Tips From DealDash – How Many Bids?

DealDash Bids

Today we are going to take a moment to talk about DealDash bids. How many bids should you be buying and spending? Read on to find out.

Today’s topic is all about bids. How many bids should you be buying? How many bids should you spend in an auction? How many bids are needed to reach the BIN (Buy It Now) price? All of these questions and more will be answered in today’s DealDash Tips article.

How Many Should I buy?

The answer to this is easy! If the price of bids is high you should only buy the bare minimum needed to bid that particular day. You might think “What does it matter if the bid price is .14 or .18? Well, it matters a lot! If you have $100 to spend on bids today, and the price of bids is .18, then you can buy around 555 bids. That’s a nice chunk of bids, however, if you had bought them the previous day when the price was .14, you would have gotten 714 for the same amount of money! The per-bid price really does make a huge difference. So, in short, when bid prices are low, stock up!

For some people spending $100 on bids is a lot of money, their whole “fun” budget for the month. For other people, that’s just a couple of lunches at a restaurant, no biggie.  Most people probably fall somewhere in-between these two extremes, so figure out your budget and buy as many bids as you can when they are on a good sale.

How Many Should I Spend?

When thinking about how many bids you should spend, you need to keep your own personal bidding budget in mind. If you have tons of bids in your bid bank then you can afford to throw them around a little, whereas if you only have the bare minimum, maybe you should save them until you can buy/win/earn some more.

How Many Bids to the BIN Price?

Figuring out how many bids to reach the BIN price is easy in theory. If it happens to be a free auction weekend then things are easy! Just take the retail price that’s listed on the auction and divide it by the price that you paid for each bid. For example, $25 divided by .14 equals 178. However, if it’s not a free auction weekend then you are going to have to get a little more creative and estimate the price that the auction will end, and do the math from there.

DealDash Tips to Beat Everyone

dealdash tips

Going into an auction your plan is to beat everyone, correct? Here are some helpful tips from DealDash to accomplish your mission.

No one goes into an auction thinking that they are going to lose. They know that the odds are stacked against them, but they have hope that they will be the winner. There are some things that you should (and should not do) when you are participating in an auction to help your chances of winning. Follow these simple and easy tips and tricks from DealDash Tips to take your winning up a notch!

Be Prepared

Make sure that you are always prepared when you enter into an auction. Do your research, purchase your bids, and take a peek at your competition. It’s a smart idea to just place one bid in the very beginning so you can see who is participating in the auction and ensuring that you aren’t locked out of bidding. I don’t suggest that you “jump in” at $4.99 when the auction is just about to be locked, that’s just rude. However, I do advise that you let the auction play out for at least a dollar or so just so you can have a good idea who is going to be participating in the auction with you.

Take Your Bidding Seriously

Yes, take your bidding seriously. Don’t try to do a lot of multitasking when you’re bidding in a DealDash auction. If you’re trying to make dinner, help the kids with homework, chat on the phone, and bid then it’s not going to go well. You should be paying close attention when you’re playing on DealDash. Of course, you can turn on the BidBuddy and walk away to do things. However, I personally sit and watch the auction even with BidBuddy doing the work for me, especially if it’s an item that is important to me.

Be Sneaky

That’s right – sneak up on a win! Do a little bidding, then sit out for a bit. Jump back in, jump back out. It confuses people, and you might just sneak up on a win! Give it a try. Be careful that you don’t forget to jump back in, though, it’s happened to me. I get distracted easily and have completely forgotten to check back in on auctions, sometimes. See the tip above – take your bidding seriously for more wins.

DealDash Tips for Big Bargains

dealdash bargains

If you’re wondering how people get such great bargains on DealDash, I am here to give you the answer. By bidding, of course! You can’t get a great bargain if you don’t bid.

Winning on DealDash is easy if you try. Of course, you can’t win every single auction that you enter. Even the most-winning Power Bidder doesn’t win every single auction they enter, especially if they are in an auction with other Power Bidders. If you try to stay away from the Power Bidders, though, you have an excellent chance of getting a great bargain. Read on to learn some tips and tricks to getting bargains on DealDash.

No Power Bidders

As I mentioned above, try to stay away from the Power Bidders. Who are the Power Bidders? They are people who enter an auction and don’t stop bidding until they have won. This might mean using $200 in bids for a $50 item, but the idea is to overbid so no one wants to get into an auction with them – and it works, for the most part.

You can figure out who the power bidders are fairly easily by looking at the “Winner’s Tab” on a regular basis, and seeing who has “won” an auction for over the retail value. Take note of their bidding name, and try to watch out for them in the future.

Bid On Less Popular Items

An excellent way to get a super bargain is to bid on less popular items. Just because an item is less popular doesn’t mean that it’s not a good item! Some less popular items include flashlights and towel sets. Are these bad items? No! Of course not! They are perfectly nice items, just not quite as exciting as iPads, cell phones, and TVs. Just think, though, if you are able to get one of these items for a low price that you were planning on buying anyway then you will have more extra money for other things.

Use Your BidBuddy

The best way to ensure that you are getting the best bargain possible is to use your BidBuddy. DealDash’s BidBuddy is an auto-bidder that is available on every single auction, and it is free for everyone to use.The DealDash BidBuddy has no restrictions, you can put as many or few bids in it that you would like. You can get the best bargain by using the BidBuddy because he will never let you down, even if your internet or electricity goes out!

Bidding Tips for March

DealDash March

Happy March everyone! I hope that you have something fun planned for your first March weekend. If you prefer to stay home and bid, though, I have DealDash tips for you!

Depending on where you are in the USA you might be having a beautiful March weekend, but unfortunately, where I am it’s still below freezing! Since it’s so yucky out I prefer to stay in and play on DealDash, instead. As someone who has seen my fair share of auctions, I have more bidding tips to offer you. Everyone was new once, and I am happy to share my DealDash knowledge with you. Here are some things to keep in mind when you are bidding on DealDash.

Only Bid on Things You Want

When you see “Only bid on things you want.” written out it seems kind of silly, but as someone who has thrown away bids on random items, I know that many people do the same. When you have an extra 50 or 100 bids it’s easy to say “Well, I’ll just put it on this thingamajig.”  Don’t do it! It isn’t a good practice to bid on things just because they are there to bid on. Why not use those bids on something that you really want or need? Save those 50 or 100 bids for the next time you buy a new bid pack, or even just come back the next day and see if DealDash is offering something new that you really like. You could even find things you like now and set an alert.

Setting an Alert is a Smart Move

If you find yourself with some extra bids and there’s nothing that you’re overly excited about up for auction why not search for things that you truly want? If they aren’t currently being offered you can set an alert with the “Alert Me” button. This button is on every product that DealDash has in its catalog, and you can set as many alerts as you would like, there is no limit. Whenever you search for a product on DealDash and discover that there isn’t currently an auction planned for it, be sure to hit the Alert Me button, and you will get an email when the product is scheduled to be up for bid. It’s a great way to never miss an auction that’s important to you.

BIN – the Reason to Only Bid on Things You Want

The main reason that you should only bid on items that you really want is BIN, AKA: Buy It Now. BIN is offered on DealDash auctions as a courtesy to the bidders. If you have been bidding on an auction for something you truly want and you still haven’t won the auction, that’s when you BIN. When you BIN the item for the retail price you will get every single bid that you spent returned to your account when you BIN the item. And that’s why it’s important to bid on things that you really love!
