Would You Switch to Amazon's New Fire Phone?

fire phone amazonAmazon just announced their first cellphone product: The Amazon Fire Phone today. Its scheduled released date is July 25th, 2014 but it can be pre-ordered now. The e-commerce giant’s smartphone ranges in price from $199 with an AT&T contract to $649 if you purchase it unlocked- without a plan.
The Amazon Fire Phone is a 32GB smartphone and the only smartphone with what Amazon terms dynamic perspective, Firefly technology and Mayday. Dynamic perspective offers a new way to navigate with tilt, auto-scroll, swivel and peek to navigate menus and access shortcuts with just one hand. Dynamic perspective means when you turn the phone, the phone environment changes and when you’re reading you can move the phone and the page will scroll down.  The maps app lets you move the phone and look around a city.
Plus, it offers an Amazon shipping App where you can see detailed views of clothing, shoes and more on Amazon.com. Firefly technology is the ability to quickly identify printed web contact info such as email addresses and phone numbers, QR codes, bar codes and over 100 million items by pressing a button. So you can take a picture of a book and Amazon will find it for you online. Mayday is free, live, on-device video chat support with an Amazon support expert 24/7, 365. Wow!
Free Amazon Prime Included – for a limited time.

Wow!? I have Prime and I didn’t even realize all of that entertainment was included. So go check it out!
The Camera Looks AMAZING
One reason I love the iPhone is for the pictures I’ve been able to take with it and I haven’t wanted to switch to any other phone, but now this may convince me to change…
The advanced camera system boasts an optical image stabilization system with 13MP, 1080p video and free unlimited photo storage in the cloud.
The Amazon Appstore gives you access to thousands of Android apps. Yes- the Amazon Fire Phone runs on Android.

Powered by Android – this Smartphone will have A 2.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, combined with 2GB of RAM, enables faster app launch times, quicker website load times, and “smoother” multi-tasking.

Tired of your smartphone battery always dying?

Amazon boasts 285 hours of standby time, up to 22 hours of talk time, 65 hours of audio playback and up to 11 hours of video playback. Whoa. Combine that with a juice pack and you may be able to go a week without plugging in that phone.

Work life integrated:

Review docs, presentations, and stay connected to work from wherever you are. Fire OS features a robust Outlook e-mail experience with ActiveSync, calendar, and contacts support. Triage email, view appointments, and more directly from the home screen. Tilt to see meeting details in calendar, or tap to send a quick message to meeting recipients. Not bad!

The Best Deals On DealDash June 10th to 16th

What did you win on DealDash last week? If you are just getting started with penny auctions and haven’t won anything yet, it’s time you get started.  If you are wondering what kind of deals DealDash offers bidders check out the Best Deals on DealDash for June 10th-16th.

June 10th: Do you know how rewarding and exciting photography can be? If you are a budding photography who recently bought or won a Nikon dSLR you may be jealous by this sweet deal on a 50mm prime lens – the Nikon Nikkor 50mm f/1.8G AF-S Lens for Nikon DSLR cameras. A prime lens is the choice of many portrait photographers for the crisp clarity and shallow depth of field giving the background a soft glow. This is the same awesome lens that was won by DealDash bidder Bailey1040 on June 10th for just $0.30 – Seriously, 30 cents!?! for a $200 lens? Yup! Even if Bailey1040 were to be the only bidder placing say 30 bids at $0.15 a bid Bailey1040 would have only spent $4.80 total to win this and we know this winner spent way less in bids.

June 11th: Speaking of Nikon DSLR cameras. Take a look at this beast of a camera. The Nikon D5300 Digital SLR Camera with 18–140mm VR Lens, Black has a buy it now price of $1,050.. and from the description we will see that this camera combines dazzling image quality with all the modern techy bells and whistles. Plus, 24.2 megapixels ad 100-12,800 expandable up to 25,600 ISO for studio nikon deals
quality images.

June 12th: Danny916 will be cool this summer thanks in part to this great deal he got on this brand new AC unit – but it’s not so much the price interests me about this auction, take a look at Danny’s bidding status message:

“Deal dash is an amazing challenge, each bid takes thought, do it, don’t do it, oh h— just do it. DD is large in teaching patience, don’t have any left. Good luck to all of us.” This SPT 12000BTU Portable AC with Heater sells for a buy it now price of $496. Danny916 won it for just $28.33ac
June 13th: On June 13th we see another status message by bidder Tampobn who says before she bids “”Hope that everyone is having a great day…. Please let me time run down and please stop over bidding and stomping, Have my daughters wedding coming up. so looking for gifts for home and yard.” Intimidation? Possibly. She’s stating intent and telling others not to bid against her. Really not something I’d advise to do. She did however win the Nostalgia Retro Series 60-Can Party Cooler Fridge for $18.01:
retro
June 14th: Forful will most likely be baking up more than cookies this summer with her brand new KitchenAid Onyx mixer won for just $13.70 in collective bids and a final, waived end price. Not too shabby considering the KitchenAid has a $450 value!
June 15th: Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet 2 10.1-inch with 64GB Memory, Black Buy it Now price: $700  sold for only $54.01, plus the winner, desdecker didn’t have to pay anything for the end price because DealDaslenovoh slashed the end price this past weekend for Father’s Day! Hope all the dads out there had a chance to check out the auction deals!
June 16th:
bidsfree
Back to intimidating statuses on bidder’s bios: ”

“I check and see how many bids a person has put in. After I look it up . I play fair and nice and back out . Why cant others be as kind??”
Well, the name of the game is DealDash  – you won’t always be able to score a deal if you are always looking for a deal. But this brings us back to our bid on bid packs and stock up point. This $200 bid bid pack was sold for $0.73 on Amazon.
Did you win this past week? If so let us know what you won and what you will do with it!
