Bidding Tips for March

DealDash March

Happy March everyone! I hope that you have something fun planned for your first March weekend. If you prefer to stay home and bid, though, I have DealDash tips for you!

Depending on where you are in the USA you might be having a beautiful March weekend, but unfortunately, where I am it’s still below freezing! Since it’s so yucky out I prefer to stay in and play on DealDash, instead. As someone who has seen my fair share of auctions, I have more bidding tips to offer you. Everyone was new once, and I am happy to share my DealDash knowledge with you. Here are some things to keep in mind when you are bidding on DealDash.

Only Bid on Things You Want

When you see “Only bid on things you want.” written out it seems kind of silly, but as someone who has thrown away bids on random items, I know that many people do the same. When you have an extra 50 or 100 bids it’s easy to say “Well, I’ll just put it on this thingamajig.”  Don’t do it! It isn’t a good practice to bid on things just because they are there to bid on. Why not use those bids on something that you really want or need? Save those 50 or 100 bids for the next time you buy a new bid pack, or even just come back the next day and see if DealDash is offering something new that you really like. You could even find things you like now and set an alert.

Setting an Alert is a Smart Move

If you find yourself with some extra bids and there’s nothing that you’re overly excited about up for auction why not search for things that you truly want? If they aren’t currently being offered you can set an alert with the “Alert Me” button. This button is on every product that DealDash has in its catalog, and you can set as many alerts as you would like, there is no limit. Whenever you search for a product on DealDash and discover that there isn’t currently an auction planned for it, be sure to hit the Alert Me button, and you will get an email when the product is scheduled to be up for bid. It’s a great way to never miss an auction that’s important to you.

BIN – the Reason to Only Bid on Things You Want

The main reason that you should only bid on items that you really want is BIN, AKA: Buy It Now. BIN is offered on DealDash auctions as a courtesy to the bidders. If you have been bidding on an auction for something you truly want and you still haven’t won the auction, that’s when you BIN. When you BIN the item for the retail price you will get every single bid that you spent returned to your account when you BIN the item. And that’s why it’s important to bid on things that you really love!

What Does That Even Mean? On DealDash!

DealDash

DealDash is its own special little world, full of amazing deals and people. Some of the practices and terms might be a little unfamiliar, though. Let DealDash give you a lesson.

How does DealDash work? It’s simple! DealDash is a shopping entertainment site where players purchase bids and use them on auctions to win items. If the person doesn’t win the item then they can buy it at the retail price that’s listed on the auction’s page and receive all of their bids back. See? It’s entertaining you while you shop! This can be a little confusing to people when they first start, and DealDash is here to help.

DealDash also has it’s own little lingo as well. What’s a dashboard? Why do I want to “Buy It Now?” Why can’t I have more than one account? DealDash is a completely different auction site than what you might be accustomed to, and it’s normal to feel a little overwhelmed at first. Here is a handy guide to deciphering the DealDash mystery.

DealDash Dashboard

Your Bidder’s Dashboard is where you can keep track of all of your DealDash wins, BINs, and bids. You can also see your orders with tracking, buy more bids, update your account details, and change your profile. The dashboard is a very important piece of DealDash to be familiar with when you are bidding on DealDash.

If you’re a little scatter-brained like I can be, sometimes I lose track of things such as items that I plan on bidding on. I can easily find them in the dashboard after bookmarking them. The dashboard is also great for seeing all of the items that you are eligible to “Buy It Now” and receive all of your bids back. The dashboard is an indispensable piece of your DealDash game.

BIN/Buy It Now

As I mentioned above, DealDash offers a “Buy It Now” or “BIN” option on every single auction. BIN means that you have placed bids in a DealDash auction and didn’t win, but you may purchase the item for retail value and receive all of your bids back. BIN is a very common DealDash word, and you will hear and see it around the site very frequently. DealDash is the only pay-to-bid sites that offer a BIN guarantee. Even if you have a high win/loss ratio you are still likely to lose many auctions to other players. That’s why BIN is such a great option, especially if you are bidding on items that you were planning on buying anyway.

BidBuddy

The BidBuddy is something that you will become extremely familiar with when you are a DealDash bidder. The BidBuddy is DealDash’s automated bidding tool. The BidBuddy is available on every auction, to every bidder. You can use the BidBuddy for free and book as many BidBuddies as you would like.

The BidBuddy is the way to win auctions on DealDash. Single bids just don’t cut it. The BidBuddy will place bids for you in the last 2-3 seconds of an auction. All active BidBuddies in an auction will alternate bidding until there is only one left – hopefully yours! You can place any amount of bids in your BidBuddy and adjust the number or cancel it whenever you like. I love the BidBuddy!

DealDash Tips for Winning Phone Accessories

DealDash phone accessories

I would venture a guess that most people who are reading the DealDash Tips blog has a cell phone. DealDash has some great accessories to win.

What type of phone do you have? It seems that people are staunchly in the Apple or Android camp. Personally, I have a new Google Pixel XL on the way to me as we speak, so count me in with the Androids! DealDash realizes that people need accessories for their phones, so they take care to stock the auction block with many to choose from. Here are some tips for winning phone accessories from DealDash.

Do Your Research

If phone accessories are what you need to win from DealDash then you should research what you’d like. Reading the reviews that DealDash provides on the site can be very helpful. You should follow this link right here and see what phone accessories that DealDash offers for auction. Once you have decided on the phone charger, power bank, or cover that you are interested in, you should set an alert for those items.

Set An Alert

Next, once you have found phone accessories that you like then you will want to set an alert so you will know when the phone case, charger, or even phone is coming up for auction. You can set an alert with just a click! It’s simple, just hit the “Alert Me” button on the main page, or you can open up the individual auction to read more information about the item. You can then set the alert there on its page using the “Alert Me” button. When the item that you are interested in is coming up for auction DealDash will send you an email with a link to check out the auction that you requested.

You Need Those Accessories Anyway, Just BIN It

If you see the perfect phone item that you’re looking for and decide to bid hopefully you will win. Sadly, sometimes no matter how much you want an item someone else wants it more, and you don’t win the auction. Losing an auction isn’t a problem because DealDash offers the BIN option. You can always BIN (Buy It Now), and pay retail price for the item and receive all of your bids back. Not only will you receive your item, all of your bids back, and get to keep the clock time that you accrued while bidding, you will also receive free shipping.

DealDash Tips to Get Your Kids to Exercise

dealdash exercise

How can we encourage kids to exercise? Many children like to play outside, but in the winter that’s not always an option. Here are some ideas and tips to encourage the kids to get physical.

Do your kids like to go outside and run around and play? Are your kids into sports or love to ride their bikes around the neighborhood? Well, that’s great! However, a big problem nowadays, is kids tend to prefer to stay inside playing video games, watching TV, and avoiding physical exercise. Here are some tips and ideas to get your kids off the couch and out in the fresh air.

What’s the Problem?

When did children stop going outside to play? I remember when I was a kid in the 80’s and 90’s going outside after school to play with the kids in my neighborhood. I had video games at home, and we always had cable, but always preferred to go out and see my friends. I’ve found that the biggest challenge to get the kids outside is to find a good way to motivate the kids to turn off their Xbox Ones and Ipads and do some exercise and sports instead.

How Can We Help the Children?

When trying to find a good solution we need to consider government funding, volunteerism, and fundraising to improve sports facilities and organizations. There have been many studies that show that children who live below the poverty line are significantly heavier and less healthy than children in wealthier neighborhoods. It would be wonderful to be able to offer more playgrounds and exercise facilities that children can use for free so that parents can help their children get the exercise they need without sacrificing their funds that need to be spent elsewhere.

Schools Can Help Fix the Problem

Luckily, schools all offer gym class. In fact, schools already encourage children to do regular exercise, since gym class is a required class. However, being a child once, and having a school-aged child, in my opinion, what actually pushes kids towards sports is peer pressure. Sports can be a wonderful way to connect and find ways to relate to other kids in their school.

In children’s younger years, it’s not uncommon to participate in sports such as baseball, basketball, and soccer just because others do. It can be very rewarding physically as well as socially. They learn how to exercise, form friendships and use teamwork, and create memories together.

If your children love sports and physical exercise, DealDash has you covered. DealDash offers regular bikes, exercise bikes, sports shoes, basketballs and hoops, and so much more! Be sure to head on over to DealDash to see the excellent selection of sports equipment that’s up for auction.
