Gift cards are an extremely popular item on DealDash, why do people like them so much? Well, let me tell you.
For starters, DealDash has an excellent variety of many different types of gift cards. Here is just a quick list of some of the gift cards that DealDash often has up for bid:
- Toys R Us
- Bath and Body Works
- Bass Pro Shops
- Target
- Wal*Mart
- CVS
- K-Mart
- Sears
- Shell gas station
- Lowe’s
- Old Navy
- American Airlines
- Panera Bread
- Many, Many, Many more
DealDash keeps up with the changing trends, and even occasionally has gift cards for new online businesses such as Swap.com and EcocentricMom.com – which I have won and enjoyed both. I think that it’s such a great idea for DealDash to pair up with new and small businesses, it’s really win-win-win, for the small business, for DealDash, and for us as customers.
Unfortunately, I have found that the smaller $10 and $25 ones are more difficult to win than the larger $50, $100, and up gift cards. I feel that the reason behind this is that most people don’t mind taking a chance on a $10 or $25 gift card to a restaurant or store that they often go to anyway, such as Panera Bread or Dunkin’ Donuts.
DealDash has a wonderful feature that many people take advantage of called BIN (Buy It Now). That means that if a person doesn’t WIN the gift card outright, then they can always BIN (Buy It Now) and get the gift card, free shipping, and all of their bids back to use on another auction. Not only that, but they get to keep the “clock time” that they gained by bidding on the gift card.
Gift cards obviously make for good gifts, but they have so many other uses as well. Here is a list of some of the different ways that you can use the gift cards that you win or BIN from DealDash:
- Rewards for good grades
- Allowance money
- Budgeting tool so you don’t overspend
- Raffle prize
- Give as a donation
- Teacher appreciation
- Back to school shopping – let your teen shop alone without fear of losing the cash
- As a “thank you” to postal worker, garbage man, etc.
- As a tip at a restaurant
- As a way to shop online without using your credit card
I hope that you found this DealDash Tips article helpful. As you can see, there are many reasons to shop for gift cards on DealDash. Visit DealDash now to check out the auctions. Good luck and happy bidding everyone!

The Kona Ukulele retails for $49 and is a fairly easy win at DealDash, I used less than 50 bids to win it and paid about $1. The other guitars they carry at DealDash are designed for beginners.
The Silvertone Essential Acoustic Guitar Pack retails for $100 and is a fairly easy win, what I’ve see is all the seasoned pros have won this item or bypassed it, so if you want one I would suggest you rack up the BIN amount of bids and go ahead and win it! If you want to figure out the cost of a BIN this guitar retails for $100 so you would divide the cost of the item by the price of bids and you are left with the number of bids to use for BIN. $100./.15=667 bids. That is the number of bids you would set into your Bid Buddy, the Bid Buddy will bid for you in your place, it ensures you don’t overbid.
The Silvertone SD3000 Acoustic Guitar Pack in Black is only $89, so the BIN bids would equal 89./.15=593. This is also a BIN item, you can easily win this, but if you don’t you can buy it after 593 bids, then
The Acoustic for Dummies is also a choice for the real and true beginner. This guitar is only $114 and it comes with a book to explain all the ins and outs of beginning guitar.
