There are lots of reasons to love DealDash. Here are just a few to remind you how great DealDash really is.

DealDash is the longest running pay-to-bid site around, and many people profess their affection for DealDash on the Facebook page as well as on SiteJabber. DealDash is easy to love. Most people who regularly read this blog know about features like BidBuddy and Buy It Now (BIN). Here are some other really good reasons to keep coming back again and again.

Awesome Reviews on SiteJabber

I mentioned SiteJabber above, and if you’re not familiar with it, SiteJabber is an independent website that accepts reviews for other websites such as DealDash. You can go to SiteJabber and search for any website and see the independent reviews that people have left for them. DealDash has a total of 3,883 reviews on SiteJabber, and a score of 4 out of 5 stars. An overwhelming 2,809 are actually 5-star reviews, and 448 of them are 4-star reviews. The 1 and 2-star reviews added together are barely even 400.

As a smart consumer, it’s important to read reviews of businesses and form your own thoughts and opinions about the company. I urge you to go check out DealDash on SiteJabber because you can get a very good picture of how things are run. I especially like how DealDash customer service responds to the bad reviews, it shows that they really care what the customers think.

Huge Product Selection

DealDash has a really great variety and array of products. It seems like a lot of other bidding sites only have electronics, or only have gift cards. There are so many different categories and different items within each category. I love how the selection changes often as well. Personally, I am a huge fan of the fact that they have a lot of jewelry on there now. There are also a good amount of decorative things on there now as well. I am an art lover, and I need more decorations for my house. It’s awesome to be able to find such good things on DealDash.

24/7, Baby!

Finally, another reason to fall in love with DealDash a little more is the fact that they are a 24/7 operation. Many of the other bidding sites have set times and hours and days. Not DealDash. They are there for you no matter what your schedule. That’s a huge perk for people who work odd hours.

If you’re like most DealDash winners, somewhere along the line you’ve experienced that awesome quick win for just a few bids and a few pennies for a final price. The first time I ever bid on DealDash, I won a $10 gift card for just three cents and one bid! It was amazing, not to mention exhilarating. Bidders need to understand that these types of wins do occur every day on DealDash but they are more attributed to luck than anything else. If you want to keep winning, you will need to educate yourself on strategy and patience.

Setting Goals, Setting Limits

Determine which auctions you really want to win. Whether your wish list item is big or small, patience will play a key role in your success. You will certainly need to implore more patience for a big-ticket item as the auctions usually last much longer than smaller ones. And get ready to set limits, too. Know your bottom line and how many bids you’re willing to spend on each item. Then do your homework.

Now, don’t get me wrong – you have to be an adult to have a DealDash account. However, just because your kids or grandkids can’t bid doesn’t mean that they can’t help you find cool things to bid on. There is a whole category on DealDash that is called “Hobbies, Toys, Outdoors, and Games” – which are all things that kids love! They also might enjoy looking in the “Computers and Electronics” category as well. No matter what your kids enjoy doing, they will be able to find something on DealDash that they will love.

Be Sure That You Use Bookmarking and Alerts

Have you used the search function on DealDash? If you see something that you like that isn’t currently up for bid, then you can set an alert for the item. Simply click the button that says “Alert me” and DealDash will send you an email when DealDash has scheduled an auction for this item. DealDash will alert you when the auction is starting within a couple of days, and then again when the auction is starting within a couple of hours.

Bookmarking is a handy feature to use if you see something that DealDash has already scheduled to be up for auction. When you look ahead to future auctions that have already been scheduled, you will see a little outline of a star in the upper right corner. If you want to bookmark this auction, then click the star. It will turn yellow, and the auction will be moved to your home screen on the main auction page.

When you use both of these features, bookmarking and alerts, then you can be sure that you never miss an auction that you are really excited about winning! When it comes to thinking about fun, winning things that you truly love definitely tops that list!

It’s very important when you have fun on DealDash that you pay attention to what you’re doing and stay within whatever budget that you’ve set for yourself. Sometimes you can lose track of things in the heat of the moment, so here are some ideas to keep you on track and within budget.

Set Your Budget, Set Your BidBuddy

If you know exactly how many bids that you want to spend on a particular auction, then there’s really no need to stick around. That’s what the BidBuddy is for! The BidBuddy is there to bid for you and do exactly as you want him to do. For instance, if it’s a “Free Auction Weekend,’ then you know that it’s safe to bid it up to exactly the retail price so you can BIN (Buy It Now) if you don’t win. So, personally, I would just put in enough bids to reach the BIN price, and then walk away. Because for me, if I stay and watch the auction action, occasionally I get too involved and end up adding more and more and more bids to the BidBuddy! So now, I put in the bids to reach the BIN, and walk away. It works for me.

Keep an Eye on Your Bids While Bidding

If setting the BidBuddy and walking away isn’t really your style or preference, then, by all means, stay and watch! Or even just place single click bids, with DealDash it’s all up to you! However, when you’re bidding, be sure that you keep a very close watch on your bids. Your bids are very easy to watch and keep track of, they are located at the top right of your screen. When you’re placing single bids it’s extremely important to watch your bids. When you use the BidBuddy it’s a lot easier to keep track of them.

Buy Your Bids When They are Cheap!

Saving money is important, and most people like to stick to a budget for the month. So if your budget for bids is $50, great, save it until the bids are .12-.14. If you are ready to buy bids and the price is .17,18,19, then wait! The price of bids fluctuate from day to day, so save your $50 and wait!
