Bid Smart Shoppers

Are you a bid smart shopper?

Bid smart shoppers on DealDash.com do two things. First, they earn as many free bids as they possibly can. Second, they use their bids wisely.

Free Bids

To consistently win 15 free bids per day, all we have to do is place a minimum of one bid in one auction. The first day we will only get a few bids but next day, and every day after that, we will continue to receive more bids until we reach 15. As long as we place at least one bid every day after that (without missing any days), we will continue to receive 15 free bids per day. If we miss a day, it will start all over again. This is an easy way to get free bids.

Another way we can earn free bids is by submitting photos of ourselves with an auction product we won. If the product is worth more than $200 we can earn 350 free bids. Take clear photos that do not have a distracting background. Send photos by email to:  [email protected]. Remember to include your name, description of the item, Buy it Now price, closing cost and how many bids were used to win the auction.

We also earn free bids every time we place bids in any auction on DealDash. Most of the time, we get 10 seconds on the clock whenever one of our bids comes up. Then a green line on the bottom right of our screen will slowly move to the right. When the green line gets all the way to the right, we collect free bids at the end and move up to the next level. The higher our level, the more bids we receive. I’m at Level 64, so the next time my green line moves all the way to the right, I will receive 860 free bids.

Use Bids Wisely

To get the most out of our free bids, it’s a good idea to place bids during the 2X, 3X or 4X feature. That means we will receive 20 seconds, 30 seconds or 40 seconds on the clock instead of only 10. That will make our green line move faster so we can collect free bids sooner. We should also monitor our bids closely and only place bids when the auction gets down to the last two or three bidders.

Shopping Solution

Whenever you are feeling out-of-sorts, have you ever tried the shopping solution?

If you are stuck in a hospital bed, it does not mean you have to be bored. Instead, you could pass the time by shopping on DealDash.com –all from the comfort of your bed.

Likewise, if you are feeling stressed, it does not mean you have to stay there, either. You could shop away your stress on DealDash.

That’s what I call the “shopping solution.” Shopping on DealDash.com could be therapeutic in more ways than one.

I’ve been shopping on DealDash since Feb. 8, 2012. Over the years, DealDash has made many changes, but it still remains an exciting shopping site — especially since they now have several brand new vehicles up for auction.

Other reasons customers keep coming back to DealDash are:

  • Free shipping and handling and no other hidden charges
  • Superb customer service
  • Variety of quality products
  • No limit on the number of bids we can place in the automated bidder
  • Special auctions with a limit of one-per-customer, making it easier for more customers to win
  • Quick and easy payment system.
  • Daily opportunity for customers to win up to 15 free bids, simply by opening up the site and placing one bid.

The next time you are feeling out-of-sorts, bored or stressed, how about trying the DealDash shopping solution. It is loads of fun!

Earn a Badge

How many badges have you earned on DealDash.com lately?

We all like to set goals, right? Perhaps we could set a goal to win one new badge every week, or all of them by the end of the next year. I earned 13 badges so far, and every time I earn a new badge, it gives me a sense of accomplishment.

Anybody can earn at least four badges because they are so easy to get — New Best Friend for booking two BidBuddies, Story Time for writing something about yourself in your Bidder Bio, Worth a Thousand Words for setting a custom avatar for your profile, and Automation for winning an auction using BidBuddy.

Four more badges that are fairly easy to win are:

  • Me and My Buddies for booking a BidBuddy in 5 different auctions at the same time. We only need to invest 5 bids to earn this badge because we could choose to place only one bid in 5 different auctions.
  • Runner Up for finishing in second place in an auction. I finished second next to the winner so many times that I feel like I set a record. In fact, I would be a very happy camper if DealDash ever rewarded us “runners up” by returning all of our bids free.
  • In It to Win It for placing 100 or more bids in an auction. Anyone could easily save up 100 bids without even purchasing any more Bid Packs. We would simply need to log in and place at least one bid in an auction every day for eight days.
  • On The Go for logging in with the DealDash app on Android or iOS. How difficult could this be? Most people own at least one Android these days.

Perhaps two of the most difficult badges to earn are: The Champion for winning a total of 1,000 auctions and Going the Distance for placing a total of 1,000,000 bids in all auctions on DealDash.

Some badges I might never win, but it could be fun trying.  Which badges do you think you could win?

Responsible Shopping

I recently saw a video discussing the part today’s technology plays in controlling our shopping behaviors. Apparently, a natural chemical in our brains called dopamine makes us feel good, and it also has a lot to do with our struggles to set responsible shopping limits.

Shopping on DealDash.com is a lot of fun, but if we fail to plan ahead, set and follow responsible shopping limits, it could lead to over spending, and that could spoil our fun. DealDash is intended to be fun, while providing us with an easy, new and exciting way to shop. However, it is our responsibility to make sure we set reasonable limits and don’t spend more money than we can afford.

Below are some ideas on how we can do that:

• Decide ahead of time how many bids we can afford to buy for the month. Write it down, stick to it and always make sure you pay all of your other bills first — such as food water and shelter.
• Before bidding, watch and learn the screen names of power bidders and try to avoid bidding in auctions where one or more power bidder already started bidding.
• Only shop for products we really need or want to give to a loved one as a gift.
• Try to bid in auctions we can afford to buy (BIN) if we do not win. Then we will get all of our bids back free to use in another auction.

DealDash is one of the best shopping sites online, and its support staff strives every day to keep customers happy. The rest is up to us. As long as we follow some simple guidelines, we will remain happy customers for a long time to come.
