This float tube has already been up for auction several times and here’s what’s really amazing about it. So far out of 17 reviews by previous winners, this float tube has received an overall rating of 5.0 out of a possible 5.0. No product can get a higher rating than that.

A brief history of pontoon boats

Pontoon boats have a history that can be traced back to the 11th century BC when the Chinese Zhou Dynasty used pontoons to create bridges for marching soldiers.

It was not until 1952, however, that Ambrose Weeres was credited with the invention of the modern-day pontoon motorboat in the USA, even though he wasn’t the first to fasten logs to a platform. Weeres was a farmer who lived on the Horseshoe Chain of Lakes near Richmond, Minnesota.

Pontoon boats are expected to last from 10 to 20 years if they are new and if the owner takes good care of them. Nonetheless, a lot of other aspects must be taken into consideration, including the brand, material, maintenance and whether it is used in saltwater or freshwater.

Three-tube pontoons are very stable and typically have bigger engines with more horsepower when compared to traditional two-tube pontoons. The additional buoyancy and better weight distribution created by the third tube allows for more people, more entertainment options and better handling at higher speeds. Since the turning radius is not very tight, and the speed of the pontoon is around 30 mph, full speed turns can be made with ease. Pontoon boats are easy to drive and chances of a pontoon boat flipping are not very high.

Have fun shopping for this brand new pontoon boat.

Have Fun Shopping for Discovery Boxes

Have you noticed the Discovery Boxes on DealDash.com? DealDash now auctions off several different kinds of Discovery Boxes. Some of them contain items that are specifically for men, some contain technology items and some of them are filled with other items, containing a clue like “Summer Breeze.”

A light shines out of a box hinting at the mysteries that lie within.
A mystery box is an exciting way to get great products.

We don’t know exactly what’s in each of the Discovery Boxes, but we do know how much they are worth. Many of the Discovery Boxes contain $520 or more in retail value and a “Summer Festival” Discovery Box contains items worth $700 or more in retail value.

Ever since DealDash started putting Discovery Boxes up for auction they have become a fairly popular item and usually get a large number of bidders. Sometimes, however, these boxes do sell at bargain prices. Let’s take a look at some specific examples:

  • June 22, a Discovery Box worth $520 + Retail Value sold for $16.51 and the winner paid a total of $60.31 including the cost of the 219 bids placed.
  • June 22, again a Discovery Box worth $520 + Retail Value sold for $33.49 and the winner paid a total of $47.89 including the cost of the 72 bids placed.
  • June 22, again a Discovery Box worth $520 + Retail Value sold for $42.22 and the winner paid a total of $40.51 including the cost of the 97 bids placed.

As we can see from the real examples above, some DealDash shoppers are getting some pretty amazing deals.

I’m not at all surprised that the “Discovery Boxes” are so popular.

Back in the day when I was growing up we had something called “Grab Bags” that usually sold for 25 or 50 cents and we never knew what was in the bag. However, everyone loved them and we were so excited when we found out what was inside.

Today the term “Grab Bag” is also used for pre-packed back packs that are filled with several survival items in case of a natural disaster. In an emergency a family could just grab the bag and run and that’s why it is often referred to as a “Grab Bag.”

The bottom line

Discovery Box auctions can be a lot of fun and they come up for auction often enough so all DealDash shoppers have plenty of opportunities to become the next winner. Having the opportunity to win “mystery” items also helps to keep shoppers from ever getting bored. This is just another way that DealDash keeps the excitement going.

Happy shopping everyone!

Shopping for Flowers

If we ever shopped for flowers we know how expensive a bouquet can be. However, DealDash.com has come to our rescue once again. We can now shop for digital gift cards to purchase flowers whenever we need them.

These flower gift cards come in various amounts. So far I have seen them in the amounts with a BIN of $10 to $50 and even $100.

A bed of roses is photographed from above.,
Brighten up your home with some fresh flowers!

Now that is something we can all use. We often send family members and friends a bouquet of flowers whenever they are sick to let them know we care and to brighten their day.  We also recognize school children for performing in a musical or dance recitals and high school and college graduations. We will never run out of reasons to send somebody flowers, and having a digital gift card could save us some money. Because these digital gift cards for flowers are a fairly new item we can now shop for on DealDash.com I do not yet know if anyone has received a significant deal on them, but I sure plan to keep my eyes on them.

A brief history of flowers

According to my research, flowers first appeared around 140 million years ago. The Archaefructus was a very small, simple flower that is thought to have grown in or near the water.

The earliest known flower arranging dates back to ancient Egypt, and Egyptians were decorating with flowers as early as 2,500 BCE. A team of biologists shared a depiction of what they believe the first flowering plant looked like: dainty and white with curved petals arranged in three’s.

The tradition of giving flowers carried on to the middle ages, especially among the English and the French. However, the tradition of gifting flowers can be traced back to the Ancient Greeks. They associated flowers with gods and would bring floral offerings to temples. Over time, this tradition extended into giving flowers to pretty women or “earthly goddesses.”

Over time, each and every flower has been given a meaning. For example:

  • The most beautiful and the most popular flower in the world is the classic red rose which represents love. A bouquet of three red roses means “I love you” and a dozen red roses conveys a declaration of love and passion. In Victorian times baby’s breath flowers symbolized “I will love you forever.”
  • Lavender flowers mean long life.
  • Dahlias and sunflowers can give us strength or brighten our day.
  • A black Dahlia symbolizes evil and dishonesty, betrayal, doom and other negative emotions.
  • Chrysanthemums are traditionally viewed as death flowers. The Lily is also the flower most commonly associated with funeral services, as they have come to represent the soul of the deceased returning to a place of peace. Aside from paying tribute to the dead, the act of giving flowers in times of grief can be traced back to thousands of years ago when embalming was not yet done and flowers were used for their fragrance to help counter the odors of decaying bodies.

Here are a few more interesting facts: Several centuries ago in Holland, tulips were more valuable than gold. Also, orchids do not need soil to grow. They get all of their nutrients from the air. One thing I did not know is that broccoli is actually a flower.

Flowers are actually beneficial to humans in many ways. They can greatly improve people’s moods at home or in the office because they give off positive energy that helps people feel secure and relaxed. Flowers also reduce stress-related depression.

Some unexpected uses of flowers include making tea, medicine, food, dyes, crafts, air purifiers, and beauty products. Aside from paying tribute to the dead, the act of giving flowers in times of grief can be traced back to thousands of years ago when embalming was not yet done and flowers were used for their fragrance to help counter the odors of decaying bodies. Chrysanthemums are traditionally viewed as a death flower.

Today there are more than 400,000 types of flowering plants in the world.

Happy shopping everyone and I hope you win the next digital flower card!

Antibacterial Sanitizing Wipes

Do you have enough antibacterial sanitizing wipes on hand?

If not, you have come to the right shopping site because DealDash.com has many more pouches coming up for auction. Each pouch has 48 packs of 80 wipes. This is enough to take care of all of our needs for antibacterial sanitizing wipes and still have enough left over to give to other family members and friends.

A person cleans a door handle using an antibacterial wipe.
Wipes are an easy way to clean all areas of your home.

These handy antibacterial sanitizing wipes (which kill 99.9 percent of germs) can be used at home, the office, on road trips or when camping. If we lose power during a storm they can also come in handy so we can stay clean. We can use them to wipe countertops, chairs, desks tables, door handles and most other surfaces.

These 7 x 4 x 22-inch wipes also have less odor and toxins than some other sanitizing wipes because they are made of 75 percent Ethyl alcohol and moisturizing Aloe Vera. They also have a reseal sticker and lid that can be closed after each use so they stay moist. Some heavily-scented sanitizer wipes can cause people to get headaches from the smell, but these wipes are having a light alcohol scent only. They are methanol-free, too.

The BIN of this auction is $398. It appears, however, that so far all of the previous winners got them for less than that and many winners got incredible deals. Let’s take a look at some of the best deals previous winners already received just today (as of this writing):

  • June 19, this auction sold for 5 cents and the winner paid a total of 41 cents counting the cost of the 2 bids placed.
  • June 19, this auction sold for $2.36 and the winner paid a total of $6.84 counting the cost of the 33 bids placed.
  • June 19, this auction sold for $10.35 and the winner paid a total of $53.23 counting the cost of the 261 bids placed.

The examples I used above include three previous winners all on the same day. Many other shoppers received awesome bargains on other days, too.

Excellent Reviews

After 39 reviews, this auction product has received an overall rating of 4.9 out of a possible 5.0 which is outstanding.

A brief history of sanitary wipes

According to my research, wet wipes were pioneered in 1958 by New Yorker Arthur Julius. However, back then, they were called “moist towelettes” and were not antibacterial. The brand known as “Wet Ones” was discontinued by the manufacturer on Feb. 8, 2019.

Many of today’s antibacterial wipes are safe to be used on our hands and faces, and are even gentle enough to be used on babies.

Usually, disinfectant wipes will be effective until two years after the manufacture date, which is usually on the label. However, if the wipes contain antibacterial, that will bring their shelf life down to about one year. However, disinfectants do not need to indicate an expiration date.
