How to Earn Free Bids!

DealDash.com offers several opportunities to customers to win free bids.  Let’s take a look at some of them!

Time on the clock

This is the most obvious way of earning free bids, but some new twists have been added to our time on the clock that makes it even more rewarding and makes it possible to get our “time as highest bidder” line to move to the end a little faster. Let’s see how it works.

Every time shoppers place a bid in any of the auctions, the green line at the bottom left corner of our computer screen (cell phone or other electronic device) moves to the right. Each bid we place is usually worth  9 seconds. When our green line moves all the way to the right, we earn free bids. How many bids we get and how fast it moves to the end, however, depends on the following:

  1. The Level Number we have been promoted to which largely depends on  how long we have been shopping on DealDash.  Each time our green line gets to the end, we get promoted to the next level up which qualifies us for more bids – the  higher the level, the more bids we earn. As a long-time shopper on DealDash, I’m on Level 92 and when my time line moves all the way to the right I will collect 1,175 free bids that will be added to my account. I think it takes my time line 60 hours to get to the end. However, there are things I can do to shorten the time it takes.
  2. Sometimes DealDash offers a special feature to increase the speed it takes for our bidder bar to fill up. When we see 2X, 3X or 4X at the right end of our time-line, it means each bid we place will move the time-line faster. The 2X is worth 18 seconds per bid placed, 3X is worth 27 seconds per bid and 4X is worth 36 seconds per bid. Therefore, this is an excellent time to shop so we can move our time-line faster.
  3. Sometimes we can also move our time-line faster by meeting the daily challenge. Have you noticed the daily challenge badges? These daily challenge badges usually offer us an opportunity to win extra free bids and sometimes it gives us an opportunity to move our time-line 2 or 3 hours more by meeting the challenge. Therefore, it might really pay to keep our eyes on the daily challenge badges for the day.

Customer Spotlight Challenge

Have you ever participated in the monthly Spotlight Challenge to win 200 free bids?  This might be the easiest way to get free bids, but we must meet three stipulations to participate but they are very easy to do:

  1. We must have purchased one package of bids within the last 7 days. It does not matter if we buy the smallest bid pack or the largest as long as we purchase at least one bid pack.
  2. We must write a good response (answer) to the question of the month. The question will change each month, but they are easy to answer and the response does not have to be very long. For example, the question for May was, “Which company’s values or mission do you really admire and why?” The time to answer this question has expired, but you can catch the one for June. You can find it by scrolling down to the bottom of the Home page. You will find it on the bottom right under the header “Latest Blogs.”
  3. We must submit our response to the question of the month within a specific time-frame. In other words, we must meet the deadline for the month. The deadline for the May question was May 13 to May 19, 2024. We usually get about a week and that’s plenty of time to think of a good answer. Once we write our answer to the question of the month we just email our response to [email protected].

Leaderboard Auctions

As of this writing, DealDash is featuring the Leaderboard Feature. If we bid in the auctions early and stick with it long enough we can earn extra free bids by accumulating the most time on the clock in each auction. We don’t always win when we place the most bids in an auction, but this is one way DealDash provides a reward for the shoppers who place the most bids. Win or lose, we will get some of our bids back. If the auction sells early, we could actually get more bids back than we placed. So this is also a great time to go shopping.
