Tips for Your DealDash Weekend

Ready for some DealDash bidding this weekend? Read on for some tips to keep in mind.

It’s Friday and the weekend is coming up fast. Have you looked ahead on DealDash to see what sorts of auctions are coming up so you can be prepared? It’s always a good idea to be prepared when it comes to DealDash bidding. If you’ve been keeping up with the Tips Blog then you are probably prepared. Stick to Your Budget

This is the beginning of the month, so those of you who have set up a monthly DealDash budget are probably ready to buy some bids. If you haven’t yet set up your monthly DealDash bidding budget, then now is the time. Setting up a monthly bidding budget might seem a little bit silly if you’re a casual bidder, but it just makes good financial sense.

Keep Calm, Keep Bidding

Hopefully, you have a fun time on DealDash and enjoy your time bidding. I know that bidding in an auction can be exciting, but try and keep calm while you’re bidding. If you get too excited then you might make bad decisions that result in you losing more bids than you have to. Keep calm, be smart about your bidding, and you’ll win plenty of auctions.

Try New Things on DealDash

You can bid the same way on DealDash every time. However, a better (and more fun) idea would be to change up your bidding on DealDash. If you normally bid in the morning before work, then try bidding late at night. Try bidding in a different category than you typically bid in. If you normally do single bids, then use the BidBuddy. Remember, variety is the spice of life, and the more things that you try on DealDash, the more fun and excitement you will have.

Don’t Forget to Check on Bid Prices

As you probably know, bid prices fluctuate from day to day. It’s only by a few cents here or there, but if you are buying a larger bid pack it really adds up to a huge difference. By checking in on the bid prices on DealDash every single day, you’ll have a good idea of when you should buy a large bid pack or whether you should wait a few more days.

Sharing Ideas from October 19th’s Blog

October 19th’s blog was all about ideas. Barbara suggested that DealDash would be interested in hearing our ideas from the customer’s perspective. She wrote:

Perhaps DealDash could have a “Best Idea Contest.” We could all have a part in helping to keep this shopping site fun and exciting if we could win free bids for sending in the “best idea of the month.”

Isn’t that an excellent idea? My personal idea for DealDash is that the winner gets to choose the size and color of an item if there are different options that they carry in their inventory. For example, DealDash has some very lovely high-end sheets that come in both King and Queen-sized, and in white, cream, blue, and sage green. Wouldn’t it be nice to bid on just a “sheet set” and get to choose your options afterward?

Getting Free Bids from October 20th’s Blog

October 20th’s blog was about having a good time while you are bidding on DealDash. The top tip of that article was to utilize DealDash’s different ways to get free bids. Bidding on DealDash using free bids is a completely risk-free way to have a good time. Are you an iPhone or Android User?

Downloading the app is quick. If you haven’t gotten it yet you can download it for any Android or Apple iOS device. The app is easy to install and get started right away. What exactly can you do on the DealDash app? The answer is “just about anything you can do on your desktop”. The DealDash app has a clean and easy to use interface that is extremely powerful. You can both browse and bid on the many auctions on the main page. If you’d like to open up individual auction pages, you can do that as well. If you’d like to search for an item, no problem! Place a Bid before $5 from October 10th’s Blog

Maybe you missed Barbara’s article on October 10th, and the top tip from that blog is to be sure that you place at least 1 bid before the auction reaches $5. This is because DealDash has a $5 No Jumper rule which means that only people who have placed a bid before the auction reaches $5 may participate in the auction. Here’s what Barbara said about the topic:

It might be a good idea to place more than one bid in the beginning of each auction just in case it closes early, but you will save bids by waiting until the auction gets down to the last two or three bidders before you place the bulk of your bids into BidBuddy.
