What Happens After Winning on DealDash?

DealDash

It’s an incredible feeling when you bid and win on DealDash. However, what you do after the auction matters, too. What do YOU do after you win?

After you win a DealDash auction it’s only right to do a little happy dance and pump your fist in the air and say “YESSSS!!!” After that, though, what is your plan of action? Here are some ideas, tips, and suggestions for you.

To Pay or Not to Pay?

Did you know that you don’t have to pay immediately on DealDash? You can wait a couple of days. If you have won a more expensive auction then it will allow you some time to get the money together to pay. Personally, I like to pay immediately after winning. Otherwise, I might forget to pay and lose my item. If you are too late then DealDash will re-auction the item, and you will not get to purchase your item. Therefore, I like to pay right away. You never know when you might get busy at work or with your family and forget that you have an item to pay for. It has happened to me a couple of times and it’s not a happy feeling!

Jump Right Back in or Wait?

Next, you’ll want to decide if you are done bidding for the day or if you want to pick a new auction. There are a few different schools of thought on this. Some people think that winning begets winning, and you should try to keep up your winning streak. Other people might say that you don’t want to use up so many bids in one day and to spread things out a little. Yet another thought is that if you’ve already had a good win that day then perhaps it’s someone else’s turn, and you should step aside and let someone else win.

Well, guess what? ALL of those are valid ideas! That’s one of the great things about DealDash, you can bid your way, as you like. You can do something different each way as well, you’re not locked into a specific bidding pattern. You can step aside and let someone else win one day, and maybe the next day you will have a hot winning streak and win three auctions in a row. It’s up to you to decide how you want to bid on DealDash.

Tips to Conserve Your DealDash Bids

DealDash

All DealDash bidders have something in common. They want to conserve their bids! Read on for more information from DealDash Tips Blog.

Conserving bids on DealDash isn’t as difficult as you might think. You just have to pay close attention to the auctions that are going on, keep an eye on your bids, and be a little tricky. You accomplish all of these things, it just takes a little bit of practice. Here are some tips to accomplish your goal of conserving bids.

Only Bid on One Item at a Time

A very good way to conserve bids is to only bid on one auction at a time. If you are bidding on multiple auctions at once then you are using up twice as many bids in the same time period, or even more! Not only that, it’s fairly hard to pay close attention to more than one auction at a time. However, if you simply must participate in more than one auction at a time then be sure to use your BidBuddy.

The BidBuddy is a Must

Even if you are only bidding in one auction at a time, then the BidBuddy is still a very good idea to use. The BidBuddy will prevent you from using more bids than you need to, therefore conserving bids. The way that you can conserve bids by using the BidBuddy is simple. If you are doing single-bids then you might be double-bidding! The way the BidBuddy works is that it takes turns with the other BidBuddies, bidding in a round.

For example, it would be Bidder A, Bidder B, Bidder C, Bidder A, Bidder B, Bidder C. However, if you aren’t using the BidBuddy you might accidentally be bidding in-between the rounds so you are bidding more than your fellow bidders using the BidBuddy.

Pay Attention to Your Fellow Bidders

If you aren’t paying attention to the other bidders then you might be losing bids. By paying attention to your fellow bidders then you will be able to conserve bids by knowing their bidding style. If you find yourself bidding with the same people over and over again, pay attention! You will be able to determine if a bidder is more likely to bow out after the auction reaches a few dollars or if they are the type to bid until they reach the BIN (Buy It Now) price.

Bid Early and Often on DealDash from the June 2nd Blog

The theme of June 2nd’s blog explored some ways that you can rule the auctions on DealDash. The top tip of that blog was to remember to bid early before the auction hits $5 so you won’t be locked out. Here is a great tip from that blog:

“Many people like to get their bids in early so they aren’t locked out when the auction hits the $5 No Jumper limit. However, many, many people seem to just put in one bid to save their place. Sure, putting in 1 bid to save your place is a good idea. However, an even better idea would be to stick around and keep bidding. ”
