DealDash Tips: Bargain Kitchen

screenshot-22

If there’s something that every home has – it’s a kitchen. Here are some DealDash Tips to have a bargain kitchen.

No matter if your kitchen is old and rustic, quaint and homey, or sleek and modern, we all need kitchen supplies. We need cooking implements, we need small and large appliances, we need cutlery, and it would be nice to have a little personality to go along with it. Sadly, unique kitchen items with personality usually tend to be rather expensive. This is where DealDash can help. DealDash has cute, new, and unique items for the kitchen that you can win in their auctions.

Choosing to participate in a DealDash  auction for kitchen items is actually a very smart move – kitchen items such as pots, pans, and cutlery are things that people usually tend to replace every few years, so it’s kind of a no-brainer to bid on them on DealDash. As some of you might know, DealDash offers a special feature called BIN (Buy It Now), so that if you don’t happen to win the auction that you are participating in, you can pay the regular retail price, receive free shipping, and get all of your bids back as well. Not only that, but you get to keep all of the “clock time” that you received for being the highest bidder during the auction. Now that’s smart!

Other than bidding on the kitchen items on DealDash to save some money in your kitchen, here are some other handy tips from DealDash for a bargain kitchen:

  • Stop buying paper towels – Get a 10 pack (or more) of hand towels or tea towels and use them in place of paper towels. It will save you money as well as saving the environment.
  • Only buy fruit and veggies that are in season.
  • Jump aboard the mason jar craze! Use mason jars for everything from canning extra garden produce to storing dinner leftovers.
  • Buy meat in bulk packs, separate into meal sized portions, and freeze.

I hope that you found this DealDash Tips article on a bargain kitchen to be helpful. DealDash has just about anything that you could ever need for the kitchen (or anywhere else in the house. Visit DealDash today. Just click this link here. good luck and happy bidding everyone!

DealDash Tips: Bidder Research

screenshot-21

If you’re not doing your research on the other bidders, you’re cheating yourself out of auction wins…

You love DealDash, I love DealDash, everyone loves DealDash! DealDash has been around since 2009, and has picked up so many registered users, there is always plenty of competition on the site. More competition means it’s more difficult to win auctions at a low price. Luckily, the more that you learn about the bidders on DealDash the more likely you are to win.

Whether you are just starting out on DealDash or if you are a seasoned bidder that’s been with DealDash since the beginning, it pays to know your competition. Who is your competition? Everyone! There are so many different types, ages, and personalities of bidders on DealDash, that you really need to be taking notes. Yes, seriously. You may choose to take notes on an Excel spreadsheet, a word document, emails to yourself, or even a plain old pen and paper. How you save your DealDash bidder research notes is up to you, but I personally prefer an Excel spreadsheet.

If you are going to start taking notes on different bidders using an Excel spreadsheet, I would start as soon as possible, and spend as much time doing your research as you can. The more bidders that you can add to your spreadsheet the better off you will be, and the more auctions that you will win.

There are a few things that you should take note of when doing research on DealDash bidders. You should make a note of bidder names, what sorts of auctions that they bid on, if they drop out of auctions early or stay late and over-bid, and if they are a polite bidder or a stomper. Once you have all of this information, then you can come into auctions more informed, and therefore more likely to be successful.

Once you start doing research on DealDash bidders you can categorize your bidders however you like. Some possible ways you might like to categorize your bidders are:

  • Over-bidders
  • Drop outs
  • Alphabetically (for easy look-up)
  • Or you might like to organize the bidders by their favorite categories, such as “gift cards” or “tools”

I hope that you have found this DealDash Tips article about doing research on bidders helpful. If you commit some time to doing bidder research, you will reap the rewards in the form of more auction wins. Visit DealDash now to check out the auctions. Good luck and happy bidding everyone!

DealDash Tips for Stocking Stuffers

screenshot-19

Christmas is rapidly approaching, and DealDash Tips would like to help you find the perfect stocking stuffers for your family.

Finding the perfect stocking stuffers for your family can be tricky. DealDash is here to help. I personally love to have a stocking, and to fill other’s stockings. You might be surprised to hear that in some families the stockings are just for decoration! My husband was quite surprised when I told him that he was responsible for filling my stocking – he didn’t realize that they were for anything but decoration. I was shocked, and made sure that his stocking has been filled with great things ever since.

“What are some great things to fill a stocking with?” you might ask. It all depends on age, of course, let me break it down for you.

Babies:

Babies don’t need anything, really, but I think that it would be very nice to put at least a few things in their stocking so they have something to do while everyone else is opening their stockings. If your baby is old enough to be able to sit, they are probably able to have some of the commercially prepared baby snacks such as yogurt drops, veggie drops, or the Mum-Mum rice husk snacks. Those will keep them busy while the older kids are doing their stockings. If you would like to add a little something extra into the baby’s stocking, how about one of those adorable tiny blankets with the stuffed animal head? DealDash has those, and they tend to go for very reasonable final auction fees.

Little kids:

Little kids are definitely the most fun to shop for to fill their stockings. Coloring books, crayons, small puzzles, candy, and small Lego sets are good for both genders. For little girls I would also include perhaps a Barbie doll, small stuffed animal, and maybe some fun character-branded lip balm. For little boys I would definitely include some Hot Wheels cars, and maybe some small dinosaur, train, or robot figures.

Big kids/Teens:

Big kids and teens aren’t quite as fun as little kids to shop for, but there are still lots of nice items that you can include in their stockings. For both genders I would include shampoo/conditioner, razors, perfume/cologne, candy, and maybe an iTunes, Amazon, or Barnes & Noble gift card. Make up and nail polish is usually a hit with bigger girls and teens, and for the boys I would suggest maybe a Swiss Army-style knife, or maybe a watch.

Adults:

There’s not a whole lot of difference between what you would put in an adult’s stocking and a teen’s stocking, but I would add perhaps some higher valued items such as earrings, a necklace, or other jewelry for a woman, and maybe a nice wallet or tie for a man.

I hope that you have found this stocking stuffer suggestions article helpful. Most of the items that I mentioned above, from toys and ties to gift cards and jewelry can be found up for auction at DealDash. Check DealDash for the best stocking stuffers. Visit DealDash today. When Can I WIN on DealDash?

screenshot-16A very popular question that DealDash hears is “What is the best time of day to bid on the auctions?” Let’s try to figure it out together.

When do you usually bid on DealDash? A few years ago, when I first started bidding regularly on DealDash I was bidding at the worst possible times! In my opinion, the worst possible times to bid on DealDash are in the evening after dinner, and in the later evening before bed. These times might work for you, and there’s no harm in giving them a try.

Being on the East Coast, I have always felt that we are at a bit of a disadvantage due to the time difference. That just means that us East-Coasters just have to be a little trickier than our West Coast counterparts. No matter what timezone you live in, there will always be lots of competition, DealDash is a very popular shopping entertainment website.

Now that I have told you the worst times to bid, let me tell you what I have found to be the best time…I have always had excellent luck in the morning, around 5-8 AM EST or so. I think that the reason that I have such good luck than is because most people on the East Coast are getting ready for work, or getting their kids ready for school, or still sleeping if they don’t have to do those things. At 5-8 AM EST I wager that most of the West Coast people are still sleeping.

You might think that super late at night, such as 12-3AM EST might be a good time to bid, but I have never had the best luck at those times. However, DealDash customers are savvy enough to change-up their bidding styles and times fairly often, so it’s smart to check the “Winners” tab on DealDash to see if the auctions seem to be going for lower or higher prices and bid accordingly.

Learning new things can only help you, and I hope that you have found this DealDash Tips article helpful. If any of you readers have other DealDash questions, please write a comment down below. Go ahead and go check out DealDash now, and see if now is a good time to bid. Good luck and happy bidding everyone!
