Like Winning? Then You’ll Love DealDash!

DealDash

If you’re the kind of person who “never wins anything”, then you should give DealDash a try. It’s easy to win when you’re a newbie!

Being a newbie on DealDash is a fun and exciting experience. Luckily, DealDash has a lot of features that makes it easier for newbies to get into the swing of things and win auctions even if they aren’t quite sure what they are doing. If you’re the kind of person who feels like they are not “lucky” or “not a winner” then you should still try DealDash anyway. After all, they do offer a money back guarantee! Read on for more information.

There is a Great DealDash Tutorial

Back when I started on DealDash there was no tutorial. There were “House Rules” and “How it Works”, but now there is something WAY better! There is an amazing interactive tutorial that you can use to learn how to participate on DealDash. Just navigate to the bottom of the DealDash home screen and you will see the “Help” section. You will find the tutorial in the help section. It’s fun to do, and you will receive 10 free bids for your participation.

You Won’t Be Thrown to the Wolves

When you’re a newbie on DealDash there are lots of things to help you get started. For starters, newbies who haven’t won any auctions (or have only won 1 or 2) have more auctions available to them than more seasoned bidders. They have all of the regular auctions, but there are also extra auctions for small items such as $10 gift cards and small bid packs that only other newbies can see. This makes it fairer so the newbies have a chance to get a few wins while they are still learning.

If You Don’t Win…

As a newbie, an important thing to remember is that if you “accidentally” bid too many times and you still aren’t going to win, you can BIN. BIN means Buy It Now. When you do a Buy It Now it means that you buy the item for the retail price. You will get ALL of the bids back that you placed, as well as getting free shipping. BINning items are a great way to not bust your bidding budget.

DealDash Loves to Have Promotions

DealDash

Have you ever seen a store have as many promotions as DealDash? I think not! Here are some of the great promotions that DealDash runs.

Do you have a favorite DealDash promotion? There are so many different ones, and they are all designed to save you money, give you a good time on the site, and help you win more auctions. Why would DealDash want to do all of those things for you, the customer? Because DealDash loves their customers! If DealDash had no bidders then they would go out of business! So it’s important to DealDash that you are a happy bidder. Read on for more information about DealDash promotions.

TATHB Multipliers Promo

Everyone accrues “clock time” when they are the highest bidder in a DealDash auction. However, it can take many, many auctions before your Time As The Highest Bidder (TATHB) meter has been filled up. A great promotion that DealDash often offers is TATHB multipliers.

Do you know how the TATHB Multiplier works? It’s easy, you don’t have to do anything other than bid as you normally would. As you’re bidding, DealDash will give you two, three, or even four times as much time on your time clock meter! This is why you might see people bidding way too much on an auction because they plan on doing a Buy It Now (BIN) on it, they will get their bids back, and get to keep all of that extra time that they received with the TATHB multiplier.

$3 No Jumper Promo

Normally DealDash has a $5 No Jumper limit. This means that you need to place at least 1 bid before the auction price reaches $5. When DealDash runs it’s $3 No Jumper promotion, it’s the same idea, except that the auction will close to new bidders at $3 instead of $5. There will be fewer people in these auctions because they have to get their bids in early, and there are many less chances to bid at the $3 limit than the $5 limit.

50, 75, 100 Auctions Start at Once Promo

The 50, 75, 100 auctions start at once promotion is my favorite promotion! This promotion is rather rare, and typically is held on a holiday weekend – but not always! During this specific time, 50, 75 or more auctions will begin at the same time, so there are so many chances to win a great item for a lower price. You never know when these promotions are going to be, so you need to be sure that you stop by DealDash every day just to check in. If there is going to be a “50, 75 or more auctions” promotion that day, then it will say so right on the main home screen where it lists the bid prices for the day.

Tips to Rule the DealDash Auctions

DealDash

Are you ruling the auctions on DealDash? If you’re not, then read on for some tips for improvement, from DealDash.

When you think about your time spent on DealDash, are you more likely to think “Yeah, I rule!!” or “Ehhh…I could do better?” If it’s the former, great! If it’s the latter, then you are going to need to work on having a more positive attitude and pay attention to these auction-ruling tips, from DealDash.

Get Your Bids on Sale, Always

I know, I know, DealDash bids are almost always on sale, right? However, there are some days when bids cost .18 each, and there are other days when bids cost .13. If you buy your bids on sale you’re going to have a lot more spending power than someone who didn’t buy their bids at a good price.

Conserve Your Bids – Buy It Now

Buying It Now (BIN) is a great way to conserve your bids. How does BIN work? It’s simple! After you have attempted to win an auction, and you’ve spent as much money on bids as it would be to just buy the item, then it’s time to do a BIN. Doing a BIN just means that you buy the item that you were bidding on for the retail price that’s listed on the auction, and DealDash will give you back all of the bids that you spent on that particular auction. They will also provide you with free shipping on the item in question, as well.

Don’t Stomp, Another Bid-Saving Strategy

Are you familiar with the term “stomping”? When you stomp someone’s bid in a DealDash auction, it means that you bid immediately after someone else. This isn’t very polite, because everyone earns time on the time clock towards free bids for every second that the are the highest bidder in an auction. So when you bid immediately after someone you are cheating them out of their time on the DealDash clock. This isn’t illegal or against the House Rules on DealDash, it just isn’t very kind or polite, and most bidders will let you know their dissatisfaction by stomping right back on YOUR bid. This can turn into a huge waste of bids. Please be polite, and don’t stomp – unless this is your strategy, then “you do you”.

Always Learning on DealDash Tips

DealDash

DealDash Tips always encourages bidders new and old to learn as much as possible about the auctions. Here are more tips for those of you who are always learning.

Are you a frequent reader of the DealDash Tips blog? If you are, then you are probably already familiar with all of our standard tips. I will go over some “oldies but goodies” advice and add some new thoughts as well. Do you have any tips or advice for the newbies who are just getting started on DealDash? If so, leave them down in the comments. I’m sure the new bidders would appreciate them.

Bidding on Clothing? Check the Sizes

You may have noticed that DealDash is offering more and more clothing up for auction lately. This is great for me, I am a bit of a clothing collector. However, be sure that you are checking the sizes listed before you bid. If there are measurements, you should refer to those first, as they are typically more accurate than S, M, L-type sizing. The reason that you should pay close attention to the sizing is that if you spend a lot of bids on a certain item and choose to do a BIN (Buy It Now) you’ll want to be sure that you’re getting the correct size for yourself. If you are bidding on clothing as a gift for someone else then you might not be quite as particular if you are only throwing in a few bids to see if you might get a quick and lucky win.

Pay Attention to Other Bidders

An important component of winning auctions on DealDash is paying attention to who the other bidders are, and what they are doing. If you see the same names over and over again in auctions that you participate in, pay attention to them! When do they usually join the auction? Do they drop out and come back to the auction? What auction price do they drop out at, or do they go all the way until they are the winner? These are some important questions to ask yourself as you are watching and bidding in DealDash auctions.

Grab Your Free Bids

If you’re not grabbing your free daily bids, then you are missing out on an amazing gift from DealDash. Yes, that’s right, DealDash offers all bidders a free daily gift of bids! All you have to do is stop by and place a few bids on DealDash every day and they will reward you with free bids. Your first day you will get 4 free bids, and for each consecutive day that you visit you will get more bids, all the way up until you are earning 30 free bids per day! However, if you miss a day of bidding, you will return to the bottom rung of 4 free bids, and then begin working your way up again.
