The theme of November 30th’s blog was how to survive the holiday rush on DealDash. The top tip of that blog was to change up your strategy if you feel yourself getting a little complacent. The advice from blogger Theresa suggested:

“Maybe you bid from the get-go early on and stay the course or drop out after a certain number of bids. The blog on December 2nd was some tips that made sense when you are trying to get wins. The best and most useful tip on that article was to decide what you want and just go for it. If there’s an item in your household that you were planning on buying anyway it just makes sense to put enough bids in your BidBuddy to reach the BIN (Buy It Now) price.

DealDash Tips That Make Sense

After you’ve been bidding on DealDash for a while there are certain tips that just make sense. Read on to see what these tips are and how to use them.

How long have you been bidding on DealDash? If you just signed up today, great! Welcome to DealDash. However, if you have been bidding on DealDash for a while then you have probably figured out some tips and tricks that just make sense to you. I know I have! Now it’s time to share them. Read this article to get more information on tips that make sense.

Only Bid on Things You Want

Only bid on what you want? What does that mean? It means, of course, that you shouldn’t just be throwing your bids around on anything and everything that you see. That just doesn’t make any sense. For example, I have seen the same bidder bid on 3 different sizes of shoes. That just doesn’t make sense! Of course, they could have been bidding on them for a gift, but I just thought that it was a little odd.

Do keep in mind, though, if you win an item in a certain size you may not swap it for a different size. Personally, I won a sweater a month or so ago. After looking at the size chart I realized that my “regular” size in this sweater wouldn’t fit me, and I emailed customer service to ask if I could swap the size. Unfortunately, they explained that they only have a certain number of each item in each size, so therefore I couldn’t swap. They suggested that I swap my win for bids. This was a fine solution.

When You Want Something, Go Get It!

What I mean by this is that if you see the perfect item for you on DealDash, you should put enough bids in to reach the retail price. Why? Because if you still don’t win the auction after you have put the bids in to reach the price you can always do a BIN, or Buy It Now, and get all of your bids back. You’ll also get free and fast shipping.

For example, I knew that I was getting a kitten. I had been on a waiting list for a particular breed of kitten for 2 years, so I knew that the time was coming. When I saw that DealDash had the Littermaid Self-Cleaning Cat Box, I knew that I would be getting it, whether it was a win or a BIN. This was 100% a product that I had planned on purchasing anyway, so it just made good sense to try as hard as I could to win it. Unfortunately, I wasn’t the winner of the auction, but I was still happy. I was able to do a BIN, get all of my bids back, get free shipping, and keep the clock time that I accumulated while I was bidding. Side note: Best BIN ever!

Welcome back to DealDash Tips. Today we have 3 great tips for you to consider when you are participating on DealDash.

There are a lot of good tips out there, but here are 3 of some of the best ones that we can think of. You won’t want to join any DealDash auction without thinking about and using these tips first. No matter if you are a newbie or a seasoned player, these tips will work for anyone. Read on for more information from DealDash Tips.

1 – Get the Free Bids You’re Entitled To

That’s right – you as a DealDash bidder are entitled to a bunch of free bids every single day. There are lots of different ways to get your free bids. Here are some of the most popular:

By bidding in auctions – In every auction on DealDash you will earn free bids. DealDashcalls this “Time As Highest Bidder (TAHB). Another way that you can earn free bids by bidding is simply to bid every day. On each consecutive day that you place a bid on DealDash you will receive 4 free bids all the way up to 30 free bids if you remember to bid on consecutive days.
Exchange a win – You might not be crazy about each and every item you win on DealDash. I know that I personally will throw a few bids on anything that I find interesting. Sometimes I win for just a few bids, but when I look closer at the item I realize that I don’t really need it. You can exchange your wins for free DealDash bids.

2 – Do Your Research on the Items You Want

You should always do research on purchases that you make online. Winning or BINning items on DealDash is no exception. You should research all of the things about the item that are important to you. For example, you might want to check out product reviews on the item. You can check product reviews on DealDash, or just google the name of the item and the word “review” Always do your research before bidding in auctions on DealDash or other online shopping destinations, especially when it’s a higher priced item.

3 – Always Use Your BidBuddy

The BidBuddy is something that we always encourage you to use. It just makes good sense, especially since most of the bidders on DealDash are using the BidBuddy. Not using him can put you at a disadvantage – and there’s no reason why you shouldn’t use BidBuddy, anyway, he’s free! Using the BidBuddy is easy. Here’s how:

Open up an individual item’s auction page. Look at the page, you will see two ways to bid. There is a “Bid Now” button and the BidBuddy. The BidBuddy has a blank white space, and that’s where you will input the number of bids you want to spend. After that, click “Book a BidBuddy” and your BidBuddy will now be set and ready to go.

Don’t Bid Tired from the November 20th Blog

The theme of November 20th’s blog was some “tried and true” tips that we always recommend here at DealDash Tips. The top tip from that blog was to skip bidding when you are too tired. The advice suggested to either wait til the next auction comes around, or use your BidBuddy and let him do all of the work for you. When you’re tired you can make some bad decisions that you wouldn’t normally make. Just wait for the next auction to come around, or if it’s something that you need right away then let BidBuddy help you out.

Conserving Bids from the November 21st Blog

November 21st’s blog was all about suggestions how you can stretch your DealDash bids. Barbara was the author of that article, and she has been bidding on DealDash for quite some time. Here’s one of her great suggestions to stretch your bids:

If the auction usually closes at $15.00 and it is now at $13.00 you might be able to let the last two players go head-to-head until it reaches $14.00. Then they will have each used up 50 more bids than you, and that could make a winning difference. -Barbara
