Bidding Tips for March

DealDash March

Happy March everyone! I hope that you have something fun planned for your first March weekend. If you prefer to stay home and bid, though, I have DealDash tips for you!

Depending on where you are in the USA you might be having a beautiful March weekend, but unfortunately, where I am it’s still below freezing! Since it’s so yucky out I prefer to stay in and play on DealDash, instead. As someone who has seen my fair share of auctions, I have more bidding tips to offer you. Everyone was new once, and I am happy to share my DealDash knowledge with you. Here are some things to keep in mind when you are bidding on DealDash.

Only Bid on Things You Want

When you see “Only bid on things you want.” written out it seems kind of silly, but as someone who has thrown away bids on random items, I know that many people do the same. When you have an extra 50 or 100 bids it’s easy to say “Well, I’ll just put it on this thingamajig.”  Don’t do it! It isn’t a good practice to bid on things just because they are there to bid on. Why not use those bids on something that you really want or need? Save those 50 or 100 bids for the next time you buy a new bid pack, or even just come back the next day and see if DealDash is offering something new that you really like. You could even find things you like now and set an alert.

Setting an Alert is a Smart Move

If you find yourself with some extra bids and there’s nothing that you’re overly excited about up for auction why not search for things that you truly want? If they aren’t currently being offered you can set an alert with the “Alert Me” button. This button is on every product that DealDash has in its catalog, and you can set as many alerts as you would like, there is no limit. Whenever you search for a product on DealDash and discover that there isn’t currently an auction planned for it, be sure to hit the Alert Me button, and you will get an email when the product is scheduled to be up for bid. It’s a great way to never miss an auction that’s important to you.

BIN – the Reason to Only Bid on Things You Want

The main reason that you should only bid on items that you really want is BIN, AKA: Buy It Now. BIN is offered on DealDash auctions as a courtesy to the bidders. If you have been bidding on an auction for something you truly want and you still haven’t won the auction, that’s when you BIN. When you BIN the item for the retail price you will get every single bid that you spent returned to your account when you BIN the item. And that’s why it’s important to bid on things that you really love!

DealDash Tips for Winning Phone Accessories

DealDash phone accessories

I would venture a guess that most people who are reading the DealDash Tips blog has a cell phone. DealDash has some great accessories to win.

What type of phone do you have? It seems that people are staunchly in the Apple or Android camp. Personally, I have a new Google Pixel XL on the way to me as we speak, so count me in with the Androids! DealDash realizes that people need accessories for their phones, so they take care to stock the auction block with many to choose from. Here are some tips for winning phone accessories from DealDash.

Do Your Research

If phone accessories are what you need to win from DealDash then you should research what you’d like. Reading the reviews that DealDash provides on the site can be very helpful. You should follow this link right here and see what phone accessories that DealDash offers for auction. Once you have decided on the phone charger, power bank, or cover that you are interested in, you should set an alert for those items.

Set An Alert

Next, once you have found phone accessories that you like then you will want to set an alert so you will know when the phone case, charger, or even phone is coming up for auction. You can set an alert with just a click! It’s simple, just hit the “Alert Me” button on the main page, or you can open up the individual auction to read more information about the item. You can then set the alert there on its page using the “Alert Me” button. When the item that you are interested in is coming up for auction DealDash will send you an email with a link to check out the auction that you requested.

You Need Those Accessories Anyway, Just BIN It

If you see the perfect phone item that you’re looking for and decide to bid hopefully you will win. Sadly, sometimes no matter how much you want an item someone else wants it more, and you don’t win the auction. Losing an auction isn’t a problem because DealDash offers the BIN option. You can always BIN (Buy It Now), and pay retail price for the item and receive all of your bids back. Not only will you receive your item, all of your bids back, and get to keep the clock time that you accrued while bidding, you will also receive free shipping.

DealDash Tips for Losing Gracefully

dealdash tipsEveryone loses sometimes on DealDash, but there are always more auctions to win. Here are some tips for losing gracefully from DealDash.

There are hundreds and hundreds of auctions every day on DealDash, however, DealDash is the most popular pay-to-bid auction site, so there is some stiff competition. Everyone wants to win, of course!  You have to remember that there is always another bidder waiting in the wings for when you make a mistake, too. Everyone wants to win the auction as much as you do, and there is only one winner per auction. Losing gracefully is a good skill to have, here are some tips from DealDash to help you.

Be Observant, Even When Losing

Be sure that you are observing the other bidders when you are on DealDash, even when it’s clear that you aren’t going to win. By observing the other bidders who are winning you can learn things their bidding styles, their endurance, and whether or not they use their BidBuddies.

When it’s clear that I’m not going to win an auction I stop bidding and stay to watch. By watching the other bidders I can pick up some handy tips and tricks that I might miss out on if I closed the laptop and walked away. Don’t be pouty when you don’t win, you can always BIN!

BINning is Almost as Good as Winning

If you have spent more than a few bids in a DealDash auction you need to be using the BIN (Buy It Now) feature. When you BIN an auction that you didn’t win you get exactly the amount of bids that you placed back into your account. You can use these bids again the same day or save them for later, it’s your choice. You will also receive free shipping on all BINS as well as wins, of course. Since you have everything back that you originally started with, I wouldn’t consider that much of a loss!

DealDash Tips for Less Loss

DealDash don't do it

We all love DealDash auctions. Today we are going to tell you some things that you shouldn’t be doing. Want to have less losses? Read this article.

Do you want to know what you should avoid doing while bidding on DealDash? Here are some tried and true tips to win more and lose less! Read this article to gain some insights on how to get more wins and enjoy DealDash to the fullest extent.

Don’t Put All of Your Eggs in One Basket

When you’re bidding on DealDash it’s important not to put all of your bids into one auction – fill up your BidBuddy with the equivalent to the retail price if you’d like, of course, but don’t overbid! I know that you probably are hoping to rack up some more clock time as the highest bidder (TATHB) to earn free bids from DealDash, but don’t do it! It only takes a moment for the other bidders to drop out and then you will be stuck “winning” the auction, but really losing money, if you have paid more in bids than the auction is worth.

A much better plan would be to stop bidding when you have reached the retail price with the value of bids, and then BIN (Buy It Now) the auction for the retail price so you can get all of your bids back. You will also receive free shipping and get to keep your TATHB time as well.

Don’t Spread Yourself Too Thin, Either

Even though you shouldn’t put all of your eggs into one basket, you should spread yourself too thin, either! I personally never bid in more than three auctions or so at a time. I like to keep an eye on each one, even if I am using the BidBuddy in all of them. The only exception that I make to this personal rule is on the days that DealDash runs their “50 (or 75 or 100) auctions start at once” promotion. There are always so many great things to bid on that I couldn’t possibly just pick three!

I hope that you found these tips for bidding on DealDash helpful.
