DealDash Tips: Don’t Forget to Bid!

DealDash

Have you ever seen an item on DealDash and thought “I gotta have that!” but then you forget to come back and bid on the item? That is so frustrating! Here are some tips from DealDash to prevent that from happening again.

Picture it, you are browsing around on DealDash and see the perfect item for your home, family, or friend. You think to yourself “I’ll come back later when the bidding is open on this item. Then you walk away and forget about the item. Later you think “Oh no!! I missed that auction!!” I can’t even tell you how many times that has happened to me over the years. It’s a really frustrating experience that doesn’t have to happen to you again! DealDash has implemented a few handy ways that you can prevent this from happening again.

Alerts for the Future

If you have been browsing for something special in an upcoming auction and you spot the item of your dreams it would be a shame to miss out on it. However, if the item isn’t scheduled yet, then you have run into a pickle since you can’t set a BidBuddy for an item that doesn’t have a scheduled start time.

No problem, ladies and gentlemen! DealDash has something called “Alerts” that you can set for the future. You can set an alert for anything in the DealDash product catalog that there isn’t currently an auction scheduled to start soon. Search for anything that you would like or need, and click on the picture when it comes up. If there isn’t an auction scheduled for that item in the near future you will see a little button that says “Alert Me”. Just click that button and DealDash will send you an email when they have scheduled an auction that that item, and then again when it is about to start. I have set alerts for a few things over the years that I ended up with such as my “no touch” stainless garbage can and my automatic cat box. I love the alerts feature because I have a terrible memory!

Bookmarking for the Present

Bookmarking is more for when you are browsing the auctions for the next few hours. If you are on the main page of DealDash you can look ahead for the next 24 hours or so. Bookmarking is so you can remember where an auction is that is starting soon so you don’t need to search for it again. You can bookmark any auctions that you see that have a starting time. If you’re not sure if you want to book a BidBuddy for a particular auction or not, then bookmarking is your next best plan. Simply click the star in the upper right corner, and the auction will be moved to your home page where the active auctions are.

Snow Day DealDash Bidding Tips

DealDash

Happy snow day, everyone! Today is the perfect day to curl up with a hot coffee and bid on DealDash. Here are some tips for today.

Are you going to be doing a lot of bidding today if you’re stuck inside? Sounds like a good plan to me! If you’re going to be doing a lot of bidding you’ll want to keep these DealDash tips in mind so you can win more and save more bids. Read on for more information from DealDash.

Watch Carefully

You should try to watch each auction before you jump into the bidding. There are lots of things that you can learn just by watching the auction. For example, you can figure out who is using a BidBuddy if you watch carefully enough. If you are a new bidder and haven’t figured out how to tell who’s using a BidBuddy, it’s easy. Just look for patterns in the bidder’s name. They will bid in the exact same order with around 2 seconds left on the clock.

Speaking of BidBuddy

Once you see that pretty much everyone is using the BidBuddy, you’ll want to use him, too. The BidBuddy is how the majority of people win auctions on DealDash. Using the BidBuddy makes sense because you will never have an instance of bidding too slowly and missing out on an auction. Also, if you’re bidding on a snowy day like today then you have to worry about power outages and internet interruptions. With the BidBuddy you don’t have to worry about these things. As long as you have put bids into the BidBuddy he will keep bidding for you even if your power goes out or you lose your internet connection. That’s an important tip to keep in mind on a snow day!

January’s DealDash Tips You Shouldn’t Ignore

DealDash

Here are some tips for January that you shouldn’t ignore. Keep them in mind and you’ll find yourself winning! Read on for more information from DealDash.

I hope you have all been having a lovely January so far. It’s been so cold and snowy recently most people have been staying inside other than snow blowing. When you’re stuck inside there’s no better pastime than spending some time on DealDash! Here are some tips that you shouldn’t be ignored in January.

Don’t Follow the Crowd

You’ve heard it before, be a leader, not a follower! Check the Winner’s Tab on the main DealDash homepage. See what items are being won for higher prices. Do you see that everyone is bidding on a certain item or even just in a certain category? Once you have figured out what’s popular on DealDash on that particular day – avoid it! There’s no need to follow the crowd on DealDash.

Think about it, DealDash has millions of registered users, but they all don’t use the site every day. On certain days there will be people that are interested in outdoor items, other days there might be people who are more interested in baby items. If you are interested in baby items on the same day that people seem to be trending towards baby items – bid on something else that day! Come back another day for the baby items.

Avoid Bidders You have Battled and Lost

If you’ve been on DealDash for a while you probably have started to recognize certain bidder’s names, especially if you tend to stick to the same types of items and categories. If you find that you have gotten into a hard battle with someone and lost you might want to try avoid another battle with the same person in the near future.

The reason is simple! If you have recently lost to a person after a battle then they will probably remember your username…And how the beat you. They will think that you aren’t as tough to beat. This is not necessarily true, of course, but they will think it, even if it’s unconscious thinking. Of course, when I say “a battle” with them I don’t mean that they are one of 5 or 6 or 7 people that you were just bidding against in an auction, I am speaking of a 1-on-1 situation.

DealDash Tips: Get the Most For Your Money

DEALDASH BIDS

Are you getting the most out of your money on DealDash? Read these tips and find out.

Let’s face it, DealDash is a fun place to spend money! With all of the bidding, it’s easy to use up your bidding budget pretty quickly if you aren’t paying attention. DealDash tips is here to help you make sure that you’re getting the most for your money. Read the following tips, and the next time you are using DealDash try to think about them and use them. Read on for more information.

Buying Bids

If you’ve been on DealDash for a little bit you’ll have noticed that the price of bids fluctuates every day. When you buy your first bid pack at .60 per bid you won’t get as many bids for your money as when you can catch a great sale at .13 or .14 per bid. When every new bidder starts they have to buy their first bid pack at .60 per bid. After that, though, they are eligible to take advantage of DealDash’s sale priced bids.

Using BIN to Get Your Bids Back

Using the Buy It Now (BIN) feature is the best way to get the most out of your money when using DealDash. Simply put, if you’re not doing a BIN when you don’t win an auction you’re just throwing money away. Of course, this doesn’t apply if you’re just throwing 10 bids here and 5 bids there. But if you are bidding seriously at 100+ bids, then you should be Buying It Now.

Using BIN is easy! You can immediately do a BIN on an auction that you have been bidding in, even if the auction hasn’t ended yet. On every auction, you will see a big black box on the right-hand side of the page where you can see the details of the ongoing auction. At the bottom of the box, you will see a button that says “Buy this item for ___” When you have decided that you don’t want to bid anymore, just click that box. After you have paid for the item DeaDash will refund all of your bids that you used to try and win this particular item. Yes. Every single one.

This is the best way to get the most out of your money on DealDash. You can recycle your bids as many times as you would like to on DealDash. Just be sure that you are bidding on things that you would normally buy anyway, such as towels, sheets, and other housewares. This way you will make you dollars stretch even further.
