Watch for Trends

If you want to win good deals while shopping on DealDash.com I have a suggestion: watch for trends. Now what do I mean by that?

When you open the DealDash home page, go to the Winners List. Look at the featured winners who won the best deals in the last 24 hours.  Often times you will see a trend of the products that are consistently closing at extra good bargain prices.

For example, I just checked and these are the trends I found for the last 24 hours:

  • iPhone cases with Buy It Now price of $49 sold six times for less than 50 cents.
  • Bottles of women’s and men’s perfumes (BIN $230) sold six times for less than $1 and four times for less than $2.
  • Rings (BIN range from $160 to $180) sold four times for less than $1 and five times for less than $2

The auctions that close early changes from day-to-day, so it’s important to continue to check back and look for trends to see what items are selling at the best bargain prices. If you were shopping for any of the above items today, you most likely got a steal-of-a-deal!

Five DealDash Resolutions You Should Make in 2019

I’ve been DealDashing for years now and there’s one thing that really helps me re-set myself as a successful auction winner and that is taking a look at how and why I bid and making a few New Years resolutions to get more wins. Here are my top five resolutions for 2019.

  1. Re-evaluate What You Bid on

I used to bid on anything and everything. Not only does it take up time, but it takes up bids. Taking a look at the things I really want to win and bidding on those items helps me to focus on the things I want most. If I really want to win an item, I will commit to the win more than if it is an item I know I’ll exchange to bids.

  1. Try New Strategies

Are you a bidder who bids early right from the start of an auction or one who hangs back a bit until starting your bidding? Do you wait until there are just a handful of bidders before deciding to give it a go? Whatever your typical method of bidding, try something new in 2019! As an early bidder, I tried different ways of bidding, which I will admit was a bit foreign for me, but it ultimately opened    me up to new wins! Give it a try!

  1. Bid Different Days and Times of Day

If you’re a creature of habit with your strategies, you likely bid he same days of the week and times of day. This means you’re also bidding against bidders who   do the same so you’re likely to be bidding against the same bidders. My rule of     thumb is this: if I’m bidding when I’m free to bid (nights, weekends) when I have time off, it’s likely others are doing the same. Try bidding during the day, early morning or late evening for a change of pace.

  1. Go for a Big-Ticket Item

Nothing ventured, nothing gained is my policy on big ticket items on DealDash. Take a chance on a painting, electronics or even a brand new car! If you don’t take a chance, you will never know!

  1. Read and Watch

If you’ve never checked out the Tips & Tricks or Blog sections on DealDash, you’re truly missing out on some helpful tips and ways to win. Whether you need a refresher on how DealDash works or just need to familiarize yourself with bidders and their habits, there are many tools on DealDash that will help you get a leg up on winning.

Do what works for you in the new year and consider making some DealDash resolutions! Here’s hoping your 2019 is filled with some great wins on DealDash!

What Can We Do With 100 Bids?

What can we do with 100 bids when shopping on DealDash.com? We could probably do a lot more than we might think with that many bids?

Here is what we could do with 100 bids:

  • Place one bid each in 100 auctions
  • Place two bids each in 50 auctions
  • Place three bids each in 33 auctions
  • Place five bids each in 20 auctions
  • Place 10 bids each in 10 auctions
  • Place 25 bids each in four auctions
  • Place 50 bids each in two auctions
  • Place all 100 bids in one auction.

DealDash customers win auctions every day using only one or two bids. In just the last 24 hours here are just some of the auctions shoppers won using only one or two bids:

  • Women’s lambskin moto jacket (Buy It Now price $3,400) sold for only 9 cents, and the winner used 2 bids for a total estimated investment of 44 cents
  • Perfume (BIN $230) sold for only 2 cents, and the winner used 1 bid for a total estimated investment of 21 cents
  • Ring, size 6 (BIN $175), sold for 1 cent, and the winner used 1 bid for a total investment of 21 cents
  • King duvet (BIN $180) cover sold for 3 cents, and the winner used 1 bid for a total investment of 21 cents
  • Stainless steel saucepan with lid (BIN $650) sold for 39 cents, and the winner used 3 bids for a total investment of 79 cents.

If we placed one bid in 100 auctions or two bids in 50 auctions, we might have won some of the above awesome auction products. After all, becoming a winning shopper often depends on simply being in the right auction at the right time.
