Anyone can purchase a cheap watch, but if we want to get a high-quality watch at a price we can afford, DealDash is the best place to shop for one. How about shopping for 100 percent top-grain leather brief cases? DealDash auctions one style brief case that has a BIN price of $2,250 but winning shoppers have been receiving fantastic bargain prices. In the last two weeks, five shoppers got this brief case for only $12.81 or less, including the cost of bids used to win the auction.

Another Pebble leather brief case that comes with a cross body strap retails for $1,225. It has two interior compartments and two zip compartments. Because of high demand for this particular brief case, it has been selling for more than the other one, but one shopper recently got it for only $111.80 counting the cost of bids used to win it. That’s still a great bargain.

DealDash has something for more practical shoppers, too.  How about a well-constructed, water-resistant duffel bag that would be perfect to take to the gym? This bag has a BIN price of $120 but two winners got this bag in just the last week for the bargain prices of only $12.06 and $10.81 (counting the cost of bids used).

Bid Pack Strategies

Did you ever have second thoughts about placing bids you already have in an attempt to get more bids out of an auction that you may or may not win? Using the BIN option for bid pack auctions does not make much sense when we can simply purchase more bids on sale for less money.

I used to think that it only made sense to bid on small bid pack auctions that might be easier to win. However, I have learned that sometimes the big bid pack auctions are even easier to win than the small ones, but why?  Perhaps other customers are of the same mindset and believe the big bid pack auctions are more difficult to win so fewer players decide to bid on them. But let’s take a look at the facts based on what I saw yesterday when I looked at the “Winner’s List.”

  • A 175 bid pack auction ended for 2 cents;
  • A 200 bid pack auction ended for 11 cents;
  • A 650 bid pack auction ended for 5 cents; and
  • A 900 bid pack auction ended for only 15 cents.

So what does this mean? It means that if we consistently place only 15 bids on every large bid pack auction, eventually we could win one.

In just one 24-hour period, several bid pack auctions, both small and large, sold for an amazingly low price. Who would have ever guessed that a 900 bid pack auction could end for as little as 15 cents? Not me, but it happens every once in a while. These winning streaks appear to come and go, and all we have to do is be there at the right time.

State Bid Packs

Have you noticed the new state bid packs on DealDash.com?

We do not have to reside in the featured state to qualify to bid on a special state bid pack. However, each customer is allowed to win only one of each bid pack auction. I like that limit because then more customers have an opportunity to win.

I also like the featured state bid packs because each one provides interesting information about the state that I might not know. I enjoy reading and learning about the states because it takes shopping on DealDash above and beyond the usual experience. Whenever a shopping site does that, it enhances the overall shopping experience.

Let’s take a look at some of the featured state bid packs so far:

  • Colorado: Featured bid packs for Colorado include 300 bids, 1,869 bids and 2,776 bids. One interesting fact DealDash listed about this state is that Colorado Springs has more sunny days than any other place in the country.
