Ergonimic Curved Pillows

Have you ever had an ergonomic pillow? If not, now is a great time to shop for one on DealDash.com. We can shop for one at a time or we could shop for 4 of the most awesome ergonomic pillows in one auction. The two ergonomic pillow auctions available are:

  • One-pillow auction with a BIN of $415. On February 6, 2024, this ergonomic pillow auction sold at $1.88 and the winner paid a total of $9.68 including the cost of the 39 bids placed.
  • Four-pillow auction with a BIN of $1,760. On February 10, 2024, these ergonomic pillows sold at $17.54 and the winner paid a total of $30.74 including the cost of the 66 bids placed.

Based on the 520 customer reviews these ergonomic pillows received an overall rating of 4.81 out of a possible 5.0 and that says a lot about the high-quality of these pillows.

According to the auction description, the “Ergonomic Curved Pillow has been designed to adapt to the variety of sleeping postures you adopt during your sleep cycle. Its curved design and memory foam filling offers the ideal density, comfortably cradling your head.”These pillows also provides proper head, neck and spinal alignment.

The dimensions of these ergonomic pillows are: 23.62 by 13,38 by 3.84.2.17  inches and each pillow weighs one pound.

A brief history of pillows

According to my research, it is believed the first pillow originated in ancient Mesopotamia (today’s Iraq) around 7,000 B.C., making the pillow about 9,000 years old (not counting ancient civilizations we may not know about). Ancient Egyptians invented the first pillows and later, the Greeks and Romans used cloth stuffed with reeds and soft materials, which was the predecessor of today’s pillows.

Before pillows, people in the stone age actually used stones for pillows, and later people used straw, hay and grass to prop their heads up. It wasn’t until the late 1800s (when textiles became mass produced) that pillows became everyday household items.

The reason we often put several pillows on our beds is to enhance our comfort and address specific needs. As we age, many people sleep with multiple pillows to support various body parts, in addition to our head, such as our neck and legs. I always sleep with a pillow between my knees to promote better alignment and reduce pressure points. Ever since I’ve done that I no longer get lower back aches, but I don’t know it would work for everyone.

The bottom line

Sleeping with a high-quality pillow can make a significant difference to getting a better night’s sleep. Therefore, it might be a good idea for us to shop for some ergonomic pillows to see if we can wake up more rested with no kinks in our neck.

Low Cost Auctions!

To save money many people in today’s poor economy are looking for deals.

That’s probably why you are shopping on DealDash.com and you have come to the right place.

Thousands of DealDash shoppers win fantastic bargain prices here on a regular basis. I should know because I’m one of them.

One feature DealDash customers love most is the BIN option. That means if we do not win the product we are shopping for, we have the opportunity to buy it and get all of our bids back free to use in another auction. However, some high-value auction products may be out of the price range to use the BIN option for customers on a budget. Therefore, I decided to focus on some of the most affordable items with a BIN of less than $100.

Quality 6-Piece Queen Sheet Set

This queen-size 6-piece bed sheet set consists of one flat sheet, one fitted sheet, and 4 pillowcases.

The complete set has a BIN of $100. So far, after receiving 2,106 reviews by previous customers this sheet set received an overall rating of 4.85 out of a possible 5.0. This high rating speaks volumes for how well-made and soft these double-brushed microfiber sheets are. They also have deep pockets, which everybody loves. For people with allergies and/or sensitive skin, these microfiber sheets are hypoallergenic and antimicrobial, too.

Perhaps the best thing of all is that these sheets are fairly easy to win for a bargain price and a low number of bids. Some of the best deals previous customers won so far were:

Feb. 13, this sheet set sold at 22 cents and the winner paid a total of $1.51 including the cost of the 7 bids used to win them;

Feb. 11, this sheet set sold at 80 cents and the winner paid a total of $5.60 including the cost of the 26 bids placed; and

Feb. 10, this sheet set sold at 97 cents and the winner paid a total of $4.97 including the 20 bids placed.

For more detailed information, see the auction listing.

Noise Isolating Earphones

These noise isolating earphones come with an anti-tangle cord and, according to the auction description, they are “compatible with any device featuring a 3.5mm auxillary input such as tablets, mp3 players, laptops, some smartphones and more.”

Therefore, this auction item will get a lot of use and it has a low-BIN of only $70 so if we do not win it, we can BIN it. Who does not need a good set of earphones in today’s world?

Another great feature is that the “super soft earbuds come in two extra sizes for ultimate fit.” This is so important because all human ears are not made the same size and I often had a difficult time finding a set of earphones with the right size of earbuds to fit my ears. They often fell out, which was very irritating.

These earphones  have a speaker size of 10mm, a frequency range of 10-25,000Hz, sensitivity of 106 +/- 3dB (at 1 Khz, 0.5Vrms) and an impedance of 16 O hm. The cable length is 125cm.

Several previous winners said in their review that they like the pink color.

The Bottom Line

Not many auctions sell for less than $100 but if we look for them, we can still find some low-cost auction products.

The Varying No Jumper Limit Explained

Have you noticed that every once in a  while DealDash.com features a Varying No New Bidders Limit.

Do you know how it works? Most of the time DealDash has a standard $5 No New Bidders Limit. That means any shopper who has not already placed a bid in the auction before it reaches $5 that player would not be allowed to participate in the auction period. When DealDash features a Varying No New Bidders Limit, they will place different amounts on the No New Bidder Limit. Each auction will be assigned a new amount from as low as 50 cents to as high as the standard $5. Some auctions could be $1 or $1.50 or $2  or $2.50 and some will remain at the standard $5 No New Bidder Limit.

The greatest advantage to shopping during the Varying No New Bidders Limit is that it eliminates a lot of the competition and gives us a greater opportunity to win an auction for less money.

A woman looks thoughtfully off into the distance.
Put a bit of thought into your bidding strategy so that you get great results!

When DealDash features the Varrying No New Bidders Limit it’s important to find out which auctions are designated to reach the No New Bidders Limit for the lowest amount of money. If we do not get our first bid placed soon enough, we will find ourselves locked out. So we need to know how to find these auctions early before it’s too late. That is the question: “How do we do that?”

A winning strategy

When DealDash features the Varying No New Bidders Limit it’s important to find out which auctions are designated to reach the No New Bidders Limit for the lowest amount of money. If we do not get our first bid placed early enough, we will find ourselves locked out. So we need to know how to find these auctions as quickly as possible before it’s too late. That is the question: “How do we do that?”

Go to the home page and at the upper left near the header click on  “Browse Categories.” A list of auction categories will pop up. The first category is Bid Packs. If I click on Bid Packs I can quickly find which ones are designated to lock out all new bidders for the least amount of money. I learned it’s a good idea to place bids on several different auctions that are designated to lock all new bidders out early. Later on we might want to delete our bids in some of the auctions if we see some power bidders show up in some of the same ones.

By using this feature recently, I chose to participate in the Bid Packs category and I won two Bid Packs at bargain prices.

The bottom line

If we learn the best winning strategy to take advantage of special features like the Varying No New Bidders Limit, we will  have a very happy and successful shopping experience.

Shopping for the Newest Member of the Family

Will you soon have a baby? Do you know a family member or friend due to have one or already  had a baby?  If so, DealDash.com could be the best place to shop.

We can easily and quickly find baby items going up for auction by simply going to the search bar on the top right side of the  homepage. Recently, I have seen some really nice items for babies going up for auction.

Jungle Baby Play Mat

Play mats are a must-have for all new parents, and DealDash shoppers have an opportunity to win a fantastic bargain.

On Jan. 22, the Jungle Baby Play Mat (with a BIN of $235) sold at $5.60 and the winner paid a total of only $5.80 including the cost of the 15 bids used.  Based on 76 customer reviews, this play mat received an overall rating of 4.91 out of a possible 5.0 and that’s exceptionally good.

This Jungle Baby Play mat features a “super-soft polyester-filled circular 33-inch mat” with a mobile arch. It also comes with 4 detachable plush toys: a giraffe, monkey, duck and elephant.

One thing that makes a baby play mat such an essential item to have is that it can easily be folded up and carried anywhere that it might be needed when visiting other family members or friends. Most babies can be entertained for hours on a play mat with their new toy animals while parents can enjoy watching them develop their fine motor skills.

Lamb and friends play mat

Another great baby  play mat (with a BIN of $285) highlights the theme of a famous lamb and friends.

Based on whopping 93 customer reviews, this play mat received an overall rating of 4.9 out of a possible 5.0.  Some of the best deals mothers, grandmothers and great grandmothers won so far are:

This soft polyester-filled play mat is rectangular and measures 13-inches wide by 17-inches in length by 22-inches in height. It has a removable mobile arch with 4 detachable plush toys: a fox, a lamb, a star and a flower. It also features a soft-sided pillow and 4 Velcro side panels for easy pick up and storage.

This Lamb and Friends Play Mat would make an excellent baby shower gift for any new mother. DealDash has many other items up for auction that would make perfect baby gifts as well, so we should keep checking all new auction items that may be exactly what we need.
