love visiting the DealDash Facebook Page, don’t miss out on the fun, don’t miss out on getting a few tips and certainly don’t miss seeing all the smiles from the hundreds of people who win everyday at DealDash!

Ukuleles and Guitars at DealDash

DealDash has a really nice selection of Guitars for the beginner. If you want to learn the guitar or ukulele or you might know someone who does, you can win one at DealDash for just a few bids.  I did and it was a great gift item.  These are considered “special” items and are usually offered “occasionally”.  If you see one posted for sale, be sure to Bookmark it so you don’t miss the auction.

Euk 49The Kona Ukulele retails for $49 and is a fairly easy win at DealDash, I used less than 50 bids to win it and paid about $1. The other guitars they carry at DealDash are designed for beginners.

silvertone essential guitar 100The Silvertone Essential Acoustic Guitar Pack retails for $100 and is a fairly easy win, what I’ve see is all the seasoned pros have won this item or bypassed it, so if you want one I would suggest you rack up the BIN amount of bids and go ahead and win it! If you want to figure out the cost of a BIN this guitar retails for $100 so you would divide the cost of the item by the price of bids and you are left with the number of bids to use for BIN.  $100./.15=667 bids. That is the number of bids you would set into your Bid Buddy, the Bid Buddy will bid for you in your place, it ensures you don’t overbid.

silvertone SD3000 black 89The Silvertone SD3000 Acoustic Guitar Pack in Black is only $89, so the BIN bids would equal 89./.15=593.  This is also a BIN item, you can easily win this, but if you don’t you can buy it after 593 bids, then DealDash will give you all your bids back you used in the auction.

dummies guitar 114The Acoustic for Dummies is also a choice for the real and true beginner.  This guitar is only $114 and it comes with a book to explain all the ins and outs of beginning guitar.

The guitars listed here are easy to win, but you do have to watch the auction, if there are some known overbidders, keep an eye on them.  Don’t get into a bidding war over a guitar, you can win this item with just a few bids, if there is someone who really wants it they may be willing to overbid, don’t let this happen to you.  Just walk away, If your reach the BIN number of bid just buy it and get your bids back.

Good Luck and Happy Bidding!!!
