Expecting a baby can be a little scary. DealDash can give you some tips on shopping for the new baby.

Having your first baby can be especially scary, though the subsequent babies can be a little frightening as well! Having everything prepared and ready to go for the baby can help ease the stress and worry a little bit. DealDash can’t come to the delivery room with you, but can certainly help you get the baby supplies ready. Read on for some shopping tips.

The Baby Needs a Crib

Co-sleeping is very popular in some areas of the world, but doctors in America usually advise against it. I personally co-slept with one out of my three children, it was the only way that I could get any sleep! Even though I co-slept with her, I still had a crib left over from my first, and she took her naps in the crib. I would advise every parent to have a crib available even if you are planning on co-sleeping. DealDash often has cribs available for auction.

If you don’t want (or have space for) a full crib you can always use a Pack N’ Play or portable play yard as an impromptu crib. These are also extremely handy to have when you travel with the baby. All three of my babies spent time sleeping in a Pack N’ Play at some point or another. They are fairly inexpensive and I would suggest getting one. The Baby Needs a Car Seat and Stroller

Many hospitals won’t let you take your baby out of the hospital without a car seat. For the first 6 months or so most babies ride around in a “baby bucket” type car seat that snaps into a base in the car and can also snap into certain strollers. The baby bucket is extremely useful and makes life a lot easier. It’s much faster to snap the bucket in and out rather than removing the baby. The combination of the baby bucket and the stroller that it snaps into is called a “travel system,” and DealDash often has them available for auction.

Once you have gotten your little bundle of joy home you’ll want to keep them under your watchful eye. Hopefully you’ll have an easy baby who will sleep by themselves and take lots of naps.
